401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Millionaires: % of BTC Owned by 100 BTC and above. Achieving BTC Millionaire! on: August 25, 2020, 07:24:23 PM
Below is a link to the % of Bitcoin owned by addresses and what it takes to be a millionaire in Bitcoin. This is from Bitinfocharts.

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

Essentially, if you have currently more than 100 BTC, now, at $11,329.49 USD from www.coinmarketcap.com you are pretty solidly above a worth

of 1 Million USD if you HODL more than 100 BTC! That should make a few people here on www.bitcointalk.org feel plenty good! Smiley

Of the current Bitcoin in circulation and current % of persons HODL'ing more than 100 BTC to reach this status is 61.46% of all BTC addresses out there are worth more

than 1 Million Dollars in USD! Smiley

A further chart below was from Feb 14th, 2013, and the article "How-many-people-actually-have-at-least-1-Bitcoin" as another view of this.

https://medium.com/@bitzlato/how-many-people-actually-have-at-least-1-bitcoin-ac8d1260509e

Where do you stand on all this? Are you one of the lucky ones with more than 100 BTC in a HODL/HOARD BTC wallet?

Take the poll.

Thanks

Can you recommend a good page for checking delegates and pools?

http://newera.liberspirita.net ✌️

Not sure..but does this list even work .if you always have to pick the top 101 to get bennies? In that, the top 101 actually are the only ones that forge?

or did I miss something new on this since the last delegate pool wars?

Anything new happening in Sia, the charts look interesting and worth the investment imo...

A good punt wont be too bad imho

well..the talk tonite by the head guy on their progress

https://thecurrencyanalytics.com/18232/siacoin-sc-august-23-2020-nebulous-ceo-david-vorick-to-speak-on-future-proof/

I sure hope they announce that after www.coinbase.com said that they are looking at Siacoin it is announced as such on this talk.

Doubtful, but hey a guy can dream right?

405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: August 22, 2020, 07:30:25 AM
I personally am also waiting for the next project defi to be able to invest or join the bounty
If you are really interested in investing in the DeFi project, you can check out this https://icodrops.com/category/upcoming-ico/
There are a number of defi projects that will do token sales.

Can't do ICO's in the USA...I 'suppose' I could do an ICO with a VPN and such..and IF you actually paid taxes on such you'd maybe be OK...

but that pesky 'you are banned as from the United States' that pops up tends to negate my view of pulling this off on the above. Sad

keeping the BTC hold/hoard..but awaiting a sh*tcoin/altcoin pump..about 10% of my hoard is that....they may hit the wind

on around 18 to 20k btc...i might flush the works at that point...what would be 'confusing' is if they went 'bubble high' as they did

while BTC was pumping back in the day....that will be an interesting 'pucker' choice..if that happens Smiley

anyway, like all plans it is probably based on 'fantasy' and I will hodl and accumulate both like an 'old lady' with cats...

(damn, a constant state of wtf and wtf should I do since I got into BTC/crypto in 2013....consitent confusion...as a mode of operation I have it seems. Smiley
sell 10% of.your stash at 14k say 10 of 100 coins leaves you 90. Sell 10% or 9 of the 90 at 16 k.  Sell 8 of the remaining  81 at 20 k you are now down to 73 coins and you cashed 27 coins for more then 500k.

yeah....but ..it's my BTC Smiley gasp! I agree with your plan howerver..but I am a HODL addict Sad

on the other hand, I need the BTC to it around 15k or more and THEN have ALTCOINS go crazy/stupid bubble as they have in the past

clean out all my shitcoin don't ya know

also needs to be under what is it 400k on a sale to stay at 15% cap gains or some such

the older I get however the less I give a flying f*ck about selling BTC just to be contrary....I have means w/o BTC and collect social security next year..you get to an age wherein 20

years they are gonna stick you in a nursing home run by nice college co-eds and you get more and more onery year by year

I probably under no circumstances will ever touch the BTC proper because no need to ..pass it on to others probably

damn, not sure....my views change on this according to one outrageous BTC number from another Smiley

I SUPPOSE i could up my 'attractiveness' and flash a lot of money around fast cars/fast women/fast friends..but mainly I just want to nap... Sad

Hello can you tell me when Litecoin will become anonymous? The protocol will change then?

At the current rate for the start of testing will be in the Fall of 2020 I heard maybe...so probably not implemented until Fall of 2021.

Be aware LTC projects are always 'years' behind...so it could be much longer! Sad

most recent news: last issue of july 2020

Again..he is trying to get it together from above to test this fall..so a release will be well into 2021 ..if past releases are any guide...

so again..sometime next fall is my guess. Also, remember from above his GRIN work always comes first this is a side project.

We will be the first to know I guess

I'd like to know 'how' legit this story is on a LTC Card.

I mean is it just a 're-vamp' of the attempt 2 years ago that became 'vaporware'?

https://bitnewstoday.com/news/litecoin-issues-a-card-with-a-feature-to-convert-ltc-to-fiat-and-launches-ballet-litecoin-block/

I signed up for the site...shows a lot of info if it DID work but none of it is ready yet..just a template.

Anyway, what do people think? Or is this just another 'stunt' like Mimblewimble which is in the 'SomeDay' camp of LTC projects far in the future?

I also believe in the success of bitcoin forks. Many of them are highly versatile cryptocurrencies and have a very good chance of success with investors.

As to BTC forks, recently, like in the last year or so...er...no....that ship has sailed IMHO.

If you do know of any, let me know, but BTC forks are completely out of favor now...and provide nothing in the way of return.

If anyone else is ever sued by him, they would be justified in asking the court to take a deposit in advance against fees in case of default.

I find him slightly less appealing than an anal wart.

Big Whoop! He never had to pay. No way to enforce it. Worse case for Craig Wright is that he can't go to Sweden. Big Whoop!

If he loses the case in the USA the same thing, simply will not pay and not go to the USA and whine about such how he was screwed for the next decade!

Nothing will ever get resolved with CW, nothing but 'spin' it is not my fault and I am Satoshi till the day he dies, get used this, it is never going away. Sad

He will pay nothing he owes to any Court anyplace. He will simply move elsewhere to another country, most do not extradite on 'fiscal court rulings' like this.

He also will claim a win/win on the USA case no matter how it turns out in the following manner

(1) if he LOSES the case, he will not pay, but say it proves he is Satoshi because the court required him to pay! (wait for it)

and

(2) if he WINS he will say that he is still Satoshi, because the court could not prove he was not, it just proved the Klieman Estate had no rights to his

'supposed' Satoshi Hoard.

See, he can't lose, as long as he can 'befuddle' some people till the end of his life with his 'conspiracy theory that he is the victim...too many people are making too much

money the BSV sh*tcoin to ever let him be proven to NOT be Satoshi..add his ego and it is all a giant 'stall' tactic and flim/flam spin. Sad

FJC is now listed on unnamed.exchange
https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=FJC_BTC

lol...no buy orders found. Smiley

I got 10 million FJC somebody give me an offer! Smiley

brad

Dear Brad!
I want to talk to you about how much FJC you have.
Henry

Ok....dokey....as you can see I have 10 million of FJC...it would be a 'crime' to lead you on it is worth anything though.

But as far as I can tell yearly volume on FJC came out to be about always less than about $1 a day for the last year to date. Smiley

link for such, go to YTD chart here: https://www.coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fujicoin/

so for right now a framed FJC Wallet with PRIVATE KEY displayed....is 'likely' worth more as 'wall art' than anything else.

Feel free to PM me on here if that is your preference.

IRS sees credit as an amount owing:
https://twitter.com/lopp/status/1282410654478065667
Sure, they probably cut the slob a check, thus it was a negative number on their books.

I'm laughing at the "payroll tax credit". It's not a credit, the taxes are still owed and it's really money that funds Social Security and Medicare, two things that poor schmucks are going to need going forward and won't be getting if it's not paid for.

My guess is they knows he's going to lose and is thus trying to front-load as much crap as possible for the next administration to unwind (thus "raising taxes") and de-fuck. Fair enough.

yeah....you still owe the taxes ....supposedly..it is not like your employer is gonna pay this..so essentially they are just saying you can use your not paying

payroll tax as a credit card at the expense of social security and medicare for all..if your bankrupt medicare and social security then you can privatize it all for your

bit money Trump/Republican donors! win/win

yeah, every day it is gonna be more and more drama for Trump...

I do notice the firing of all the top postal officials so that his 'minion' there can further mess with postal service to declare mail-in votes 'fraud'

remember mail-in votes have to be counted with a postmark...by a certain date....whatcha wanna bet the crisis and full lockdown of no postal service will be like 2 weeks

before this deadline and the postal service comes to a complete halt? Right when the 'majority' of mail-in ballots hit the world of postal service?

If Trump wins the election due to some electorial college 'tomfoolery' or other 'suppress' the vote antics...I will become like the young people today a 'minimalist'

I'll get rid of, 20 years early before they stick me in a nursing home, the house, possessions, everything and 'travel' outside the USA just as to not hear this

crap for the next 4 years. Should probably do this anyway, but I swear, if somehow this clusterf*ck continues for another 4 years, I'll get perm residence in

Canada and just 'commute' to Minnesota occasionally, to see my friends here.

Every month I think this 'Trump Circus' cannot get any worse, and every month I'm dead wrong. Sad

417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 06, 2020, 09:01:09 PM
TBH, I'm not really impressed with the volume so far. I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion, but it feels as if a single entity (or a small whale group) controls everything in the market float from ~$10,5k to $12k. And it looks as if their mega pump hasn't really attracted other whale traders at this point.

We could have retracement soonish. Prepare to BTFD.
I'm ready to buy a tidy chunk of physical. Come on baby, drop if you will... or go straight to 12k and stay up there before shooting up some more.

I'm on full HODL on BTC...but if BTC goes to like to say $16K or some such I will be 'sacrificing' some of my Altcoins on the bloody Altar of BTC!

the catch is...will altcoins go doom on a pump but then shoot up afterwards in price as in the past...or will they simply have the 'blood' sucked out of them

by BTC pumping to new heights and yet another boat missed. Timing will be 'everything' on such a dump of altcoins for 'dubious cash' uses of which I can't

inform people on here, because you would be 'accessories before the fact' Smiley (kidding I'm kinda boring)

anyway, as with all things crypto I should just flip a coin on-selling altcoins, when if my 'pucker' factor alarm goes off. I really should let 'random chance'

make such sell/buy decisions...lord knows my 'logic' does not work...so at least that way I could 'blame' luck/chance instead..would be refreshing...

whatever...but likely at least half of my altcoins will be sacrificed at around $16k for cash and nefarious uses Smiley

Holy shit! That was intense.

What blows my mind is that it was only a 1-2 kt TNT-equivalent yield. Just imagine an explosion like Castle Bravo that was 10,000 times that  Shocked

what I wonder is the 'smallest' tactical nuke? must be about that size for a battlefield

i think they likely will find the blast was bigger than that in that about 2/3 of it went out over the water and the seaport side

(like i know sh*t about this kinda thing)

Really great to see eth developers working round the clock to make Eth 2.0 a reality as soon as possible, the real events will be mainnet launch and then full implementation of eth 2.0 with change of algorithm from pow to pos, really excited for a fully loaded year for ethereum and its hodlers.

if you put up the 33 ETH for a testnet Eth.2.0 Node....are you automatically in to run a node when it goes live? Curious.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I bought 30 grand usd worth of P106 and hosted them in China! on: August 03, 2020, 07:34:13 PM
Hey whats up guys, I am Bruce and I just bought 30,000 USD of p106 card and hosted them in China. 33 eight-cards rigs. This is the first time I posted something here lol. I want to mark my revenue and every expense every two or three days to give the newbee a clear idea of GPU mining. I am not a master but I used to do GPU rental services so I know a bit.

All the p106 cards I bought were from one of my rental contractor farms in China, we have been working together for two years. And I just wired him money and let him do all the stuff for me. His farm is in Guizhou, China. The elec is 0.057 USD, and approximately 1.23 USD for electricity use per miner per day. And p106 I bought was 800 for one 8-card rig. I gave him my exchange wallet and I got paid directly everyday when the pool pays.

I made a google sheet to monitor my investment and everybody can view it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LBD2zgDZxrdUkreOYUcwBqr75E0l_jdsqz4ZpTW6GNY/edit?usp=sharing

I hope you guys can get what you need from here, thanks!

Ah...the 'holy grail' of mining ...in the USA in that we can't compete on an average price of 10c kWh Summer rates here in the USA and mine anymore. Sad

This is if you 'speak the language' or 'if you actually find an honest fellow, in whatever country you are trying to pull such off at.

I figure your odds are probably 1 out of 5, even with proper venting and the rest.

I sent $10k in like 2016 to Maxumark on here for 6 liquidated due to Bankruptcy KNC Titan Miners..never met the guy..but talked on the phone a month previous

...we won  the 1st bid of like 24 or so...but that was a test....I think it was $1,900 a unit including special rates for shipping from Sweden. KNC Titans were going used on

eBay for around $2.5k I think, thus why we risked such. You know how much time we spent 'venting' the lawyer and his firm doing the bankruptcy from Sweden and

stalked him online and google earth...we were more than a bit dubious.

So the 'test' batch of 24 we bid, so we got lucky, the rest went to 'insider' KNC whales. (not hard to figure..they bought 100 or so ...we put counter bid up to $100, for our

a small batch of 20 or so they then counter matched a $100 on to their 100 units....went on like that for 3 batches. Then again, not sure I'd try that again.

Also, the fact we were about 60/40% sure KNC being 'evil' and all could have simply sent us 'liquidated' BTC KNC miners of NO worth, even at that time.

Or a box of rocks...we were actually 'shocked' that they came as 5 cubes as the

lawyer stated. Being a 'liquidation' sale we had no rights and they could have sent us rocks indeed!

But of course, they slapped them together from parts with 'temp workers' in that KNC had been out of consumer business for 2 years at that time. With a lot of cubes

having NO insulation under the heatsink. They burnt some dies out testing anyway. We

bid accordingly but actually, with dead dies, they mined as 4 cube units. Made a LOT of LTC from this deal, would love to find something as you have in China.

But my 'pucker' factor is 'too low' to jump in on 10 units of some such w/o any proof. Alas.

Hope your legit, with newbie account (ha!) But if you pulled such off..it is the 'holy grail' to find someone honest in your setup that this works well.

We 'desire' on this thread MORE proof that you are not a 'scammer' ..if for no other reason to watch from 'afar' and see how this 'crypto soap opera' plays out.
