How can we measure the current adoption rate other than price?

Two things I watch over the long term as far as network strength have been number of connections to my wallet and network weight. Both have been increasing over time although can fluctuate in the short term. I have 64 connections right now which is the most I have ever seen.

After the 13 years are up and we are at 1 million coins what will the POS reward rate? My understanding is at that point it will be based solely on transaction fees.

I know that might be a hard question to answer but can you give a ball park guess?

It will all depend on the amount of transactions and fee settings each person chooses but the full amount of Bitcoinplus have not been mined into existence yet so nobody can predict what the adoption rate will be in the end.

Increased hashpower along with increased transactions and tightening block times.Always refer to the blockexplorer and then overall sentiment such as increased merchant adoption and community growth etc.

Especially adding to several china exchanges have big important. The Bitcoin Plus team already knows this.

We are working on getting added to other exchanges to compliment Poloniex our primary exchange  but if anyone has the freenode channel for whatever exchange or email etc just post them here or pm and we will contact them directly.

Community members can whenever they get a spare moment each day help by going onto these channels and requesting each exchange to take a look at us and consider a listing.

Here is exactly what I'm saying:

As Bitcoin as a whole grows you will see massive growth from XBC as well. The likelihood of XBC hitting a billion dollar market is very much possible so do the math.

When I do the math using a billion dollar market cap I get two very different numbers, today's number and the 1 million coins outstanding in 2030 number.

Today there is roughly 95 thousand coins in supply which divided into a billion gets you $10,500 a coin.

In 2030 1 million coins in supply divided by a billion gets you $1,000 a coin.

Either way big numbers from where we are now.

The reason for the delay is because we want to try to release all versions at the same time if possible however if you want to use the current version it will work as normal and all you will have to do is update to new client when it releases.

It goes without saying that you should ensure you have your back up from a fully synced wallet so let the wallet sync fully and then send your coins to the correct address and import and save private keys for any addresses you hold balances on.In other words take the usual precautions in case of hardware,software failure.
