anyone know of a tutorial that shows how to set up a bitcoin plus miner?

Anyone can Mine new coins , without extra knowledge , Just Install XBC Wallet in your PC and deposit coins.

Easy to mine:  You need coins in your XBC Wallet, that's all.

I would link the banner towards Poloniex

https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_xbc

or

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-plus/

Most people visiting coinmarketcap have probably a poloniex account. This way they would know what to do ... buy $XBC

Some should reference the website. Some the exchange. There is no link to the XBC website or bitcointalk thread from Polo. However both are linked from the website. The website is where people go for information. We may even have a specific landing page for banner click throughs. Different banners may also have different click through urls depending on the banner topic. Its a case of putting Banner A against Banner B and finding the optimum.

Yeah Poloniex ist maybe not the right move.

But instead of the Website I would put the link towards

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-plus/

there you have ALL the Info. Website, Price, Exchanges, Chart.

BTW: Nice Graphics i like the blinky one.

Hi Community!

First of all congrats, I love XBC and believe it will take over the market!! Im also a noob so some questions... Thanks for helping )))

I just downloaded and synced my wallet and sent over my xbc from Polo into the wallet.

1) Am I now automatically staking, or need i do something for that still?
2) Do I need to do a backup, how often and how do i do that?
3) In case you guys develop some new wallet or some important update comes through, where and how will i find out what to do and how to act accordingly to protect the tokens in my wallet?
4) Is there already an option for cold wallet, or paper wallet storage for a segment of my xbc (for long term hold) ?

Thank you very much for helping me with this.

P.S. I'd be happy to add my two cents to make XBC a success so if you need anything in Dutch/German/ Czech - I speak these languages and would love to make my contributions to the rise of Bitcoin Plus

Thanks, Jan Antonie

1) Am I now automatically staking, or need i do something for that still? If you are synced and your balance is reserved for staking you need do nothing further except keep you wallet synced up occassionally.

2) Do I need to do a backup, how often and how do i do that? Yes go to settings and back up your wallet when it is fully synced.Only generate a back up from a fully synced wallet. Also go to the tutorials below to generate a private key as extra back up and store this safely. You must have a private key for each address that holds a balance.

3) In case you guys develop some new wallet or some important update comes through, where and how will i find out what to do and how to act accordingly to protect the tokens in my wallet? Your tokens are in your wallet.dat and private key for each address holding a balance but always refer to the official website or this thread for info regarding updates or twitter, facebook.

4) Is there already an option for cold wallet, or paper wallet storage for a segment of my xbc (for long term hold) ? Private and wallet.dat do this.

With the wallet capable of being switched from standard mode to privacy mode maybe there is a way of the banner showing this buy changing color to grey when talking about privacy etc and the orange when talking about regular stuff.Just an idea but here are some of the grey graphics that can be used with different shades some darker and some lighter.

I asked myself this question also.. did not find anything new as in really new development... but XBC is called Bitcoin Plus, so the name bitcoin does a lot.. the coin is much better than Bitcoin, has Tor integration for privacy and is much scarcer, ratio 1:21 with bitcoin.

So i guess the devs picked up development again and the world noticed... of course the name Bitcoin Plus did half the work for investor interest..
