Seems to be lots of interest alright as this thread gets hit by lurkers many times per day but not too many take the time to vote or post anything.Maybe we need to get grounbeeftaxi back with a few of those titty adverts to jazz things up a bit.On the plus side though there are no technical issues and xbc is happily staking away as usual.Price has improved too so happy days.

We dont mind lurkers.Maybe satoshi even looks in now and again. And price has indeed improved without any volume or buy support really.Looks like the only way to buy xbc is off the sell book really so dont start complaining about the price being too high if the day comes you want some to buy parts for your spaceship and xbc is the best way to pay for them.

If someone placed 100BTC @ .0003 they probably still wouldnt get 1 xbc of that order filled.Low price buy support would only make people start pumping the coin into oblivion without any reason.Extensive work has already been done with xbc and someone intentionally ran the price down in order to acccumulate a large amount so they can keep suppressing the price/double their money buy dumping slightly higher or maybe have some other plan down the line but it is a pointless exercise really as xbc could sit at its normal value of .005 easily without any effort or so called whales to keep it there but why should anyone make that effort if the community is not making a better effort to promote xbc and get on their twitter etc to bittrex and cryptsy etc etc?

Yes.  Prohashing.com will be setting up a mining pool for us soon.  They were given a copy of the source earlier this week.  I am hoping for them to have it setup within the next couple of weeks hopefully.

"Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,

Ryan @ Bittrex

All hashpower is welcome from Prohashing.com - mine scrypt; get paid in any coin
Custom pool optimized for maximum performance of all scrypt hardware

If anyone has signature space maybe they could point peeps to that site for a while and we can post it on the website and twitter etc?

Once again I would encourage all XBC'ers to bombard cryptsy and bittrex with tweets and haunt their irc with requests to get listed. We need a bigger community presence.

Yes sir.  We are currently working on getting listed at more exchanges and mining pools primarily.  We have also been restructuring the team during the last month to increase productivity.  We have 2 new team members in the group which include a marketing person and a crypto developer.  Actual wallet and coin developments are coming soon, but like I said we have been doing more administrative things at this time.  Mr. Egghead or PlusBus will add to this soon im sure.

There's nothing really more to add to the above jjmv so updates and developments will be announced whenever they come. Our priority is rebuilding an active community who take an interest in and have their own ideas.

Anyone of course is welcome to come on board and work on whatever they want to see implemented.
