I dont truly consider that bitcoin is straightforward to make clear on little ones simply because there is so many complicated items in bitcoin though and it is not that easy as fiat forex. I consider it is higher opportunity to be scam instead than in fiat, far more over if this is accomplished by little ones, there will be a good deal of scamming things occur

yes teach kids about bitcoin by way of playing puzzle or make it educational bitcoin games for kids to help them learn more and have more fun too Smiley Wink Kiss
Yeah there are a lot of ways to teach the children about the bitcoin but the most important thing is we need to choose the easy and the simple way of the bitcoin. The price and the value of the bitcoin is easy to attract the children because kids all the time ask for money so tell them now they can generate their own money. It will be easy to make them earn their money.

It’s not easy task that kids will learn bitcoin easily first from the childhood we will make the mind of child about how to start working then after some time they will be able to work for bitcoin. It’s good for them because they will not go outside to make bad friends in society even they will start working from their childhood. If our kid is free we will start working for bitcoin he/she will ask about this and thus teaching about bitcoin will comes in practical.

I think it is before the age to teach them about bitcoin, because today the value of bitcoin is different and in their ages may be different from today. The affect in our lives, value, price all may differ from today. That’s why I think with the passage of time they will know everything about bitcoin as we knew bitcoin without certain teachings and having a platform for learning about bitcoin.

I think the things on how to teach kids about bitcoin is to explain first wahat is bitcoin. Explore more about bitcoin. Show an example or step by step on doing or making bitcoin. Discuss what are the benefits that the bitcoin gives to us. Share the advantages and disadvantages about bitcoin.

I think that is very hard to teach kids about something this hard because even if you teach them how to get bitcoins you can never teach them for what to sell them and how much to sell for something so like trading.

I think teaching bitcoin to a child is difficult and I think it's useless, let the child learn naturally so that when it comes to teenage time he'll get to know self.

I don't think they can learn it naturally because it is much better to teach them let open their minds to the possibilities just try to let them know forst and guide them if it wont works then try again after a months or a years.

Educating kids is an easy job rather than educating adults, because kids tend to learn quickly with lesser questions in mind and the questions which are raised can be answered.
Introducing a subject just like we have a subject for stock markets, having articles related to bitcoins occurring more often in the newspapers, magazines.
Kids can be divided into age groups for the articles because every age group has a certain interest of reading.
for eg kids in the age group of 5-10 bitcoins can be shown in the comics, 10-18 articles on bitcoins, then 18- onwards a subject regarding the same.

Kids (I hope you are speaking about teenagers), could be taught about bitcoins by expressing that it is a sort of currency. Try out to comprehend and then offer a summary of how the blockchain operates and how transactions are incorporated in blocks, and instruct them what is mining. These must be adequate complex information for them. If, then, they appear fascinated, you could continue to telling them about how to generate tiny bits of bitcoins, offered they are aged ample. Also, dont neglect to make them informed about Ponzi/cloud mining schemes and never make investments in any site that would seem way too great to be correct.

Teaching children on how about bitcoin is not easy. You have to educate the children about bitcoin. Tell them what is the purpose of it. Tell them the benefits of using bitcoin. In that way, children would be interested and they can save their financial status in the near future. They can have a better life at a young age and they can be independent their own way.

It's very taft guys. They are not able to understand bitcoin as a whole. It's a bit hard for kids to understand such concept. And I don't blame them. We can start teaching them very basic concepts in the start.
Well we also need to first consider how old these kids are, I mean if they are really kids like atleast 5 years old, so it is obvious that they will not understand it. But if these kids are like 13 years old atleast then there will a chance that they will have interest in these, I'm sure that they can understand it, but their attention and interest is the issue here.

i think the  best way to make them understand about bitcoins is by saying that bitcoin is another type of currency and it is not fiat like usd or any other curreny .it exits and it cant be felt and it  is  the  future and it has a lot of potential.
Children will not understand that what the the feeling of currency and then they will think that why it is impossible for bitcoin to unable to touch so it do not need to go to that much deep you can tell them simply that bitcoin is a digital currency and it is used for internet transactions. You can tell them that fiat is for offline stores and bitcoin is for online stores.
Of course. If you are explaining bitcoin to a kid at a deep or broad sense then they will just get confused, your idea is good that it should be introduce to them in its simplest way. Kids don't mind anyway so let us just keep as simple as that, let them see how you transact bitcoin in different ways so will discover it themselves.
I think chldren will not get confused if you will explain about the concept of bitcoin in the same way as we explain about other money to them they will also learn about it as they learn about money like fiat.
but i think that when we explain bitcoin to people we discuss it as a good source of income by investing money here and i think children do not need for this. they have no concern with investment and business. their parents and government are responsible to fulfill their needs. i think their most important job is to complete their education first and after that they should join trading and business etc.

I agree with you. Children about bitkoin need to be told in general terms. No need for details. Just say that there is such an alternative to fiat currency

I agree with you. If we are teaching our children about bitcoins we should teach them by showing to do the basics such as making web wallets and how to do a transaction. Teaching them the technicalities will bore the children and too much explanation will make them sleep. And so teach them how to collect from faucets so they will enjoy doing bitcoins and their interest will be triggered.
Well I agree to what you said. We must teach children in the simplest way because bitcoin is complicated but if you practise it to children they must learn first how to save and invest. You can relate playing and enjoying thing so they will not be stress out on what they are doing. Reminders we cannot force children to do something let them do what day like so that it is easy to teach them on their own will.

true that teaching kids about bitcoin would never be easy. you would undergo on a very long process like going back to the basic. if they really are still very young, today isnt the right time to tell them about bitcoin.we just have to wait for the perfect time to let them know how blessed they will be when entering to bitcoin. but then one thing is for sure, once they started it, they wont regret its benefits.

Personally, I think we should not teach kids about bitcoin because this could change their future, they can give up learning and focus on bitcoin, they follow a path that is unpredictable, if they fail, I will feel guilty. In addition, children are not mature enough in their thinking and perception, if we teach them about bitcoin, we will not get too many good results, so it is better that we should let fate lead the way for them, if they have the opportunity to learn about Bitcoin, we will teach them, and vice versa

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

In terms of teaching kids about appropriate money management lessons, I think kids (and even adults) could learn that in various games with the gameplay of working for earning and then spending to expand or improve in the game. For example, I got a general idea of earning and spending in the game Sims. I recalled choosing a job which pays a lot more while working for a shorter time compared to the one which requires to go to work for 12 hours. From what I earned, I bought furnitures and food, etc.

Or try doing a reward system in your household. You get to reward them with money, food, or more gadget time if they do certain house chores appropriate for their age. There they will understand how to labor for their money and it would have a greater value for them.

To allure them in the "internet money," maybe there are games about stock market or something similar. You can gauge how their understanding will be, and just build on anything after they have grasped the concept of this digital money.

The child's mind is more flexible and more simple than the minds of adults. That's why i believe that the kids these can affect bitcoin more. You just have to motivate them and teach them all the things they need to know and they will eventually be a help into the bitcoin community.

I'm not interested in teaching kids about bitcoin, let them play as usual in childhood. if they are taught about bitcoin, they will be difficult to socialize
Yes I have the same idea that kid are not suppose to learn bit coin because it will be not understandable to them as their studies are their first priority so should concentrate only o their studies and their parent are suppose to learn it and earn more and more money for their better future.

Well as I've said it depends on the kid's point of interest, they may know about this, but they may not have any interest at all. As we all know, kids now a day called 'Millennials' are very aggro and naive, so they might end up not taking this opportunity, because somehow most of these kids, their minds are very doubtful.

So basically what I am saying is, we could just partially teach them what Bitcoin is, because they'll eventually lean how to use it (being positive here), like Fiat, they've leaned it very early, they are even included in their education system, so I don't see any difference.

Maybe if bitcoin is already widely known and used by large countries in the learning curriculum can add knowledge of cryptocurency to be introduced from the beginning to the child
Bitcoin is popularity is increasing day by day and a day will come in the future that academics curriculum or some institute will start teaching about bitcoin which is the best way to of learning about bitcoins for kids.
