Well its going to be an interesting Australian test team going into this years Ashes series with a couple of shock selections. One of them being Tim Paine being picked as the Australian wicket keeper who's test career looked over and was even dropped by the Tasmania side. This is a shock decision by the selectors with many people upset with the decision so I just hope they made the right call as Australia do have other wicket keepers who have been performing much better then Paine. Shaun Marsh has also been given his 8th chance to prove himself at test level along with uncapped Western Australia teammate Cameron Bancroft. So its going to be an interesting looking Australian team heading into the 1st test in a few days time.

I think india vs Sri lanka match is heading towards to draw.Because both team played well and showed great recovery.India was bad at first innings but kept heads up in second innings.Day 4 already stumped and  lead by 49 runs and also 9 wickets in hand.If SL wants to win then they have to pick India's 9 wickets in a snap and bat again.And I think that's wont happen.

This is very difficult that SL can win from here now. Only thing now what is possible is only a draw test match. SL would have hoped to pick quick early wickets in 2nd innings of the match which dint happen due to which the match will end up in a draw now.

Even India have literally negligible chances for winning, only lead by 49 runs on Day 4. I won't think they will declare before leading to a good run. And its kind of impractical that anybody will win unless a miracle happens from either side.

Yes in one day i think it is impossible suppose if India made 100+ runs lead today then we can think about this but they made just 49 runs. and making speed runs on this pitch is not easy. you are right if the miracle happens then only India can win this game.

India came back very strong in the second innings and their run rate also very good in this second innings. But I don't think India will try to win this match instead they may use it as a batting practice match and play whole day or most of this last day. It is almost confirmed draw match unless as you said some miracle needs to happen to see any team to win this match. SL bowlers need to do some magic to take all the wickets in 40 overs then they will get around 50 overs to chase the runs but that is not going to happen.

Today India lost six-wickets quite fast and now they are leading by 159 runs and three wickets are remaining. The good thing is captain still playing. If SL can pick up the last three wickets quickly then they can try to do some magic win this match. Currently, the match is going towards a draw but very exciting to what happens.

India require 6 wickets to win the test match in around 20 overs left for the day. And SL require 173 runs to win in another 20 overs if they want to go for it. It will end up in a draw unless something changes in the course of time where either SL gets all out which seems little difficult now. But a good match overall with the short time span.

What a thrilling end to the game I thought India would win this game today but bad luck the weather not supported. Due to bad light, the game was stopped early and the match was draw. It's an advantage for Sri Lanka and disadvantage for the Indian team. Great bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar he took 4 wickets in just 11 overs and gave only 8 runs.

Many are blaming umpires for slow play and not letting Indians play for longer time but I guess this is the ideal result , SL played the first innings well and Indians the second .

Probably this test was full of natural restrictions, so bringing luck is not good. Both had there chance both played well.
But I would say Sri Lankan Bowling was helped my the rain in the 1st innings for which there opponent performed disastrously. I am not saying SL bowlers were bad, they are remarkable, but rain kind of helped them as well.

And the probability was to be a draw and it did, blaming low light and luck won't help. This match was full of natural restrictions. Mr. Pujara batted for all the 5 days, and made a record, now this is luck, if it didn't rained this might not have been possible.

Yes, that is correct. Both teams played a good cricket and this will give some confidence to SL players to go to the second test. Yesterday both teams last wickets quite fast because India also lost around seven wickets in less than 45 overs and SL last 8 wickets in less than 30 overs. The pitch was already fully supporting bowlers and batsman struggle to score runs. If rain was not their then someone might have won this match.

The main reason for the draw was because of rain and bad light most of the time wasted. India played really well in the 2nd innings both in batting and bowling department. Srilanka faced some nervy moments in the 5th day but managed to draw the match.

That's a great match between Sri Lanka and India. Though the first innings of India was played bad, it played the second innings in a much better way giving a good fight back. Finally India was in a verge to win the match and due to bad light scenario changed, else could have been a winning match for India.

Yes it will be an interesting Ashes series as like I have said both teams to me are evenly matched and any team can win the series however Australia as we know are tough to beat at home. Australia have a very good record playing in Brisbane as they haven't lost a test match there in a very long time and I think this will continue with either Australia winning or a draw only because of Australia's good record there. If my memory is correct, I believe its been over 30 years since Australia lost a test match in Brisbane. I think England can win elsewhere but maybe not here.

Australians have proved that they are the best at the homes and won't be easy for any team to defeat them at home but England team is also looking good at a moment and can give tough competition to Aussies and its surely gonna be interesting battle between ball and bat which will also include some high level of sledging from both the teams to distract the opponents.

At least in the Women's matches, England are doing well. In a T20 against Austria, the English women managed to overhaul a total of 178 with ease. They won with an over and 4 wickets to spare. Danielle Wyatt scored a century in 56 balls.
