That is why small countries have to make some concessions. Otherwise, this cricket organization will have nothing to do. If a match between India and Pakistan is still organized, there will be a scope to get a lot of revenue, which is the demand of everyone related to cricket, but if India is not one of the parties, then such a match cannot be organized. However, what I personally find is that if Pakistan can be stronger in cricket than India, then this solution is possible. I do not know what others think about this.

Brother after IPL now we have no ICC as International Cricket Council now we have this as Indian Cricket Council because huge funds going into pockets of big 3 so they are happy as things are moving around this they have never been fair for the cricket they are just doing their own work for having money.
Never expect we will have anything positive from them about cricket but still I am happy they have done good decision about ICC events which will be played in Pakistan and Indian for next 3 years because this is acceptable for all stakeholders with PCB is also one of the instable boards without any vision and solid strategy working under political influence.

India not visiting Pakistan is just because they never want to give any economical advantage to them in any case as mentioned if we have Indian cricket team in any country it's good for them and their economy but in case of Pakistan it's never been had any impact even Australians are facing loses due to low sale of tickets and other things related to them.

But, now ICC ended this debate and all problem with a good decision which is surely helpful for Pakistan because now they can claim win-win for them, but surely Indian are feeling not comfortable even they are having no lost with this decision as well we have two events for Pakistan and two for India in next few years.

Even though other teams are willing to play, India is not willing which is a very common issue, although there have been complaints about their security. However, if such a plan is made for both the countries, it will definitely be profitable. India is one of the leading countries in cricket. The biggest revenue of cricket comes from that country. If India plays with Pakistan maybe Pakistan can gain a little there, but India has nothing to lose, but still if they are not willing to play there, then of course a good solution is needed. If the events are divided equally between the two countries, then of course it should not be a problem for India and Pakistan. Hopefully, both the countries will be able to find a good solution for this.

We all know about this we have no security threat or any issue in Pakistan but in last 77 years we have no improvement in relationship between these countries with after radicals now in control all India they have never been feeling positive about Pakistan, so things like these will happen just because of this we have good decision by ICC as both will play on neutral places because this is suitable for them and with this ICC can have good funds and revenues through media rights as well.

India currently one of the countries which are doing good economic changes and with this their cricket team is also having good profitable for any country where they visit just because of this Indian authorities never want to give any economical incentive to Pakistan so they are not touring for bilateral tours and ICC events as well.

I don't know. Seems like a loss for them since they stand to gain big financial incentives whenever both teams clash in India though I could be wrong. Them succumbing to BCCI and ICC proves that they aren't on an equal plane.

Anyway, I am just glad to see this entire mess getting resolved as expected and am looking forward to both teams clashing in the future.

If India visits Pakistan for the Champions trophy, then at the most the PCB may gain a few million USD in terms of ticket sales and the Pakistani economy may get a slight boost in terms of hotel bookings and others. But that is minuscule when compared to the $34.51 million worth of funds that the PCB will receive every year from the ICC. The main point here is that same rules are applicable for both the BCCI and the PCB. India doesn't need to visit Pakistan, and similarly Pakistan don't need to visit India.

Haha, really. if the funds that are received by the ICC only matters, then no country need to visit any country. Why limit to Pakistan and India ? India don't need to Visit Australia, Australia dont need to come India, England should not visit Australia etc etc and still every board will receive its share

These (2025 Southeast Asian Games and 2026 Asian Games) are regional games, and as such doesn't have a lot of visibility outside the respective regions. But for the associate nations within these regions, they matter a lot. If cricket is included in these events, then automatically the national cricket boards become eligible to receive funds from the government. Cricket's inclusion to Olympics is going to be an earth-shattering event. But it should have happened two decades back, when Jagmohan Dalmiya made the request.

It gives a lot of exposure for cricket outside the traditional strongholds and smaller nations qualify for government funding as a result of it. But the new ICC leadership, by Jay Shah and others are taking a much more positive approach.

You are absolutely right. I think India vs is high voltage match and ICC will try to establish match between these two teams. Pakistan team is coming in good form because that team won the series against SA cricket team which is excellent win but Indian team should make hard work. Indian team has top quality batters and Pak team  has no player like Sky and Rohit Sharma and they need top quality result.Indian team is most favorite team for this team . Indian team is full of high quality players . Indians are bet Indian team which is altimate . Although they showed good performance against India women even in previous T20 Matches. Well It seems India women will win the match easily. let's see if West Indies women afford to score more than 100 runs or not.

Kotambi Stadium. West indies and India women both teams are good teams and have great experienced. India women scored 358/5 and won the match. west indies chased total runs for 243 and lost the match by 115. I hope West indies they will play better in the next match. India women is playing amazing in both tournaments odi and T20. From my side West indies didn't play the match very well made very few runs and lost. The best bowling performance in India team was by Priya Mishra bowled 9.2 over and conceded 49 runs and took 3 wickets. Congratulations to India women for their upcoming matches.

Funding from government matters for the smaller countries, because the ICC never supports them. 40% of the annual funding from the ICC goes to a single national board (BCCI), and another 49% goes to the remaining 11 full member nations. The 100+ associate nations receive just around 11% of the funding. Asian teams are slightly better, because they receive additional funding from the ACC (in case of Nepal, this is almost 3x higher than the funds they receive from the ICC).

Until very recently, BCCI was the main obstacle in including cricket in Olympics. But once Jay Shah and Anurag Thakur took over the administration, this opposition was removed. Shah was one of the biggest supporters of Olympic inclusion of cricket, and he made sure that cricket will be a part of the 2028 Olympic games. This margin was huge for Markor because they kept playing so much throughout the Chapman Cup and coming to the last match they lost this match by a huge margin. They should have played hard and fast because they are also a good team but  Playing with some pressure and slow pace led them to defeat and this defeat was not an ordinary match defeat this was a whole Champion Cup defeat in which they were working hard and would lose the match because of one small mistake. STA's batsmen and bowlers have played very well, their batting has shown speed and their bowling has shown pressure which has lost the match for the opposition team.  Congratulations to the STA team for this win and also for winning the Champion Cup as they have achieved a huge win that Markor wanted to achieve but was unable to achieve.

You are missing the point. I am perfectly aware of the fact that there is a humungous cricket audience out there, but almost all of them don't watch cricket events in these kinds of events barring the Olympics.

Also, popular cricketers already have a fully stacked schedule throughout the year which is why it's a lot tougher for them to spare time for these events.

I don't agree with your points. The intention is not to get people to watch cricket. In case cricket is included in events such as Olympics, Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games, then the national cricket boards will qualify for additional funding from the government. And at the moment it is required, because the ICC hardly allots any funding to the lower ranked associate nations. And secondly, "popular cricketers" are not needed to participate in such events. When we talk about Southeast Asian Games, we are talking about countries such as Indonesia and Thailand. So the topic about "popular cricketers" is completely irrelevant.
