This has been the problem with most of the teams which have been underperforming recently and if we find the root cause, usually their cricket board has problems and due to this they have player selection issues and then overall their team performs lower than their capability.

Now, I will tell you which country had the most trophies in men's cricket so you know the good teams are usually consistent. The Australian team had five ODI World Cups, and until this time, 13 ODIs World Cups were played and from Australian team had 5 trophies of this ODI World Cup, and not only ODI trophies they also had a test championship and two champions trophies and T20 World Cup that they won in 2021.

Their team is not good in the T20I format but in ODI no one can beat them easily because their team can easily beat a team that wins all the matches of the World Cup in the final or Semi-Final. In 2023, as they beat India in the final, and they also beat the Pakistan team in 2021 World Cup in 2021 World Cup, when the Pakistan team won all matches and they beat them in the semi-final when the Pakistan team beat India, New Zealand and they won against India with 10 wickets and Pakistani bowlers stopped Indian batsmen to make more than runs than 151, but Australian stopped Pakistan team journey in semi-final.

Rameez Raja was the one who got a good media rights deal for the PSL and brought in tons of revenue for the PCB. Also, he negotiated with the PSL franchises and came up with a formula for sharing the revenue that was acceptable for all the parties. But then all of a sudden, he was replaced with the incompetent Najam Sethi. I just hope that the new government will bring back Rameez after replacing all those incompetent people who were installed after him. He can lead the PCB to a new direction which benefits everyone.

Apart from Rameez, no other Chairman has a cricketing background. They have recently appointed a politician (who was interim Chief Minister of some Pakistani province) as Chairman of PCB, what a joke

There is some bad news for the ICC. They were ecstatic, after Disney Star won the bidding rights for the 2024-27 media rights cycle for a massive amount of $3.04 billion. Now all of this is in doubt, because of two developements. First of all, Zee has informed Disney that they won't honor their agreement with them:

I don't know how many of you have read this news or how many of you know about it or how you feel about this news but I really like this news. I am a Bangladeshi and I am certainly proud to be a cricket lover as an umpire from my country has been included in ICC's Elite Panel umpire list for the first time.

Sharfuddoula is the first Bangladeshi umpire to achieve this honour. There are many umpires in the ICC but a certain amount of skilled umpires can make it to the Elite Panel where Sharfuddoula has made it. Many congratulations to Brother Sharfuddoula as he has brought success and fame to the country along with his own success.

Afghan Cricket Association has taken some drastic steps it seem. They have released a number of their most experienced players from the central contracts, including Shapoor Zadran, Dawlat Zadran, Samiullah Shinwari, Mohammad Shahzad and Aftab Alam. Some of them have been representing Afghanistan for close to 2 decades. Mohammad Nabi is the only one from the old gang, who still has a contract with the ACA. It maybe good news as well, as more younger players will be getting the contracts.
