Bitcoin is rising in power and demand. Price has been going upward over the last month. This is a very good sign and might be a future successor of fiat currency. I think it would definitely replace the dollar real soon.  Smiley

I dont think the BTC market cap raising to 100 Trillion USD is going to happen "real soon", or anytime soon, but the current price is a good nudge toward profitability. A couple more 100% raises in value and it might overtake Paypal and others as the "internet currency".

Working with the middle class people can replace currency. In the meantime, for the production bitcoint, you have to be a miner. At MMM was a good idea to replace the dollar.

What?  I don't understand what you are trying to say, are you saying you can replace the middle class currency, but in the meantime you have to be a miner to change the currency?

No.

Bitcoin will not be replacing the dollar anytime soon and you definitely don't have to be a miner
Haha Lol you know leex about they say ?
he say about MMM,
MMM is not money, can't to replace dollar
you can find in google leex this is a like ponzi and hyip

What are you even talking about?  I am trying to understand your post but I really can't?  What is MMM?  I have no idea what MM is and you have terrible grammar and spelling:(

I belive the value of bitcoin will go up and the value of other currencies will go down. Both at high speeds. If the governments wait too late they won't be able to afford the attack if their dollars become almost worthless.

The value of bitcoin has already started to go up over a period of time. But we want that the price of bitcoins should be more stable rather then going up an down, and I don't think that bitcoins can replace dollar so easily, Still it will take a time to replace it and it totally depends on the adoption and acceptance of the people for the bitcoins.

People do not get that we need hard labor or any jobs for that matter, only because U.S Federal Reserve issues bonds, which it promises to pay back with interest with the taxpayers money. We here in the crypto world call that a ponzi scheme.

If bitcoin goes mainstream in the future, it would be the singularity of money. That means we would not need to work for money, money will start working for us. It would be the next step to a resource based society. And by then we would be exploring other stars and all other cool stuff.

How will our money work for us?  Please elaborate, if Bitcoin ever did become the mainstream currency which I highly doubt it will.  It would be no different than what we currently are doing except we would be getting paid with Bitcoin instead.

At first it would be just like regular money, like today, bitcoin is like usd only exception is that it is like super money and you can send it anywhere instantly. But Fiat money is based on debt, that we borrow from the future. It has to be payed regardless of what happens. What if we don't have debt, what if every product on the market will be competing for the same bitcoin.(unlike current monetary system where we need to stimulate the market by creating more debt). I think that every ones life will get gradually better(because every product has to be innovative) until to the point where we would not need to go to work. First examples are with bitcoin casinos. You can be the investor or you can play against the investor. If we can make more alike smart programs like that. Maybe an ad service like google only it pays dividends to the end user not to the site. I'm sorry if you didn't understand a word I said. It's just my vision of bitcoin, feel free to bash on it as much as you like. I can take it.

De facto: Yes

De jure: No

Obviously the central bank will never admit bitcoin, because its a direct antithesis to them. But if the people want it, they will use it nontheless.

No, people will never have to stop working to earn cash.  It is literally not possible or plausible for people to not be working and having a steady income.  If everyone was as you say the investor, then no one would be gambling because everyone has it invested.  So no.  Wrong

If Bitcoin does go mainstream, the early adopters will be rich, very rich.
The late adopters will be paid Satoshis, while the early adopters could buy Greek islands and retire for life.  Smiley

That was just an example, bitcoin casinos are just the first platform, that this is used widely. By all means if you want to earn more money in the future you have to work for it. But in my opinion to get food on the table should not need to do anything. If you want to live a more luxurious life you would need to create a program that earns for you or something like that. If kimdotcoms meganet launches hosting a internet site would cost nothing, so we could create a ad service that pays to the endpoint user. So you would be payed just to surf the web. I know that you cant be a millionaire by just watching ads, but if we could make a non scam platform(that means one payout address per user) we could make a living just by surfing the web. But in my opinion there will be many more platforms like casinos in the near future and that ad service idea is like 15-20 years ahead of our time.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

Nope. I very doubt government will want to relinquish control...

As a sub currency it could gain mainstream use but i think there will be much blood before BTC replace the Dollar.
Highly unlikely that virtual currency will replace hard cash in our life time at least. If there is extensive global consensus then maybe, but that too does not seem possible. The government would not let go of their control for any other reason.

How soon? In 20 years, bitcoin will replace US dollar as the largest reserve currency if bitcoin is still there. But bitcoin will not replace USD for very long time.

if this last crisis didn't put a dent on the whole reign of $, how can you even think that fiat will ever collapse

it will not , bitcoin can at best play a big role along side with it

Exactly, governments will never let this happen. I don't understand how people don't understand this. Wars will be fought before any government gives up a control over their money!

"Replace the Dollar" isn't necessary for huge success. Bitcoin simply needs to be a viable option for people wanting to avoid the horrible effects of inflationary fiat currency.

The monopoly of banks, fees and lack of privacy, but even more the usabillity is what makes btc the 2.0 currency. Will it be soon? I don't think so. Sending and receiving money should be made very easy. Also the reversal process of a wrong payment (which is impossible) scares a lot of people.
