i think that it might replace the dollar pretty soon to be honest, there are no reasons why, if the interest of people will grow bitcoin will surely have more power

the growth in interest will also push the price up thus allowing ordinary people to make more money and attract even more investors to this wonderful currency

Dollar enjoys the support from the world, and people have more faith in dollar in compare to bitcoin, and I think the scenario would be the same in future too.

I don't think so that bitcoin will replace dollar. Since dollar is more appropriate to use and all people the world known dollar although bitcoin may support dollar and can be converted to dollar, but it can be called as the 2nd currency for dollar.

No I do not think the dollar will be replaced anytime soon by the bitcoin because the dollar is simply a step to big to take over by the bitcoin.
I also think this will take years over years to even try this, many banks will also stop this in my opinion.
Plus the last problem is also that the bitcoin is good but the banks are also gonna be fully digital and be something like a coin in my prediction.
It will replace it sooner, the banks already preffering the digital system, just think about ATM, and dollar will be replaced as only USA is supporting dollar while bitcoin is supporting from a all over the world.
Bitcoin is getting now more popular indeed, but there are also a lot of people that is now still using Dollar and they never heard of Bitcoin and that must change in a fast time if you want to replace it.
We must dont change it in that fast time, the value of Bitcoin is also now not the best value that Bitcoin have.

the banks will never embrace bitcoin because they have no control over it like the control they have over fiat. bitcoin was created to replace banks.

and about your "banks preferring digital system" comment, i think you mean the news about banks working on blockchain, which has nothing to do with bitcoin and they are just working on their own altcoin with separate blockchain technology.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

He didn't really specify what kind of dollar it is. So that is a big problem.

If you want to replace dollar you will be hitting so many countries. Take a look.

Dollar (often represented by the dollar sign $) is the name of several currencies, including those of Australia, Belize, Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Namibia, New Zealand, Singapore, Suriname, Taiwan, the United States, and previously Zimbabwe. The U.S. dollar is the official currency of East Timor, Ecuador, El Salvador, Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, the Caribbean Netherlands, and for banknotes, Panama. Generally, one dollar is divided into one hundred cents.

-credits to Wikipedia.

So you want to replace the currency of all those countries? That is a hard task to do. You cant even make them talk to each other if they have different language.

Well bitcoin has no power to remove any currencie soo forget that thing, bitcoin its a potencial investment with high pontencial risk and reward.

Indeed, I'm thinking the same thing, I do not think its gonna win from the bitcoin, the bitcoin is even depending on the fiat so that already says enough.
I overall think it could not be reached, its just too much for the bitcoin itself in my opinion.
yeah bitcoin is currently still have to rely on a fiat to the survival of bitcoin itself. rate on the dollar for bitcoin is still the best thing in priority moreover bitcoin is still not so well known and yet mainstream. so the strength of bitcoin is not so great
for bitcoin still depend on fiat I doubt bitcoin can do it
Yes, currently bitcoin is too young to establish like US dollar, Bitcoin need the support of some major powers, after that I think it will have capability to defeat dollar.

No I do not think this will happen because the bitcoin is still too small to win from the dollar itself and its too big.
The dollar is too big and also because too many are dependable on it it will not happen, all stockings are depending on it so, the answer will be no.

Well I'm thinking the opposite, the bitcoin just has so much advantages, its self controllable and also very easy to use so I think it can take over the dollar.
The bitcoin will be larger than ever and I think people will believe in the bitcoin.

That is impossible as long as bitcoin is decentralized. The Euro and the Dollar have ridiculously larger market caps and bitcoin can in no way replace them, even if for some reason the governments can't do anything about it. And they can do everything about it.

That's why Bitcoin can be seen as the great alternative for people that like to fully own something instead of being a slave of the governments and banks.

If Bitcoin taking over another fiat currency means that there is no decentralization anymore, then I seriously hope Bitcoin will stay as it is right now. An alternative to fiat money.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

well don't know if this will happen in 5 or 15 years, but im pretty sure that in the end this will happen, maybe not to replace the dollar or euro or any other currency you want, but bitcoin could have the same as importance current currencies in next years.
in the end everything depend of the people, if we adopt it, bitcoin cant be stopped.

It will not happen soon mate, you can see indeed that Bitcoin is becoming popular in use but it can not replace Dollar now because there are a lot of people is still using Dollar.
It is only possible after some 15 years if Bitcoin is doing good and that we keep it promoting so the chance will be higher that more people will going to use it, it is their own choice.
Yeah to many people are still using the Dollar. Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular, but for Bitcoin to take over the dollar is has to become more popular and more used then the dollar and that is not the case.
In the digital world it already has defeated dollar, now everyone on internet who come to know about bitcoin readily adopt bitcoin for their transactions and other purchases etc.

Not really replacing but maybe a good alternatives of Dollar? Previously when we trade virtual goods people only accepted paypal skirll and etc, but now most people are accepting btc and give discount if you paid btc which shows that btc is a really good currency to be paid with.
