Dollar is a national currency of USA for sure but its popularity is not only limited to USA only, if you travel the world you will come to know how popular dollar is and same doesn't goes with bitcoin. |

I already saw a topic similar to this one. Well, bitcoin will not replace dollar because it only acceptable in the internet and not in the reality. If bitcoin will do it paper money or something coins, then that is the time bitcoin will be accepted by everyone.
I disagree with you mate, even without printed paper form, bitcoin is acceptable in some places in groceries, just look for that video of a couple shoot last 2013 who did a shopping at a grocery and they use bitcoin as payment...By that, I could tell that bitcoin would be an alternative money even in real life... As compared to 2013, now in 2016 bitcoin is more common now and also more people know about it and have adopted bitcoin for their daily life. So, we can say Bitcoin started replacing dollar, the completion will be sooner than expected. |

I think it will have its own currency cause there are jobs that requires dollars and that would make dollar very indemand and other countries can wage war with that.

Replacing the dollar bitcoin will not happen bitcoin is young and it has few users in the whole world while dollar is used by many people and fiat is way stronger that bitcoin.

Dollar is a national currency of USA for sure but its popularity is not only limited to USA only, if you travel the world you will come to know how popular dollar is and same doesn't goes with bitcoin. Yes I also dont think so that Bitcoin will replace Dollar, as you can see now you see that the Dollar is many used now around this time by many people so you cant replace it. Advertisements and social media helps more for people to see it. They even pay for a share in facebook or twitter. But that doesnt mean they want to replace dollar. Just making it stronger. |

I honestly don't think it'll happen, certainly not in 15 years... In 100 years maybe?
I believe that it will never happen the dollar has just been around for a too long time and the fact that US is involved is not making it easier. The US would not allow to let an Asian currency take over. |

i will believe this,because the one that said this is CEO of Coibase  i love coinbase,and i think this is possible,in 15 years bitcoin will replace dollar soon,can't wait for this era come to my country. |

On the field on internet I have doubt that it will replace the dollar as I have saw a number of people are loving bitcoin and I have saw that a number of people who are relying on paypal for their earnings and their purchases are now working with bitcoin.

Correct. I got some friends that are now using bitcoins instead of paypal. Hell they even took some of their USD at paypal to invest in bitcoin. I guess I got them hooked even for a little talk and some stories. |

That's not relevant people can't pay there rent with a coin or something that's why Dollars always will be there.

Thats impossible because bitcoin cant be the same as the level of USD in world wide. The USD is always use in forexmarket around the world so this is impossible dude. And this fiat is always use in daily expenses and the bitcoin you cant use it directly in many establishmet so for me we need fiat so that we can convert the bitcoin into real money that we need. |

No, dollar has its own fixed roots in the market and bitcoin is much younger for that to compete dollar, so i will say that bitcoin will take a lot of time and a lot of development in order to be able to replace dollar.

i think it will replace it, but not in next 15 years for sure, as changing currency to bitcoin will take lots of time,as people still don't really trust bitcoin but yes it will to bitcoins as it have huge potential to be world wide currency, at worst it will be main alternative currency in lots of countries 15 years may be too fast. bitcoin could replace the dollar within a short time, but how people will respond to it. it might lead to very many controversies that occurred |
