bitcoin can't replace the dollar until people stop exchanging their bitcoin into dollars
Even if people will stop exchanging, some compare system will be needed for bitcoin anyway. Bitcoin can't really replace dollar anyway and it's true. It is true that bitcoin cannot replace dollar but it is not correct that for bitcoin as a standard to be compared with dollar is compulsory, when bitcoin become a most stable currency then people will make bitcoin as a standard and then bitcoin will itself a standard for other currencies. There is a possibility because bitcoin is not controlled by the government, its decentralization features likely to attract more people plus they can easily track their disbursements and receipts looking at the public ledger. It US will go cashless this will gives us good option. It will not replace soon and that is because they can see that there are a lot of people that is getting to love Bitcoin because they want to make some profit of course and that is perfect. But you never know what will happen with Bitcoin but it will replace maybe in the future. |

The bitcoin is getting many more publicity after a long time but will it replace the dollar soon?
I don't think he will because there are to many people with allot of dollars it can be but if that happens
it will be 20000 years later.
do not be too think too far 20000 years? I do not think the age of the earth reaches for it? I agree with you though bitcoin increasingly popular and began to be known by many people. but I do not think bitcoin users will exceed the user of dollars |

No I think that it is not going to happen the US Dollar has been around for to long and it belongs to one of the most powerful countries if not the most powerful. So I do not think that it is going to be possible. |

Yeah you are right replacing dollar by bitcoin is really not possible, but for bitcoin there is chances that it become a global currency and dollar come back to its home land USA, but dollar will still remain there. |

Yeah you are right replacing dollar by bitcoin is really not possible, but for bitcoin there is chances that it become a global currency and dollar come back to its home land USA, but dollar will still remain there. Actually, bitcoin and dollar can get along together though. So this 2 currencies Bitcoin and dollar become popular and bitcoin no need to replace dollar. |

In the short to medium term, we should target to establish Bitcoin as a currency which is acceptable to a large part of the world population. Our targets must be realistic. Overtaking gold and USD is not going to happen in the near term. The US dollar didn't became the world reserve currency overnight. It became the reserve currency of the world, more than 150 years after it was first printed.

It wont replace soon and that is because you also can see that Dollar is still many used by many people and that is not that bad because they dont know what Bitcoin is and that must change.
People that is using Bitcoin have to promote the coin more so more people will get to know about it and maybe also going to use it.

Actually dollar is accepted in almost every country. I mean you could easily exchange dollar on local currency almost everywhere. Bitcoin on the other hand is not so easy to exchange. But I agree with you that in the future Bitcoin has better chances than dollar to become the global currency, because I think Bitcoin will be more trusted in the future than dollar.
Well in my country exchanging bitcoin to our fiat currency is just one click away. Also same with other countries. I don't like the idea of bitcoin becoming the global currency. It will just give it's own exchange rate to our fiat currency directly. It's still better to only have a USD to Bitcoin exchange rate compare to own currency to bitcoin exchanges. It's a big help for those country that dollar has higher price in terms of conversion. |

Most people will definitely rely on the physical currency because they have assurance that they hold it and use it easily. Unlike digital they must be educated first and know the basic things about bitcoins. You are right, majority will still use to choose dollar since the beginning when people heard dollar, it already means power to US. |
