Not soon but...Bitcoin could become an extremely popular alternative. If it becomes a speculative coin on a global scale then GOD knows where the would end up

I don't think it will happen in a few decades. I might be slowly adopted by the mass and coexist with dollar unless America falls into great recession and ppl are dumping dollar.

Right now, Bitcoin can only be seen as a commodity, instead of actually replacing fiat currencies such as the dollar. It is like Gold, Silver and other precious metals. I think that Bitcoin would best work with fiat altogether. Just my opinion.

I don't think it will happen any sooner unless any regulation is put on bitcoin by the governments. Without any regulation the governments will lose all its control over economy. I am sure that cryptocurrency is the future but not so early. Maybe in the 22nd century.

I don't think so, at least not soon
maybe 30+ years from now, if the bitcoin replaces the dollar, that means that the whole world will be affected by it
And seeing as some countries don't allow bitcoins, it will take a long while

I don't think bitcoin can replace dollar soon. Althought it can, government won't let it happened. Maybe bitcoin will be an alternative way beside of dollar in 20-30 years from now when bitcoin system is secure enough to handle worldwide transaction.

Right now, Bitcoin can only be seen as a commodity, instead of actually replacing fiat currencies such as the dollar. It is like Gold, Silver and other precious metals. I think that Bitcoin would best work with fiat altogether. Just my opinion. yes sir I agree. And BTC can't replace dollar sooner or later. If that happen all daily life will change in blink of an eye for short time from now. Maybe it will happen replacing btc to usd step by step to change everything of course not only currencies will take some changes I'm sure some of companies can take effect if sooner or later btc own usd for short time from now. I think btc can't replace dollar soon. But btc can replace little by little changing in our life until the whole world know about it and all people using for buying, yes some of markets are using but not all. But when the time comes people using btc for selling and buying and also for daily life maybe that is the time I'm gonna say btc owns dollar.

I seriously doubt that Bitcoin will replace Dollar, espacially that this will happen soon, but I think that pretty soon Bitcoin will be accepted as any hard currency everywhere in the world.

bitcoin is passing the best way to replace dollar all it need it more people to know it and start to use it too so it can replace but this way is too long andd bitcoin need to passe slowly maybe in 20 years who know but if it will continu like that bitcoin will replace it for sure Cannot be never true. Nether today and nor after 20 years. Even ever. First because it is not possible to cover all the needs of USA in currency. Us dollar is world money. It is produced having in mind the use and the being monetary reserve of most of the countries all over the world. Bitcoin is not able to play such role. Are few bitcoin and fore are limited. The economies growth (normally) every year and this mean new money in every world country economy. This is the first reason. The second is that USA cannot accept to have as national currency a currency which is not own by those. Bitcoin decentralized and owned by no one. And it will be so always. So no any chance that be adopted as a national currency from USA. It is for sure that will be used besides us dollar as it will happen already. But this is the final step of bitcoin in the monetary world of USA.

I don't think the bitcoin will replace the dollar.
Unless the government takes it over, which I doubt
It would give them way too much control over bitcoin

If the New World Order is coming, they would probably use Bitcoin as the global currency, and as a result this will replace old fashioned fiat currencies such as the dollar. Do you believe this would happen?

Maybe over 20 or 50 year .
But really soon I don't think so. Maybe they will just accept. BTC.
Replacing is just another level.

If the New World Order is coming, they would probably use Bitcoin as the global currency, and as a result this will replace old fashioned fiat currencies such as the dollar. Do you believe this would happen? What do you mean with New Order? Anyhow, any kind of order can be this kind of order you mean this will not unite all the countries in one country and if it will happen (totally impossible) yet bitcoin cannot be its currency. First of all because there are not enough bitcoin to cover all the needs of the economy of such kind of super-country. If your New order will not merge the countries any country will accept to have such coin as a national currency for the simple reason (I am telling only one which is enough) because they cannot own it. And any country will accept to have as national currency a currency which don't own.

First of all because there are not enough bitcoin to cover all the needs of the economy of such kind of super-country.
The number of units converges to 2.1 * 10^14. How is this not enough? You need more divisibility? Then start trading micro-satoshi if you need to. Anyway, economy has no hard need for exchange commodities. We need food clothing and shelter, not bitcoin. Where to begin here? If your New order will not merge the countries any country will accept to have such coin as a national currency for the simple reason (I am telling only one which is enough) because they cannot own it. And any country will accept to have as national currency a currency which don't own.
Go tell that to all countries that ever existed prior to 1971 when the grand fiat experiment was officially begun. "No countries will ever allow their citizens to exchange commodities" wtf??!?? because Bush Sr. doesn't own all rice fields means we will never eat rice?
