It looks like it will be, but I don't see their tempo going to change. Perhaps what is increasing is the increasingly balanced competition. That will make the match even more interesting. Perhaps at the moment I see Rome to move up the fold better.  They are very active in the transfer market. It's possible that they can get into the top 5 at the end of the season. AS Roma is the club that i will follow with excitement in Serie A this season. They formed a good squad with experienced coach Jose Mourinho. I think they have completed their shortcomings in the offensive line. They did not become champions in the league for many years and i think they are ready now. This season, we will watch matches with high contention and struggle in the league. The Italian league requires it anyway. I'm looking forward to next week.

They did not spend too much time for friendly tournament and did not waste time for travelling around the world. Mourinho wanted their players focus on training nearly Italy and improve themselves rather than wasting time, energy and resoruces for unnecessary things that can not help them to end in top four or to win Scudetto next season.

This strategy of Mourinho in this summer makes AS Roma becomes a very big hidden team in Serie A. They are really ready to beat top clubs for fop 4 and if the new season goes well, they get enough luck, they can dream for Scudetto. It is difficult but is not something impossible and unreachable.

I think they do not have enough talent to keep this going, if they had it then we would be seeing it but being top 2-3 in Serie A next year? Even with Mourinho, they will not be able to achieve that. I guess they would want that but they would probably not get that at all.

This is why I am trying to see how they could get better but it looks like a lot more transfers are the only way to do that. At the very least they are training hard, meaning that they will be ready when the league starts, because whoever has a great start at the first weeks of the season, will have a bigger advantage when we are getting closer to last few weeks as well so this is important.

Basically Juventus' performance declined after its dominance was taken over by Inter and Milan in two consecutive seasons but even so, Juventus can still be in the top four in those two bad seasons. So that way, Juventus will always have a chance to win the title and with the changes made in this transfer window I personally strongly believe that Juventus will be the team that might come back to take over that dominance. Regarding Roma, I am also a little optimistic that they seem to have a very big new motivation after Dybala's arrival. Maybe, Mourinho will be able to maximize Dybala's abilities at Roma, we will not know for sure the result but at least they always have big ambitions to be able to compete in the title race.

If Juventus can do good in bad shape with having every time spot into last four which is good achievement for them with this now they are improving quality and doing some good positive changes for next season which can surely give them good result, and now we have three-way race for title in coming season with still both Milan teams are in good shape and Juventus is also doing good.

Roma could be Dark horse for next season because they achieve good result in last season against all odds, and now they are also well-developed with Mourinho doing good some and Dybala is going to be good plus for them if he is able to transform them into good shape then surely we can expect some good and extraordinary result from them, and they can settle at top very strongly because few other teams in Serie A are struggling badly.

For the course of Serie A, it looks like it will run more competitively than last season.
