You bring up good point about when Dortmund changed their coach. It is easy to look back and think that if they had done it sooner when they started losing much they might be in better spot now. It is also interesting that maybe it would be better if they did not qualify for Champions League next season. You think that may make them want to play better and focus more on league games. That way they may have better chance of winning league title next time. Sometimes when things do not go well it gives chance to people to work harder. It would be different for Dortmund if they were not in Champions League. They could put all their energy into games in their own country. We do noy know if that would make them win league but it is good idea about how they could get more focused.

With only one match left for them to play to mark the end of the season, they are in fifth place on the table with only one point separating them and the team on the fourth place and only three points separating them with the team in third place with goal advantage in their favour. They will only just try and win their last match while hoping that any of this two team loses their last match or finish in a draw. The league fight for the champions league spot is really tough as we see the fight reign him the last day of the competition.

I don't remember where I read this, but I heard Sahin was hired because the board feels he understands the culture and whatnot[1]. While the emotional aspect of football is important, they do need other things to back it up. Hoping someone to be another Jurgen Klopp is a bit unrealistic, too. CMIIW.

If Dortmund had shown such good performance in the last few seasons, if they could have shown such performance a few matches ago, then maybe we would have seen this team in the second position of the point table now. You're right, I didn't even realise it earlier, Frankfurt too is fighting for themselves and as such they mustn't lose to Frieburg by all means, at least a draw will be very much ok for them. The point difference between them and Dortmund is 3 points and if eventually Frankfurt loses to Frieburg then they will be tied on points with Dortmund if Dortmund beats Holstein Kiel which is certain from all indications. So either was Dortmund will qualify if they can beat Holstein Kiel with at least 2 goals and above.

As for Leverkusen, once they change their coach, I believe their performance will remain the same with their current squad. However, if they bring in more quality players, it could greatly help them. Still, I think the new coach taking over from Xabi Alonso may have the chance to give Bayern Munich a tough time.Since Bayern has won the Bundesliga now, they may aim to sign more quality players to strengthen their squad.
