I think we're very lucky to have witnessed Leverkusen lift the trophy last season in a way no one could have imagined. They won the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal undefeated. The only disappointment we remember was their loss in the Europa League Final.

it's not easy for teams to replicate performance that they had the previous season because alot of factors will come in like lost of form injuries and others so for Leverkusen I find it not strange that they where not able to replicate what they did last season because this season where not their season and we are could see that from the start of this season most of their key players where where not fit

Unfortunately, in the last few matches of Xabi in Leverkusen, it did not produce good results. In the last 3 matches, Leverkusen actually only got 2 defeats and 1 draw. They were lucky to enjoy the best of Xabi Alonso, now that his time is over, i think they might be returning to where they always end up in past seasons. Bayern Leverkusen has not always been the bad side that finishes bottom in their league, you can always find them among the top six teams in every season, but what could be their chances of winning the Bundesliga title like they did previously before Bayern Munich lifted their trophy recently. Dortmund should be working on their performance quickly since Leverkusen might be having an imbalance as they will lose both the manager and important starting player of the team, all benefits Bayern Munich to win it again.

Ademola Lookman not on Bayern Munich wish list although I agree Ademola is not a bad choice, they instead targeted Xavi Simons from Leipzig but the problem still the same there are competitors from Premier League teams and reportedly Arsenal or Liverpool are the closest so Munich must turn their attention to other players. It must be admitted this season many clubs are looking for players in the Attacking Midfielder or Winger positions meaning it will impact the release price, my suggestion just wait for the next season.

I just found information regarding the players on Munich's list yeah at least 7 players there and the total budget reaches 330 million but I'm sure only a few players will be brought in. Jonathan Tah is probably the closest to being recruited with free transfer status.

Ademola Lookman could be good choice for Bayern Munich if they do not get Wirtz. He is flexible player who can score goals and he is better deal money wise. In today market where prices can go crazy it is smarter to look for players who offer good value and can adapt even if they are not biggest names. Team like Bayern needs players who can play well consistently and someone ability to stay healthy and contribute all season is just as important as how talented they are.

Bayern are used to getting the best players for free or cheap, the Kane case was a super breakthrough for them, but I'm not at all sure they are ready to continue in the same spirit. I am 100% sure that they will not pay such a price and will wait until the player himself wants to come to them in order to lower the price or they will look for an alternative, but in modern football this does not work, so he will pass by Bayern.
