Unfortunately, in the last few matches of Xabi in Leverkusen, it did not produce good results. In the last 3 matches, Leverkusen actually only got 2 defeats and 1 draw. I don't think that Xabi's focus has been divided and the players are quite disturbed by Xabi's departure. But they should be much more professional. Yes, that's it, Leverkusen's season ending with Xabi finally only drew, because they were hit by a comeback by Mainz in the 63rd minute due to a penalty kick by Burkadt.

But the saddest thing is Xabi's farewell to Leverkusen this time, in the last match. And Xabi has broken the record of never losing an away match during his tenure in the last two seasons as Leverkusen coach.

I am pretty sure Leverkusen will start to be much worse. Not because they will be "bad" but they have become unbelievable with him and after he leaves, reaching this level would be impossible. A great example is this record, for 2 seasons, he has absolutely no loss on away games and that should tell you all you need to know about him.

When someone is that good, you are not going to get a better result at all, and you should not get a worse situation by being terrible, you become worse by even being good, because good is worse than great and they were great. One thing missing was Europe, because they lost the finals at Europa and they didn't do well at UCL this season, that should tell you what you need to know about Xabi and UEFA.

As people watch Bayern Munich do it back to back each season for the past years they also had similar expectations with Leverkusen forgotten that Leverkusen hasn't mastered the art yet. They were just lucky from their hardwork which paid off last season leaving them with an unbeaten record to winning the bundesliga which was something interesting as Bayern Munich constant uninterrupted championship almost made the league seem boring for a lot of fans. I think Leverkusen still has a chance to try again next season after finishing second this season.

Well done to Eintracht, 3rd place is a good result. They really went for it in their last game against Freiburg and won 3-1 despite playing away.

The end of this campaign is amazing, it was a great season for all teams, and the best team won the title which is amazing; and the German Bundesliga giants are back on track.

Congratulations once again to Bayern Munich, they played well as team and the new coach and the players did well to make sure they regain back their victory and their fans are happy because they are back on track.

However, Eintracht Frankfurt did well in their last match because they are in a verge of losing their position when they were losing 1-0 against Freiburg; the comeback was massive and they are happy to maintain their third position.

But the real hero of the last few weeks is Borussia Dortmund, what a flawless finish to the season. Looking at their 4th position, it's hard to believe that they had moments when things were so bad that some were speculating they might be at risk of relegation. I guess Niko Kovac deserves credit for setting them straight.

Dortmund is the hero of the last few weeks, they show their dictation of playing in the Champions despite the fact that they had a bad season; they did well to make it to the Champions League which is very good, but they need to improve against next season because they need to make sure they sign some quality players to strengthen their squad.

Freiburg thought it was going to be an easy one to secure a champions League spot for the club, but Frankfort wasn't an easy opponent.
I think the ULC for Freiburg was a bit too much of a stretch, Europa League is more realistic.
I would have liked to see Freiburg in the Champions League, but unfortunately they do not deserve to be in champions league after all, they were not serious in their performance on the pitch.

Despite Marmoush's departure, Frankfort still managed to finished third. A strong performance from this young squad. For me, this was the best Bundesliga season in Eintracht's history because they managed it as underdogs, and not as favorites like back in the 90s.
Frankfort really did a good job, a very big congratulations to Eintracht Frankfurt fans on the team's qualification for next season's Champions League.

Jobe right now plays in the playoffs against Coventry, he has potential and maybe can be well-formed at Dortmund.
He was named EFL Championship Young Player of the Season. He is 19 years old a big future!
I don't know if he is better than his brother or not, but I hope his ego doesn't be like his brother. Two of the same kind in the world of football are too much.

Dortmund are not alone in pursuing Jobe Bellingham signature , Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig are also reportedly interested in signing him. But Dortmund are at the forefront of the competition, I think it's quite reasonable, considering Dortmund management has an emotional closeness to Jude Bellingham before. His current market value is around 25 million, and considering his potential and the interest of several other clubs, the price could be higher in the future. Yes, this time there is no official information regarding who the replacement will be, initially, Cesc Fabregas was one of the candidates we asked. However, he has been rejected to be the new coach and still wants to continue to focus on COMO.

The problem is if Fabregas really fails, one of the other candidates is Ten Hag. Is it over? Or will it end like Man United?

This draw have confirmed that Leverkusen remains unbeaten in away games in the Bundesliga for 2 successive seasons, but sadly this is final game for Xabi Alonso as Leverkusen's manager. When he arrived, they were fighting for relegation, and took them to 6th place in the same season, but in next season he made Leverkusen the invincibles of Germany by winning the Bundesliga without losing a single game throughout the season, which is the first time ever it happened in Germany, adding a complete historic double as well in process but missed out Europa league.
Although, they still ended in a 51 game unbeaten run in all competitions, what an incredible achievement anyway.

Mainz had an amazing season to finish 6th, so congratulations to Mainz for qualifying for the Europa next season. I hope they do well in conference league, and also,best of luck to Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid next season.

I don't see anything interesting from Frankfurt if they are in 3rd position I personally think the competition in the German League is less competitive and almost all teams experienced a decline in performance well Frankfurt took advantage of this situation. The only team that catches my eye in this league is Dortmund if you remember their performance has been inconsistent since the start of the season but somehow Dortmund suddenly played well especially towards the end of the season until finally they get a ticket to the champions league. Why Dortmund not do it from the start? they should have finished in a better place or even compete with Bayern Munich for the title.

As expected, Frankfurt ended up getting the win, which helped Dortmund a ton, thanks to Freiburg losing, Dortmund finished the season 4th place. Considering how they started out the season, we could easily say that they have done much worse normally, and now they are doing much better, such a huge change in how they played, made them so much better. At the very least, they could end up with fourth place being UCL and they could do better there and make a lot more money.

The trouble is that we are not seeing how much they could change for next season. Considering how they have become this season after the coach change, and considering this coach will have a whole summer of transfers he wants and camp that he will give to players, I bet that next season they are going to be even better. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up battling for a title.

I really wonder what Frankfurt, one of the teams that will go to the Champions League from Germany, can do next year. Borussia Dortmund will probably support their team with a few young and quality players. Bayern Munich will continue to add quality players to their team. We can say that Bayer Leverkusen has already started losing players. Their technical director has signed with Real Madrid and the young players are on the target board of many teams in Europe. There are teams that will do everything to get them. This also makes Leverkusen a little weaker next year. Xabi Alonso has really made an important and tremendous change in this Bayern Leverkusen team and this is definitely gonna put the next man in what will look like a hot seat. The new coach will have to perform and the fans will certainly have some expectations of him. Alonso has actually set a high bar for his successor in a way. He has done marvellously well for this Leverkusen team, guiding them to their first ever Bundesliga title win in decades and I'm sure it will take a lot of work for another manager to get this considering Bayern Munich and even Dortmund in the league.

Dino Toppmoller did an excellent job at Frankfurt this season, their performance was great from beginning to the end, and I expected them to do well in the Europa League this season, but their strength wasn't enough to keep them in the competition. They were eliminated by Tottenham Spurs, I expected them to defeat Tottenham in the second leg at home because the first leg was a draw, but Tottenham was lucky to win by a narrow score.

However, watching this club in the Champions League next season would be a big achievement, I nearly expected them to lose the Champions League position after conceding the first goal against Freiburg, but they equalized in the first half and turned things around in the second half. I hope they can go far in the Champions League next season because consistency is important to avoid elimination in the group stage.

We observed outstanding work by players of Borussia Dortmund full strength football team in the last match because they did well and did 3 goals in that match.Guirassy was person who did goal at 3 minutes when it was requirement of team and after we saw back to back goals by that team and Sabitzer did second goal at 47 minutes and opponent team was in recessive position because they could not do any goal in this match. Holstein Kiel full strength football team performance was very bad in that match and they need to work on their skills because without they will do like same and there will be same result.Nmecha did last goal of the match and he did this goal at 72 minutes and team lie at 4 position .

What do you mean by "easy title"? I don't believe that. The "easy" margin, what is it? Bavaria won with two games to go, which is later than six of their last ten wins. It was less than 9 points gap until Matchday 30, even though they had a "disappointing" ending. When things got tough, Bayern's depth (16 sub goals, bench worth +11 goals over the league) got them through. Leverkusen may not have felt unbeatable like last year , but the fact that they were the comeback kings (+12 points from losing places) shows that they shook a lot of cages, including Bayern's

If Leverkusen's young team keeps getting better next season, especially since they haven't lost an away game in 17 games, the "Alonso effect" might not just be flashy, but also long-lasting. Easy titles? Those days are gone

On match day 25 Bayern loses at home against Bochum 2-3. Now the time has come for Leverkusen as they play at home, too. But guess what they do, they lose against struggling Bremen 2-3. Bayern loses, Bayer loses.

Those are key moments that you can't allow Bayern to get away with. But if they can away with it, there is no possibility to stop them. It is rare that they lose these games, but when Leverkusen then loses at home too or ties the games, which they have a lot, Bayern takes it. The title was relatively easy because I think since match day 18, the gap never was smaller than six points again. Yes they had to win their games and work for it, but it is Bayern Munich playing against Heidenheim, Kiel, struggling Dortmund and Leipzig, out of shape Stuttgart and so on.
