With Xabi Alonso leaving Leverkusen at the end of the season for Madrid it will bring to an end of era in the bundesliga because I don't think that next season that that the bundesliga race will be as competitive again like this because the level of competition will reduce drastically because Leverkusen has been the only team that has been competing with bayern munich in the bundesliga for the past two seasons

Knowing fully that if Xavi Alonso leaves Bayer Leverkusen, it will be very hard for them to meet up to the competition with Bayern Munich unless they are able to find another coach that will be able to put in more effort as Xavi Alonso and will be as good as him. Although we know that it will be very hard for them to achieve that, still nothing is impossible, as we all don’t know what next season will bring. But if we are to discuss what we know presently, Bayer Leverkusen won’t be able to do anything after Xavi Alonso leaves for Real Madrid. That is the sad fact.

So it looks like the decision is made and Erik Ten Hag is set to replace Xabi Alonso as Leverkusen's manager, while Xabi Alonso is expected to take over Real Madrid and replace Carlo Ancelotti.

While I'm not surprised at all to see Alonso as Real's manager, I'm not sure if Ten Hag is the right type of guy to lead Leverkusen. He didn't do great in his last club, Man United, and ended up getting sacked. During Ten Hag's tenure, United's offense was performing particularly poorly, so I hope the same won't be the case for Leverkusen.
But, to be fair to Ten Hag, after Alex Ferguson's retirement, hardly any manager has performed to the expectations, and United is starting to look like a doomed club.

I don't think Florian Wirtz will stay at German. Until now, it is quite doubtful that Bayern Munich will sign him. The latest news reported that he will move to Liverpool. Wirtz stated he prefers Liverpool than any other teams. It means there will be no chance that Xabi will bring him to Real Madrid since he is only interested to join Liverpool.

Initially I thought Wirtz would go to Bayern Munich, because Munich is a promising club and moreover the club has a match schedule in the 2025 WCC, so this will be a pretty impressive first season. Likewise when he went to Real Madrid, moving with coach Xabi Alonso. But who would have thought that the two big clubs were not the main choices for Wirtz, and reportedly he was more interested in playing in the English Premier League and joining Liverpool. The bargaining has been done and Wirtz's transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool is almost complete.

It has become a provision of UEFA rules, whoever wins the League Cup (BFB Pokal) in the Bundesliga, then the team will automatically get a ticket to the Europa League next season regardless of which division they play in. The same thing happened to Man United last season after winning the FA CUP, they got an automatic ticket to the Europa League even though they finished outside the European Zone.

You made some sharp observations about Bundesliga unique nature while Bayern Munich mostly wins league German Cup frequently delivers exciting upsets with even lower division teams making it to final kind of cup magic rarely seen elsewhere. It is sensible that winning cup grants Europa League spot offering great reward for smaller clubs. Don't just focus on Leverkusen as Munich competitor remember Bundesliga still has Dortmund, indeed this season Dortmund has not shown significant improvement but we don't know what they will do next season and usually Dortmund brings something different every season for example new players who shine. You know Sehrou Guirassy is one of Dortmund players who is attracting attention in the Bundesliga he is only 5 goals behind Harry Kane who knows next season he can take Dortmund to a better place.

This seems to need to be taken into consideration for next season because after all, at this time Leverkusen seems ready to lose several pillars including from players and coaches.
