Yes, there was no chance for Augsburg to win against Bayern. and in the end, they lost 1 - 3 to Bayern, one of which was an own goal from Matsima. Plus, Augsburg also got a red card in the second half, so in any case, their strength was greatly weakened.

But the surprising thing is that their defense to fend off various dangerous attacks from Bayern Munich was quite good. Just imagine, there were around 19 shots and 7 were shots on target which were quite dangerous, but they were able to fend them off and only scored 2 goals, this means that their back line efforts were quite good, it's just that, their overall strength was indeed much lower.

I think it was a valuable win for Munich. With this win, Leverkusen's chances of staying in the match are further away, but the hosts are the team that makes Munich nervous. They managed to open the lead, but the quality of Munich's forwards made it difficult for the hosts to defend for long, and I don't think Kompany could have done much with their defense here. It's clear how small efforts can turn into goals. If this continues, the chances of beating Inter in the Champions League are getting slimmer. They are Munich back and forth. It happened, but the hosts didn't have the cards. I think the result could have been different.

Augsburg would not be able to win against Bayern because they are the ones leading the Bundesliga, so how on earth will they be able to win them? It is not possible. they were lucky to have been able to score at least one goal and Bayern was able to score at least three goals games like this give you the bag because, for those who have gambled and have chosen Bayern for a straight win, no matter what Leverkusen might be doing well, they don't have that luck to be able to win the Bundesliga because komapny have already made a promise of delivering the title so there is no winning for Leverkusen and the game between Bayern and Augsburg was a lot of dominated by the game because even with the three goals they had seven shots on target, so the goals would have been more than three because of those attempts. and this shows how strong Bayern.

Bayern Munich managed to get the three points which was what matters but that wasn't a pleasing game from Bayern Munich sincerely speaking. Augsburg scored first and ready to give their best but unfortunately they conceded a red card that weaken their strength and Bayern Munich capitalise on the red card to get away with the victory. I know their first team is struggling with injuries but they need to work on how they concede silly goals. The red card really made things easier for Bayern to get the win despite that they were the favourites team but Augsburg also had their chances. Very sad they lose Musiala to injury again and they are playing Inter Milan next week. They are really in for a long ride for the rest of the season with their current injury list.

Sorry but I think even Bayern Munich fans will not expect Heidenheim to beat Leverkusen. Heidenheim are currently in the relegation zone. They are not a strong team and have only won 6 matches. I never thought their 7th match would be a win over Leverkusen. But I still agree that anything can happen in football. Like Plymouth surprisingly beat Liverpool. But I think we have to be realistic for every match. Maybe Bayern Munich can expect Leverkusen to lose against teams like Eintracht Frankfurt, Mainz, Leipzig or Borussia Mönchengladbach. With the current points it should not be difficult for Munich to win the title this season. If Leverkusen wins against Heidenheim then Bayern Munich are still 6 points ahead and that could be an advantage for them.

Finally, Sane scores after missing a one on one scoring opportunity just few minutes before he netted the third goal for Bayern Munich. This is the first time in his Bundesliga career that his hitting a double figure, 10 goals for him. Augsburg really made Bayern Munich to work for this win after they took the lead in the first half and was equalised before HT. A well deserved victory for Bayern Munich tonight after winning 1:3 in the game,  for clarification the 3rd goal wasn't recorded in the name of Sane rather it was recorded as an own goal because of the contact of the Augsburg player Matsima C. I think the home team was affected by the red card that was given to  one of their players I believe it made them to become very weak and Bayern Munich took the advantage to pressure them until they scored the second and third goal. Bayern Munich still maintain their 6 points gap ahead of Leverkusen I think they are going to win the league if they maintain this level of performance and winning.

It was later reviewed after and I have already dropped my post, the commentators debated about it until they confirmed it's Sane's goal and the goal was written to his name even as I was watching the match, maybe they finally reviewed it after the match. It's 9 points gap currently. Bayern Leverkusen has a game at hand, if they win it then it's back to 6 points gap. It's uncertain right now because they still have to play their game to determine what the point difference will be for this week.

Leverkusen is playing as if they have fully given up and this is what I thought. There are still voices here that Leverkusen has a chance to win the Bundesliga, but no that is not true. They played so many bad games now that it wouldn't even be deserved. Bayern took the three points yesterday and that demotivated them tremendously as you can see. Heidenheim having more chances...

I have no doubt about Bayern winning the league this season. Imagine with 9 point difference, that mean they have to lose like 3 match for Leverkusen to meet them. Even if they do what is the assurance that Leverkusen will win all his matches as well.

The points gap that you see is the gap where Leverkusen still has not played for the 28th game this season and if Leverkusen can win at Heidenheim's home, then the points gap will return to six as before. Many people will not appreciate this numbers by Harry Kane because he plays for Bayern Munich, but 77 in 83 games is not just any number most especially in this current Bayern Munich squad which over the last two season has actually looked like the worst Bayern Munich side for the past decade. Harry Kane to me is without doubt the best center forward over the past seasons, the numbers he was bringing during days at Tottenham shows how prolific he was as a striker now at Bayern Munich he keeps up same momentum. Before the end of this year can say he might be in triple figures for goals in Bayern Munich colours, he is just disrespected because hasn’t won any major trophies. He made a huge mistake when Manchester city wanted to take him then before they went for Halaand.

As for Bayern Munich, I can say they are getting closer to their regular season goal of winning the Bundesliga. For me they just need to actually take the games one by one and hopefully before the last two games they can wrap up the season. The champions league might seems to be their biggest challenge now as they are up against not any regular team but Italian champions who I can say are one of my favourite to go all the way to the final. Bayern Munich suffered heavy blow this weekend with Jamal Musiala now an heavy doubt for the rest of season as he picked up an hamstring injury which is definitely going to be a big miss

As the league still ongoing I think given the Bayern Munich high hope to win the league is too early, because as you say there now performing better that’s how the Leverkusen also put in much efforts to make their performances more competitive, and if look at their currently performances it has different from previous ones this shows that their already to win the league.

Harry Kane will most definitely win the golden booth and again win the Bundesliga trophy this season. This is going to be double joy for him and his teammates also. I feel his first trophy is coming soon and that’s the Bundesliga trophy. Every time I analyse to see a possibility whether anything can stop him from winning the Bundesliga trophy, but I don’t see one coming anytime soon till the end of the season. Funny enough Bayern Leverkusen is now like a team that's struggling with form as it stands, after their back to back  defeat in the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League they seem off. The chance they had to at least reach the cup finals so they can stand a chance of defending that trophy, they lost it to a third tier team over the midweek. They struggled against Heidenheim today and were almost held to a draw until the deadlock was broken in 90+1 minutes to get all 3 points and still maintain the 6 points gap between them and the league leaders.

It was true that Bayer Leverkusen faced today's lower team, but that team also became much stronger for Leverkusen in today's match. On the basis of your discussion it may not be correct to say exactly what the score of a match will be. Everyone had one expectation for this German league match today, Leverkusen would be able to secure easily victory but no one ever thought that they would be able to emerge victorious from such difficult circumstances.

I don't know how but Mainz managed to draw with the team at the bottom of the standings somehow.    After watching this I have just lost my faith in them to finish in top 4. This is their 3rd time in a row losing points in the league by the way...

Dortmund destroyed Freiburg by 4-1 away today. Who could have thought so? The odds given to Dortmund win must be over 2.00. They are really full of surprises. But no, still not changing my thought about them for the Champions League just because of winning 2 consecutive games.

This match went the way I least expected which is a draw because my prediction was for Mainz to win since they are playing at home and are obviously stronger than Holstein Kiel. If Mainz could not win Holstein Kiel that is at the bottom of the Bundesliga, they are obviously putting their chances of qualifying for the champions league next season on the line. Now Mainz is closely being followed by RB Leipzig that won their match today as they hosted Hoffenheim bringing them closer to Mainz with just a point difference. This weekend now open the league for more fierce competition this season.
