Looking for Paul Vernon, why not ask the person closest to him and the most obvious partner in this conspiracy at this year North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami?
http://btcmiami.com/speakers/

Used to be the CTO of Cryptsy and the failed Mintsy, bought Betarigs (link: http://bitcoinist.net/finalhash-purchases-betarigs-will-roll-new-features-near-future/) and also said it would be partnered to Mintsy (link: http://www.thepaypers.com/cryptocurrencies-bitcoin-virtual-currencies/betarigs-and-mintsy-partner-to-enable-hash-rates-rental/758755-39).
He is also mentioned as being on the team behind the Bitcoin Classic proposal which is enough to reason to avoid it imho (besides the aggressive and misleading marketing campaign currently happening with it)

If you see him there maybe you can ask how he intends to repay the users money he took in exchange for contracts that stopped paying and then collapsed when the only real partner (not another entity owned by this conspiracy) officially dissolved the partnership with them, or why he has erased all mention of his time with Cryptsy and Mintsy from his linkedin.

I think this is the guy authorities should be looking at as well as Paul Vernon in this  Angry

The first person to correctly count the obvious errors in the following article wins an Oreo cookie: https://www.hackread.com/cryptsy-hacked-bitcoin-worth-usd-6-million-stolen/

Quote
Now, there is a bounty over Lucky7Coin’s developer’s head: 1000BTC promised to anyone who can trace the stolen money.

There's two, leaving it for yous to [easily] hunt the others in the short article. Hint: It's over six errors in total, which is amazing given that it's a fresh article based on other articles penned over the past twice days.

The LK7 dev is muddafudda. Whether or not he is Paul Vernon or one of Bitcoin's higher ups/ early adopters is to be determined...

I just came across the following while tracking Cryptsy's coins: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/29tdt3/remember_the_800_btc_fuckup_guy/cioc8f9?context=10000

This is the address I found that led me him: 1FL488btzV244B5dkCTL6PZruJ9Di7AtT9

He claims that Mt Gox repaid his 800 BTC on July 4, 2014, five months after Gox closed and nobody else has yet to receive any of their funds.

Ive a insight on how big ass vern and horus - mullick cocksuckers could be tracked down and locked into the cell.
U know it wasnt easy to geo locate ulbricht's ass, it took over a year and a half for feds to connect the dots and find suckers post over at shroomery where ross had posted once in 2013 under a handle alltoid. feds then looked up the only place on the net where ross could possibly have looked for the underlings, went on to bitcointalk and searched for alltoid and apparently found out that someone under the exact handle did indeed post on the service announcement section in the same period of time back in 2013, looking for security engineer for the hidden marketplace. alltoid's post on bitcointalk dated 2013 contained his gmail addy. feds then sent a subpoena to google asking to dump suckers ip logs. after getting the ips they googled and geo located ross who silently lived in his us apartments, raided over to his addy and - surprisingly ross was right there.
what Im suggesting. trex is a US located llc registered under fincen license as much as poloniex so theyre obliged when given court order or subpoena, to cooperate with law enforcement and would easily provide their customer infos making it easy for feds to pull exchange databases and examine them for presence of the linked ips obtained from verns twitter account after sending subpoena to twitter that is ought to cooperate and provide infos on users suspected in committing financial crimes and seizing it in the course of legal action.  looking through these logs, feds might figure if its vern.

Glen Frey may have pasted today, but as far as Paul Vernon's concerned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C070_4ya98Y

Whoa!   Glenn Frey passed?   (Not pasted.)  RIP
Yeah, that sucks.  RIP him and Cryptsy, though I'm cool with the latter biting the dust.  Hope people can recover their funds. Embarrassed

They should ABSOLUTELY be coming after Marshall Long. His doughy ass will be perfect for prison... I think "Hashers United" and the entire conference behind it was to somehow give credibility to whatever he had cooked up with Joshie then, and later Big Vern. I mean seriously... two of the biggest scams in crypto, based out of the US, and Marshall's right there as a sidekick to both of them. Marshall's a lying thief too, and his involvement in this will invariably come out. I for one was party to a deal where he was supposed to deliver 5 Ph/s of power in exchange for a pretty decent sum of BTC. He certainly got his Bitcoins, and the 5 Ph/s of power, well there was always a reason it was right on the brink of happening but never did...

Couple of other thoughts...

Maybe the hackers only took alt coins... dash, doge, ltc etc and Paul himself stashed aside the BTC to keep it with the story that's why it hasn't moved and he's waiting for the blame game to show up nothing..? It explains why the alts were moved, mixed spent whatever but the btc hasn't.

Or

Maybe the hackers intention was to bring cryptsy down with all their bs? If that was the case though and I had done it I would of sent half the bitcoin to a wallet and used half of the amount as a trans fee... wouldn't that be hilarious? People seeing a huge mining fee and cryptsy having to come forward and admit it to try and reclaim that fee?

Did the hackers photoshop Leroy's mug shot too ? Roll Eyes

This is an inside job and you need to stop doing such a shitty job as a disinfo agent and shill. Tongue

Or stop being so childish and join a skype or hangout and be proven wrong!! this is not a beauty contest hippietech, you either want real proof or not !!!

And wow to think one would actually go thru all that crap to have a double identity on a forum. do you seriously believe this stuff you spout on about? Are you seriously that crazy that you think people spend their time doing stuff like you claim?

You know some of us have more of a life than sitting on Bitcoin talk all day trolling people. The handful of you guys that literally waste your life doing these kinds of things amazes me. Do you guys not have jobs or projects or anything productive you could be putting your wasted time towards.

And you think we want to waste our time catering to your every request, selphies, random website postings, we have you a real solutin you can not avoid or troll... do the hangout or the skype or give it up, we are not the same person....DEAL WITH IT your wrong as usual!!!!

I have 3 letters for you "Leroy",  C  G  I.

Your ears were as badly cropped as your neckline.

Are you really that full of your Fodorable shit that you honestly believed no one would notice ?

cant you just meet them both on skype or google hangout as they offered? selfies you asked for uploaded wont prove anything to you as there is always the possibilty of you claiming photoshop or cgi or whatever dont you agree? them on a hangout or skype is live video which is irrefutable proof and thats what you are after. they have both agreed to this but you are dragging the chain on it.

if you dont want your face shown just disable your webcam.
i dont understand why you wont do the video view and personally until you do i dont think you have any grounds to play judge on this until you do.

your beef with stakeminers is yours im not really caring about that but your character assassination of another based on 2 pictures when you wont join a video hangout is plain wrong.

O god not you again... I'm throwing ideas out there as pie in the sky thoughts. Just thoughts man.... and disinformation.. you spent like 2 pages trying to tell people I was that Jagropolite person based on no0o0o0 text and a few other things. Took gleb to actually find the real me so there is disinformation from you. Come to think of it you never mentioned you were wrong about that.

EDIT

Apologies it was spoetnik that said I was jagropolite just checked. Leaving original post here for transparency. I was wrong on that one... was coping criticism from both angles and couldn't remember.

np..

You also missed out on my original statement/question. Tongue

23 days applied to an earlier arrest before he was charged with a crime. Now he's been charged with embezzlement and remains in jail. Given Japan's conviction rates he's likely to spend quite a bit of time there.

I, for one, would gladly get fucked in the ass by the biggest, baddest black dude while cupping his balls and French kissing Leroy Fodor for a million bucks. Okay, perhaps not cupping balls unless it's for two million dollars. HAHAHA

Doing the math, we'll be lucky if Paul Vernon serves a quarter of the time that Trendon Shavers is sentenced to for his four-time larger theft than what occurred at Cryptsy.

The majority of customer digital assets (e.g., bitcoin) are held in our offline (i.e., air-gapped) vaulted storage system (“Cold Storage”). Only a small portion of digital assets are held in our online wallet (“Hot Wallet”).

Paul Vernon: Okay, we just figured out how the Trojan attacked occurred. On July 29, 2014, my wife brought to the office her signature fish sandwiches that's all the rage by the staff. Well, we had to open the door for her to come in to deliver the sandwiches and that's when we believe the Trojan sniffed the off-line cold wallet packet thingies reducing our holdings during the event. To be clear, we were using the stench of Marshall Long so that them packets couldn't be sniffed, but somehow the aroma of the fish sandwiches countered Marshall's stench allowing the event to happen. We promise to be more careful, especially now that it looks like we won't be getting anymore of them delicious fish sandwiches delivered to our office, wherever that may be, due to a divorce, with the stench of Marshall Long remaining in place, the only true defense against ANY attack, as once shown where even Josh Garza backed away from Marshall's advance.

If he's convicted of obstruction of justice "compounding a felony", then he would get the same sentence as if he stole the money himself under Florida law. He's also looking at aiding and abetting, being an accessory after the fact, and whatever compliance related charges they want to throw at him like failing to segregate customer assets in accordance with fincen regulation.

Seriously, this dude is not getting off which is why I suspect he preemptively fled the country.

Paul, if you are really lucky, law enforcement finds you before we do. Just remember that you may have run away, but your loved ones are still here.

Karpeles most certainly was charged. I live in tokyo and it was in the local news. They detained him the first time then charged him with embezzlement which carries a 5 year penalty. Then about 6 weeks later they detained him again and upgraded his charges to a higher embezzlement charge because they found some proof that he spent some of the stolen money on prostitutes and hostesses. In Japan, if you embezzle money and spend it on "social endeavors" the penalty doubles to ten years.

And yes in Japan you can be detained for 23 days without charges. However, that doesn't mean sitting quietly in a cell. They won't let you sleep for days, repeatedly interrogate you demanding confessions for 12 hours at a time, use stress position tactics just like guantanamo bay, and even withhold food until you confess. Japan gets a 99% conviction rate for a reason.
