don't worry you can always trade with Bitcoinbuilder when they go full Gox Wink

Quote
Sirazimuth: give me your answer please....

cccccc684: so @jshock is there a reason that smaller tx's are getting through?

katarbits: @cccccc684: hal cryptsy wont open the door unless you take the memory out

JShock: @cccccc684: You keep asking me questions i cant answer

cccccc684: sorry

katarbits: and reset the the old version

cccccc684: I am not trying to be deliberately awkward

JShock: Again, i have NO control over system

sur3fir3616: @JShock: I diint nkow there were issue and i made a dash deposit.  the coins wont be lost will they?

cccccc684: I am hoping I find the right question, I guess

P75Formula: Maybe someone should restart the cryptsy routher

sur3fir3616: * I didnt know there were issues

P75Formula: router*

P75Formula: when my internet runs like crap I restart the router

cccccc684: I think we're alone now. There doesn't seem to be any mod around...

cccccc684: nite all, chat tomorrow maybe

P75Formula: they're always around

katarbits: cryptsy wallet is so safe even users cant touch it

sur3fir3616: lol

P75Formula: the mods here are pretty cool, it's why I don't like to give them trouble. But bs is bs

sur3fir3616: Honestly im tinkleed there's no message on the login screen.  I made a deposit before I even knew there were issues

cccccc684: "system has full control" - in the panic they try to pull the plug. Cryptsy fights back.

sur3fir3616: *ticked

cmvet882: Wait, how did @JShock get banned for 1 hour?  isn't he a mod?  It's like "I don't want to answer anymore questions, so ban"

cccccc684: cryptsy begins to learn at a geometric rate...

BlueHorseshoe: @JShock:I would have appreciated if you would have given me a response to the question I directed to you.

cccccc684: cmvet I think that's it, yeah

P75Formula: @cmvet882:he can ban himself

cccccc684: but I think (hope!) it's more like "I'm too busy, I gotta go and do things"

Sirazimuth: yu mean p!ssed?

cccccc684: rather than "screw this I'm out"

sur3fir3616: ticked/tinkleed... same thing Smiley

cccccc684: anyway. nite all.

sur3fir3616: wtf when i type tinkleed it gets messed up

Sirazimuth: lol naughty word filter

sur3fir3616: LOL

P75Formula: tinkleed

Sasha64105: Anyone know why a 0.2btc withdrawal is still 'pending' after almost a day?

cmvet882: I would just like to see a couple wallets come back online.  They have been down for weeks with no ability to withdraw.  It's fing frustrating to say the least.

P75Formula: tinklesed

schad: @cccccc684:  good night go get a cold one

JShock: It means i have answered the same questions over and over and nobody is listening so whats the point

Sasha64105: ah..

P75Formula: pi ssed

BlueHorseshoe: @P75Formula:If I was the only mod currently in here I'd ban myself also. What is the definition of retreat?

JShock: and its not that i dont want  to answer anymore.. IM HUNGRY

Because it's what you're paid to do asshole.. it's your fucking job !

Sirazimuth: there ya go

Sasha64105: Has it all gone a bit Intersango?

sur3fir3616: JShock i just came in here i did not see the previous resopnses I apologize if its redundant

schad: @JShock: you have answered alot of questions, Thank YOU

JShock: GOnna eat.. when i ban myself, its to let all know im no longer here so your not thinking im ignoring you

sur3fir3616: Why dont you just put a big banner at the login screen ?

cmvet882: @Sasha64105 it's because you need to wait for 0.2 BTC to be in the wallet to get transfered....  If they don't have it, they can't send any to you.

Sirazimuth: that would be telling...

JShock: Now... I go eat

BitcoinBreeder: How many people work at fresh desk, customer service? 3?

Anaesthetix724: @JShock:bon appetit

katarbits: its not easy being blue,, oh wait or it green

katarbits: or is it*

Sasha64105: Yeah, got it vet. I'd actually forgotten I had anything here at all.

Sirazimuth: that was a quick 1st hour. maybe 2nd hour slightly longer?

Sasha64105: Some people must be pretty upset.

BlueHorseshoe: @JShock:Approx. how long should it take for my HYP deposit to arrive in my Cryptsy account? If you don't know the answer kindly reply anyways, thank you!!!!!!

cmvet882: @Sasha64105 yeah I only have about 0.12 BTC worth to transfer out of here.  I can't imagine people with actual large amounts....

sur3fir3616: @BlueHorseshoe:Ive been wating over 1.5 hours on my deposit

Sasha64105: .2btc doesn't even get me a trip to the hairdresser round here.

BlueHorseshoe: @sur3fir3616:same here, customer service is worse than a third world country here at this point.

Sasha64105: So is it a hack or a ponzi, or something else?

cmvet882: @Sasha64105 I have another 1384 XPY that hasn't been able to transfer out for weeks.

SofaKing: HAL9000 the wallet server had a Dave malfunction

portu23344: the wd is unrunning yet

BitcoinBreeder: s h i t --- is gonna hit the fan

Sirazimuth: nahhh, we all one big happy crypto family! ....well maybe not...

sur3fir3616: ive been with cryptsy for over 2 or so years.. they've never done me wrong.

cmvet882: @Sash64105 No it's just the norm in crypto this past 12 months.

Jagrapolite: @sur3fir3616: +1 same

Sasha64105: it might be ba fake hack I suppose, a FHack.

portu23344: is not fixed

obeone106: a marketplace that is not able to function properly it needs to "maintenance" to preserve transactions

portu23344: or what

Sasha64105: I've been with Cryptsy a while too, but I'd forgotten all about bitcoin, then the dog got sick, again, and I'm raiding all my hidden stashes Smiley

cmvet882: @sur3fir3616 yeah same here, up until 2-3 weeks ago everything just just fine and dandy..... But when you can't withdraw any of your coins for weeks..... there is something there.

sur3fir3616: Im worried it may be a hack as said... but I am sure its not something cryptsy did on purpose like mtgox

katarbits: if your stock with btc  and cant get wd buy some NSR cheap the wd are pretty fast

Sirazimuth: @portu23344:the market? hope its not fixed..then again this is crypto...

cmvet882: @katarbits you lose you shorts in all the conversions and transactions

katarbits: nsr are having a buyback this week so its a easy sell on other exchanges

BlueHorseshoe: @sur3fir3616:A year and a half and anyone who's been trying to do btc withdraws for 2 months has had issues, welcome back, just wanted to bring you up to speed.

JShock: @BlueHorseshoe: That is exactly why panic is spreading and withdrawals are backing uip

Did he just inadvertently admit that Cryptsy is insolvent; there is a run on people wanting to cash out in BTC, and they don't have the BTC to deliver ?!

Cryptsy's ETH wallet is pretty much totally empty:
https://etherchain.org/account/0xc47aaa860008be6f65b58c6c6e02a84e666efe31#txsent

Couldn't find a cold storage wallet for them, so I guess they don't have one. So, either almost everybody has taken their ETH out (unlikely, as withdrawals are fscked), or they were hacked/stolen.

And here is the real reason why Paul Vernon is in China: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-12-11/bitcoin-breaks-out-higher-after-china-announces-crackdown-unionpay-pos-devices

Chinese Dude: Mr. Vernon, explain again please very slow like me is Leroy Fodor. What you propose?

Paul Vernon: Okay, rich Chinese people give me moneys via Cryptsy and they buy any altcoin they like. We got much to choose from. Then, when they go out of country, they ask for their moneys back via any flavor altcoin they like. Sometimes they even make nice profit.

Chinese Dude: Is process simple?

Paul Vernon: Oh yes, very simple! To date nobody have problem with depositing into Cryptsy.

Chinese Dude: How bout taking moneys out?

Paul Vernon: Yes. I have very smart team in place like man in Canada and folks from Texas, a very big state in Merica.

Chinese Dude: You know Satoshi man?

Paul Vernon: Dr. Craig Steven Wright and I have spoke by email on several occasions.

Chinese Dude: What good altcoin to get in first.

Paul Vernon: That beauty of our business. All our altcoins are very, very good, hand-pick by man named John, sadly he no longer with company.

Chinese Dude: If your customers have big issues, where they go to get help.

Paul Vernon: Very good question. We use lots of services like Twitter and Cryptsy chat.

So how much is too much? If you don't disclose any numbers, e.g. how many transactions are queued up, how quickly you're processing them, etc - it all sounds like a bullshit excuse. If you're really having "technical" issues you should be much more open about it otherwise you'll be considered insolvent and for a good reason, it's really that simple.

As it stands now you don't even have a warning anywhere on the site itself. After months of continuing issues. And now blaming "panic" for creating a run. Classy.

Hmm which one ?
The DDOS attack ?
The BigVern is in China Incident so it's too unsafe to move coins story ?
There is a couple more that predate that going back two+ months now..
Do you forget one excuse ?
Horus had posted on a news site etc that it's just FUD by Trolls.. implying their is no problem.

I sure hope you get your paycheck Jim or your working for free defending BigVern's sleazy antics.

There is no way ANY problem takes this long to fix.. you could have re-coded the whole damn web-site in the time
you guys have been rattling off excuses.. and this is not the first time either !

Want to see my chat log of you guys doing this over a year ago ?
You guys had the same problems then vanished.
One of you popped up one time to say we were all liars trolling.
EVERYONE raged to hell and back calling Bullshit and demanded to know where there coins went.
Then "Ross" scuttled off.
He claimed it was already fixed and pointed to the Cryptsy Blog as evidence of the issue etc.
Many days later the problem WAS not fixed !
EVERY SINGLE person that tried to take out their coins got fucked !
Then lied to.. then chat banned.

And here we fucking go again.

And i fucking god damn you assholes to call me on my bluff.. do it !
I have a chat log on my hard rive waiting for the first fucking big mouth Cool
try me..

Dude is anyone still using Cryptsy?  I can see only one outcome of this,  and it's Cryptsy's insolvency.   No trust=No business.

That is what blows me away !
Why are people still using that exchange ?

I also heard some grumbling around more and more with Yobit too.
I seen a guy on their chat today ask a classic question that reminded me off Cryptsy antics.
He said..
If we can't withdraw "FLY" coin then why are the markets still open ?
That is classic Cryptsy shenanigans.. i had asked the same to BitJohn millions of times before.
And i always got a cocky / snotty fuck off response.
Once he went to Twitter (main page feed) and added a message saying there was a problem with a coin..

Thanks for the good laugh.  Grin

Glad you enjoyed the humor as I did so penning it, but beneath the comicality lies what I believe is the real reason Paul's in China, and that's to position Cryptsy to take advantage of UnionPay's withdraw caps.

Quote

China has capped the amount of money Chinese holders of bank and credit cards can withdraw outside the country, in its latest effort to discourage people from moving badly needed capital offshore.

China’s foreign-exchange regulator put a new annual cap on overseas cash withdrawals using China UnionPay Co. bank cards, a UnionPay official said on Tuesday. Under the new rules, UnionPay cardholders can withdraw up to 50,000 yuan ($7,854) overseas during the last three months of this year, and the amount will be capped at 100,000 yuan for all of next year, the official said.

State-run UnionPay has a virtual monopoly on processing card transactions in China, meaning the limits extend to nearly all Chinese bank- and credit-card holders. It wasn’t clear when the new cap was issued.

The new cap is in addition to an existing 10,000 yuan daily withdrawal limit, part of China’s curbs on how much money can flow across its borders.

The move by China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange is the latest by Beijing to scrutinize capital outflows.

I'd say it's not beneath Paul Vernon to offer new Chinese clients to Cryptsy an immediate Tier 2 or Tier 3 (or higher) ranking upon sign-up, thus filling Cryptsy's coffer with the general consensus much needed reserves, depleted by most likely mismanagement and nefarious means.

Once he went to Twitter (main page feed) and added a message saying there was a problem with a coin..
when i probed him about making an announcement.
