BTC is way better than Western Union because of low fees. It's possible to send much lower amounts without fees

and you do not have to go anywhere to send money you only need gadgets and internet then you can send money anywhere in the world. This is far more sophisticated than WU

This is what I have in mind when I saw this post. Bitcoin is pretty easy to transfer and has low transaction fees the only downside is that sometimes the transactions take a long time to be confirmed and some people don't want that, they want instant money. For me, I would still prefer Bitcoin.

Western Union still caters to a lot of people and I still see a lot of people queueing in their centers. Before i know the bitcoin, I was working in Oman and every month I use to stand in the line exchange my salary and i use to send it to my parent bank account in my home country. After know bitcoins now buying a bitcoins equal to that and exchange it with my country btc traders. It takes too low fees than this WU, UAE exchange and etc.

Yes,when i was working in dubai,i could remember i stood in a large queue in a exchange to send my salary to india.The fees was 20 dirhams which is equal to 3 dollars.Do you know in bitcoin,it took only 0.12 dollars for me to send the money.Exchanges like western union still survive only due to people who dont know about bitcoins.

As you said and I could conclude that western union have many customers because of many people still lack knowledge of bitcoin, but, it's have nothing to do with whether which one of bitcoin and WU is better.
There's many services out there that poorly offered and have many customers meanwhile there's good services that only having low customers also exist, the amount of customers have nothing to do with the quality of the service providers.

I think bitcoin with WU we can not compare dude. Bitcoin is a currency and WU is not money but a place to save and send money. So should not we debated it again, but if questioning the popularity of course WU better known because of them came first before bitcoin, I guess. Ofcourse it depends upon the condition of the person who want make deals with how much easy and legality .
I don't mean to say that we have any doubt about the Bitcoin legality and trusty , Here I mean what I want to explain through a single example .
Suppose person A want to send money or payment to the person B . But what happened if the person A belong to that country where use of Bitcoin is legally but use of bitcoin is not legal for the that person B ( example like Russia , Bangladesh ) .

What is wrong according to you? I already pointed out that you can send/pick up your money through WU points. WU point can be a WU branded shop where you can walk into, or just a postal office (or whatever other merchant type) that acts as a WU agent.

yes it's also easy online to sell with WU and get cash in hands, but for transaction that are sent to a stranger in the other part of the world they charge you up to $30 or more, which is crazy for me, with bitcoin i'll never pay so much even now that fee are so high

People are comparing almost everything with bitcoin. And expect to see more comparison about bitcoin vs everything. But when it comes to service I do love both, I've got relatives that doesn't have knowledge with bitcoin and I don't have choice but to use WU when remitting and receiving money from abroad.
