You will just receive 225,000 x 2779531 = NEW IOTAS YOU GET. I have the same question. I'm currently in an escrow deal, wondering if GUI launch tomorrow is safe for us to initiate IOTA transfer or will it reset?
BTW if someone sends me 'old IOTA' to the address in GUI, will it automatically convert to new?
Today We will test GUI and after that will be possible to say our next steps. It's not possible to send old IOTAs, We have only new IOTAs Someone is trying to make a deal in terms of 'old IOTA'. How does that work then? He shouldn't, he should only use new iotas, old iotas died months ago. You are going to have to ask the AE token seller. This wasn't official. There were 2-4 of such assets created. |

There are no old iotas. They don't exist anymore. Every seller still trying to sell old iotas now is a potential scammer in my eyes. Be careful. |

GUI and website will also come tomorrow ~noon in Europe/early morning US as there was a delay in some files that didn't arrive in time, and while we could technically launch both in about an hour or two it would make no sense as the majority of people are asleep/going into inactive mode. In the meanwhile everyone should line up to help with documentation and PoCs which I have requested for months now, without it we won't get dev adoption and a handful of people can't do it all alone. |

When is the launch? I have been waiting for some time and no news?? I was told that only the GUI wallet was needed for launch? Official launch date will be announced tonight. The GUI and website launch of today is still beta stage, the official IOTA launch won't happen over a random forum post, there'll be tweaking left to be done to GUI, website and the only thing that matters: core client. But the current incarnation of the simple GUI is as userfriendly as physically possible, enabling everyone to donate to Foundation, test the network for themselves, complete pending trades etc. |
