Your JRE edition is 64bit?

Yea, JRE 7u79 64bit

Try Installing JRE 8u91 64bit, that worked for me!

edit: who has 7 nodes they can send me?

Actually, the nodes should be exchanged individually, for best safety and strength of the network. So, providing nodes list is not at all advisable.

I've just sent you a PM with my node. But the best place to get nodes is at http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/meet-your-neighbours-exchange-ip-domain-of-your-nodes-here/60 Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

When I try and install latest IOTA wallet I get this error

During install I was prompted to install Java update, which I did. Any ideas?

Another guy in Iota chat with the same problem deleted the file "settings.json" in user/appdata/roaming/IOTA wallet and after a restart it was solved.

Thanks, but still got the same error. Then I Uninstalled Java and IOTA and re-installed both, but getting same error still ...

i had a same problem and deleting  file "settings.json" in user/appdata/roaming/IOTA wallet HELPED

Initialization Alert problem

Here are a couple ways that can help in resolving the problem of 'Initialization Alert'.

Try Installing JRE 8u91 64bit, that worked for me!

Install the correct Java version on your computer. If you have Windows 64-bit, install Java for 64-bit version.

You can download Java manually here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/server-jre8-downloads-2133154.html

Here you can find also .exe files:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-javase8-2177648.html

click on 'Java SE Development Kit 8u77'

select slightly lower down 'Accept License Agreement' at 'Java SE Runtime Environment 8u77', then select 'jre-8u77-windows-x64.exe' for Windows x64 or 'jre-8u77-windows-i586.exe' for Windows x86.

Install Java. That must help.

There is nothing in my history. Thats why I asked. So was there a replay or not?

I'm not sure what you mean by "replay". Just claim your iotas now.

I ment the replay after rollback. Someone said, there will be replay of those transactions.
Anyway, should it be like this several hours after claiming?

You are not connected to the network. Add more neighbors.

Nice client.

I donated more than I promised.

Good luck with Foundation.

It seems that I didn't donate anything? Only one number in history and balance is 0. I collected 7 IP address and was online more than 24h.

Donation upon claiming is handled like this: You just claim less iotas, thus you only see one amount.
If you see an amount that is lower than your original amount in history, it's all good.

I collected 7 IP address and was online more than 24h.

If those nodes were offline you can't sync. The wallet could have a network condition indicator to make detecting that easier imo. Now you can go to the menu and see what your neighbor nodes are doing (i.e. do you get any packets back from them or not) and add more nodes to find online ones if needed.

it's due to the fact you used 0.9.23c which is a special version.
you will have to wait until Friday (or Saturday? not sure) in order to see your balance and donation. Don't worry many guys are I nthe same case.

We have to claim IOTAs again?  Even though we already did this months ago?

OK, so I downloaded the client and am ready for nodes.  I guess we have to ask for them like this because nobody can publish a list.  Am I correct, or am I just repeating FUD?

I am just doing what this tutorial says:

A good tutorial for the GUI wallet to start with -  http://necropaz.github.io/IOTAtutorial.html

Please can I have node list of 7 nodes so I can claim my IOTAs for the second time and donate.

When is deadline? How to claim?
