What a night! 2 teams from the 2021 finals got eliminated on the same night both in the 2nd round and game 7s.
It would be a surprise If Dallas will win the WCF. I'm kinda excited what would Luka Doncic do in the WCF or the Finals If they're good enough to beat the Warriors.
While at the same time, I am hoping for the Celtics to finally go to the Finals after LeBron deprived them from doing so before.

I really cant understand what pass yesterday, i cant belive how a team like Milwaukee can shoot 4/33 form 3 point.
And in the other key how Phoenix can play so bad in a game 7.

Not only this, we are expecting two games with clutch moments but..... 30 points diference in both matchs, nobody sees this.

Both of the games last night were fascinating. First, we saw how amazingly Celtics crushed Bucks by a nearly thirty-point gap. They were so incredible about three pointers that was crucial for this comfortable win surely. And as for the other game, Mavericks destroyed Suns very unexpectedly too. Suns were just struggling too much that they were really desperate about resisting Mavericks. Doncic played as always but Dinwiddie and Brunson's big contribution was also very important.

Nope for me, it wasn't exciting like what I expected it to see. the game was not even close, it was a blowout win by the winning teams. The 2nd game was very unexpected, who would have thought that the Dallas Mavericks will beat the Suns on their home court in game 7, not even in my dreams.

That home court advantage of the Suns still amazed me on how the Mavs have that confidence shooting outside and takes more

3 points than the Sun who supposedly the one who will dominate and control the game, upset is always possible and for sure most of

the bettors are still thinking, how come the Mavs take that huge lead ending the series inside the Sun's home court?

Moving on.. East and West finals will be sure to be more interesting. Can Luka continue to have this level of hype or Warriors have someone

to limit his productions. Question that can only be answered once the west finals start to roll.

Suns already down by 40 points and it's just the third quarter. No team can ever come back from that with only one quarter remaining. I thought Bucks exit was a bit embarrassing because of the point gap but this is even a more shameful way to get eliminated. Anyway, congrats to the Mavs for returning to the Western Conference Finals after so many years. Warriors in 5 (or 6) Grin

Two heavy teams in the league were eliminated on the same day with a huge gap in scores. The Phoenix Suns won the most embarrassing award today for having a 33 points deficit and in 2 consecutive seasons after having a good 2-0 run compared to the defending champion, the Milwaukee Bucks.

I'm also rooting and cheering for the Warriors moment to reach the Finals this season because my bet was on them as well, but they are against the Dallas Mavericks who have a power center and a much bigger plays than them but I know experience will speak more.

I guess they will say now that Middleton is a big loss for the Bucks. They don't have a shooter to rely on to space the floor and someone who can be a run stopper. Defense of the Bucks was not as high as they played in Game 3 where they shut down Tatum at 10 points and I don't like the idea of letting Grant Williams shoot outside while they block the paint, one of the reason why they loss badly. Adjustments is the big trick and then the bench points.

Yes, he was a big loss, but Celtics really are a strong team, they played very well in the last game and one guy from the Celtics roster showed up, it was Grant Williams, he had a big night offensively.
Sure is. I am not a Celtics fan but that kind of performance is worth to watch. Not just Grant Williams, Jayson Tatum proving why he is the face of the Celtics and stepped up his game when they needed him the most. He must have looked at the mirror long enough to reflect about his worst performance in Game 3 and he changed it way far that we would forget about it.
He reminds me a bit of Kobe and I think being one of his students he got the charisma from him and some identical signatures.

Looking at the current teams that are left, I could say that the best player left in the playoffs right now "might" be Luka, he doesn't have that kind of help, other teams have more all around rosters but the best player could be Luka.

Yes, I am aware that Curry is still there but he is not playing like the player he used to be, he had an amazing start to the season but during these playoffs he hasn't been that 10 threes per game type of curry that we know of, hence I said "might". I agree that Curry is normally much better player than Luka, but if we look at the previous series versus memphis and mavs had with Suns, I would pick Luka vs Suns over Curry against Memphis.

I also ask myself this same question...
I never in my life imagined that both of these teams could lose Game 7 like this way.
Being that in the finals of last season they were competing for which team would be the champion!

In fact basketball is a box of chocolates, you never know what may happen

Dinwiddie and Brunson's duo is sure to be feared, I mean, Brunson could even attack the tallest player in the paint and can still shoot it and the same goes for Luka.

My concern is on Spence Dinwiddie. Looks like he's still adjusting to the playoffs environment although his average got improved in this Suns series. Almost the entire Dallas Mavericks are first time in playoffs especially here in the Western Conference Finals that's why I look forward to him that he will find his consistency in every game since being pressured is no room in playoffs. He is really good and Dallas Mavericks will be a big threat to the remaining teams if he founds his rhythm.

Prior to the first round of their playoffs series, I even thought Dinwiddie will be the number 2 but Jalen Brunson did. I have no problem with Brunson as he really allows Luka to be the playmaker and he's there doing his best as a backup. And when Luka is not on the floor, Jalen Brunson will take over and he is doing a great job taking the playmaking decision.

Jalen Brunson is really different compared to when Luka is paired with Dennis Smith Jr. and Kristap Porzingis. It's a good decision that the Mavericks traded these players as they were "orb-effect" to Luka. (DOTA term Cheesy)

After leaving incredible matchups behind in the conference semi-finals, we see these ones in the current stage:

Miami Heat - Boston Celtics
Golden State Warriors - Dallas Mavericks

I believe each one of them is going to be hell of a series. For the first one, I'm favouring Celtics to advance the NBA finals. After seeing how they believed and performed against Bucks, I also started to believe they can at least make it to the finals. And for the latter, I don't have any favourite for now. But if Mavericks play like this again then Warriors had better be ready for a huge challenge.

For sure both series will be very close and unpredictable. In the East it will be the top 2 seeds that will play. And it's really hard to say who will win because how good this teams are. They have both legitimate stars to carry the team. But I will have to disagree though, I will just based it on experience here. The Heat has the edge and so is the Warriors. We know Jimmy Butler fought hard against Lebron on the bubble. And the Warriors have been champions before.

Has to be a dead heat.  No pun intended there.  I picked celts to move past Miami but it can just as easily go the other way.  Miami has been clearing teams out.  Jimmy B is playing as good as I've ever seen him.  Gonna be a fun series either way.

I'll be sticking with my prediction.
Warriors Vs. Celtics in the NBA Finals.

With how the Celtics played in Game 7, I'm pretty convinced that they have a chance to defeat the Heat. The Celtics are known for their great defense but they also are a good three point shooting team and we've seen it against the Bucks in the last game. 20 threes? If Grant Williams will play like that all throughout the series, they have a chance because I think he is the game changer. If his threes will sink, they can defeat the Heat.

On the other conference, I'll go with the Warriors here but with how the Mavericks won against the Suns in Game 7 there is a bit of doubt in my prediction already. I mean Luka is Luka already but if Dinwiddie and Brunson stepped up offensively as well, they can get wins but I still believe that the Warriors can win with this one. The offense of the Warriors is just amazing. Lethal Weapon 3 Cheesy. If Curry, Thompson and Poole and lets add Wiggins as well will sink threes, they will win for sure.

I'm personally pretty disappointed that this is the field as we get down to the end of the season.  The Warriors are the only team there that I enjoy watching, but the other teams are obviously good to have gotten this far.  As the NBA superstar players we've enjoyed watching over the last ten years get old, I guess we've got to get used to the young less known players taking over the league.  I feel like going forward it's going to become more clear that this is a young man's game and the days of paying a ton of money for superteams instead of getting good young players are going to be further and further behind.  Contracts like Westbrook's and Wall's are going to be reminders of just how insane things got in the NBA during it's heyday.  Although with the NBA eyeing a 75 billion dollar telecasting deal, maybe the contracts will get even more insane...  You can bet the NBA is trying like hell to finalize that deal before the coming recession...

If him and Taytum are going to play consistent in this series, then it's going to be an even field. As you have said, Butler is playing like he was in the bubble and seems to be proving himself and the team after a dismal performance last year. Now they are just one step to the finals agains the Boston Celtics so yeah, why not after game 7 series?

Jalen Brunson is really different compared to when Luka is paired with Dennis Smith Jr. and Kristap Porzingis. It's a good decision that the Mavericks traded these players as they were "orb-effect" to Luka. (DOTA term Cheesy)
Haha. So true.
About Dinwiddie, I am a fan back at Nets when he was the one carrying the team with the support of Harris while their 2 stars are injured. Consistency is his problem because he was not given the right break. Now is his time to show what he is really meant to do. He had the playmaking skills and the agility to attack the paint, I won't rely too much on shooting outside since the Warriors don't really have a shot blocker.
If Luka will be defended by Wiggins or Klay, it will all be up to their roleplayers to step up. No disrespect to Steph Curry's defense but the Mavs should attack more if he is the one defending.

Luka will never be defeated, his type of play is very unstoppable,  the more he gets pressured, the more he gets better. Actually, the problem of Mavs on the Suns series on why they loss some games is the inconsistency of his teammates, but Luka was always there to produce.

I doubt the Miami Heat will leave Grant Williams like that. I watched the entire game of Bucks versus Celtics and I saw the Bucks letting Williams shoot all those threes like a free shot on a practice game. The Heat never played like that, as much as possible everyone will be defended inside or outside the floor.
So after I lose my prediction (Bucks vs Suns) I am changing it to Warriors vs Heat at the Finals. I hope I am correct this time.
Do you guys think a sweep could happen?

Did Kobe also trained Jayson Tatum before? Wow! I didn't know that, what I know was is that Durant also used to train the Celtics superstar before when I think Tatum was still a high school student or somewhere in his younger years.

Anyway, Tatum and the rest of Celtics roster did a good job on defeating and eliminating two heavy teams in the league this season. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it will be the Boston Celtics vs Dallas Mavericks who will play on the Finals.

I'm also rooting for it, though I know they can always go for a head to head game with the Miami Heat but that won't come easy especially when the Heat is also healthy like them but I know they can find a way. They've defeated good teams already and it's not like that they will just give-up easily when they are this close in the Finals.

About Mavericks vs Warriors, I've placed some bets for the Warriors on their 1st game later as I know they have much advantage than the Mavericks but later on, I will think twice again because it's clear that Luka can adjust well like they did against the Suns.

I'll be sticking with my prediction.

Yeah, Grant Williams had a great performance in decisive Game 7, and there's no doubt that the Celtics were able to win the Bucks because of him. However, it's worth noting that he doesn't always perform so well. If you look at his stats, you'll see that he scored nothing in Game 5 and only 2 points in Game 6. So the Celtics obviously shouldn't rely on him during their upcoming games against the Heat.

We are finally starting the conference finals tonight. If somehow Mavs end up beating Warriors, we are finally going to see a brand new team becoming champions. Obviously Celtics has a ton of rings, but they haven't won one in over a decade, so it should be new for the era we are in right now, Heat managed to get to finals, but ended up losing to Lakers during bubble period, and Mavs last won one with Dirk, so that was a long time ago as well, about a decade so far right?

This is why this finals will be very entertaining to me if Warriors end up losing, I love them and all, but I would like to see someone new end up winning the title.
