So many rumors lurking around after the championship win by the Warriors. One of them is cutting the luxury tax.
This will not be easy for the team to let go some of their players as they really did great in their run to achieve the best ending. And, they have rookies who are proving worthy to be kept. Kuminga especially who might be their next key if they want a back to back championship. We know their weak point is the paint but with Kuminga gaining more experience they may patch that big hole that had been missing in the team. A backup player for Draymond and Looney.

That is surely a challenge for the management whom to keep and the Golden State Warriors really need to sacrifice some of their players and that's inevitable, it won't be easy for sure but they don't have a choice either. IIRC, the LA Lakers have let Alex Caruso because of the same problem. IMO, if they would let of their players go, I think that would be Porter Jr. or Looney. They don't want to let some of their new assets in the court for sure.

As for Kuminga, I'm sure they will keep them and give him more exposure as he's indeed needed at the center. The same goes for James Wiseman, the kid needs to be utilized more as his size could make a difference at the paint.

Warriors have had a huge dominance in the recent ten years in NBA. They were able to get to the finals most of the time even if they didn't win at the end sometimes. They won another championship this season and I really wonder if there will be another team or teams to stop them for some years. I started to think that Warriors can't be stopped that easy as long as they have especially Curry. Besides Curry, the rest of the team are performing really nicely too. We have started to watch them playing better as a team too.

As the Lakers rumors start to heat up, the latest nonsense is that they're going to do a sign and trade to acquire Bradley Beal.  I don't know how on earth they could pull this off with the salary cap and saying they're going to keep Russell Westbrook, but for some reason they seem to think it's a possibility.  Personally I think they should be targeting Demar Derozan, but he actually wants to be a Laker so maybe they figure they'll be able to get him down the road or something...  Funny to see crazy rumors already about the Lakers.

Luxury tax? I bet the Buss Family is pushing one more championship before Lebron retires and it best be now or next year will be another age count that would make his performance decline.
If they are pushing something big, I'll take Westbrook out and fill it with roleplayers. Trade WB for one star or 3 good players that have strong championship desires and put AD as the main focus for their offense. All he needs is to be healthy the whole season and maybe they could end up in a good spot again.
I don't like the way their roster was made last season piling it with stars with strong egos. Young players might suit the leadership of Lebron.

Obviously they are not going to get all of them all at once. The idea is that if they could get Westbrook traded somehow, and get any of those names, then they could combine bunch of players and get another one. We all know very well that they are not really that good to do that, no way they can do that, they do not even have any picks to offer as far as I know, hence its not going to happen. Lets say they somehow managed to get Westbrook and Kyrie traded straigth up, would be tough but could be done. Even in that case, to get someone like Beal, I mean even if they combine like 4 players together which would be weird, they do not have that kind of 4 players which they used in AD trade. So its mathematically and logically impossible to get anything extra.

I think they need an attacker, DeRozan should be a good fit with the Lakers if they will allow him to play his game.

Trading wouldn't be enough. I mean if they trade westbrook and get someone like wall, then they will have another contract clogging it up. Plus AD doesn't seem like the type of player who will help them neither, I personally believe that he gets injured a lot, and when he comes back he doesn't really play that well until he finds his shots.

This is going to be a terrible year for them again, they will not be playing well at all. I guess everyone will hate it, but rebuilding process needs to start, get some picks for trading away westbrook and AD, get bad contracts, suck for a few years, and then use those assets to get a better player and repeat the 2020 championship the same way.

Yeah, I think we can see that the Nets management is not happy with Kyrie because of the drama and then his poor performance in the first round against the Celtics. And reports says that their is no negotiations and it was stagnant. So I'm expecting him to be ship to another team, just a question on which one. The Warriors championship fever is not over.

The team he leaves always ends up doing better. Kyrie doesn't put the team first. He was doing that for himself. Lakers doesn't really need more specially Kyrie and same on others sentiment or impression that this guy isn't bad but basketball is a team gameplay, yes he's good but not really good enough and we aren't blind on not to see things.Bringing kyrie on Lakers isn't a good idea but hey it is still rumors and we know neither this one could happen or not.Change in roster and members isn't something new but building powerhoise teams is the main target as always as long their budget permits.We've seen on how many teams do able to acquire a couple of superstars but still ending up on not to be that effective since they do lack

Correct, I think Durant's know that, he needed Kyrie's help last year but he is absent. Rumors as well that Kyrie and Westbrook traded, but again this is not confirmed.

But if Kyrie started to play good early and zone-in, the Nets will be a different team next season. They are still the second favorite as far as betting odds goes to win the championship next year, behind the Warriors and tied with Celtics.

Russell Westbrook might remain the Los Angeles Lakers. Maybe the organization wants to give him a chance to redeem himself. Although Westbrook becomes the not usual Westbrook during his Oklahoma City Thunders day, he is still one of the considered athletic point guards in the league. He still has that quick move, and good dribbling but his field goal percentage noticeably got lowered during his Lakers days even if Lebron or AD is not playing alongside him.

Lakers don't need another ball hogger. Kyrie Irving should not be considered by the Lakers even if there's no problem with the salary cap. What they need is to ensure that Anthony Davis will play healthy all season long. They are honestly wasting money on this young big man. Lebron can't carry anymore a team.

Honestly, it's not a terrible move for the Brooklyn Nets if the goal was to get rid of Kyrie Irving's continuous drama and him being with a high ego. Take note that Brooklyn Nets gambled everything just for him for 2 seasons and didn't get the service they are looking for with Kyrie.

Lots of things happened while Kyrie is on-board and the Nets have no choice but to just allow him to do what he wants.

LeBron James still has some good qualities and also he is still a great player but I also think that he probably doesn't have the best left in him. Especially when it comes to carrying the whole team.

Lakers building a super team aren't they? Signing the players they want to sign even it is beyond their salary cap. Westbrook and Lebron alone covers a huge portion of their salary cap. With how Westbrook played last season, I don't think that any team/s would be interested in getting him and lets take note how much they will be paying him so most likely, he will stay with the Lakers alongside Lebron and Davis. With their new coach (Darvin Ham), maybe we might see a new Lakers next season (me just being optimistic).

On the other hand, who will be happy with how Kyrie played last season. The drama he made with his team (Nets) is just enough for the management to not sign him. If he only got vaccinated and played the whole season, it might be a different situation for the Nets team. Still, it's only a few days since the NBA Finals ended and these are only rumors. For me it's ok to hear those chatter behind, it's very competitive out there so they players need to fuel more fire inside of them and proved them wrong. Just like what the Warriors did this season, they said that they can't be a champion without Durant, and they did. They said that Curry can't win FMVP and he did. And in the end, Warriors hear all those noises behind and turn it into a motivation. Lakes should to the same instead of being affected negatively.

Another rumor is John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks is being traded to Sacramento.
The lack of skill being a power forward is not seen in him and I guess the injury has something to do with it. The Atlanta Hawks are almost a complete team with a great pointguard Trae Young, center Capela, 2 shooters Bogdan Bogdanovic and Kevin Huerter, then add the veterans Gallinari and Lou Williams to fortify their 2nd team in case they need a substitution.
It's difficult to find what the missing piece is, but I think its just better chemistry and a higher level of defense.

They're just saying they could retain Westbrook coz they might be looking for a perfect piece to trade Westbrook. I mean they had the whole season, it didn't work, Westbrook does not fit to the Lakers system. Darvin Ham should perform a magic trick if he decides to retain Westbrook and the Lakers big 3 to make it work. There's still chances for them though, but a big adjustments must be done. Limit turnovers, play defense, and be more consistent offensively specifically in the 2nd half and crunch time.
