Usually, that's what we see. When a player like someone from the bench became popular and showed how great he is. There will be a raise once the contract ends. And for sure that renewal is going to be there but it also depends on the other teams offer if it's higher than the salary. But I hope that most of them retain and will do the same as what Curry have done for his career of just staying in the Warriors.
For sure, he will get what he deserved once his contract ends. He will be offered more because he showed a lot of promised early without Klay as being as the other half of the Splash Brothers. But when Klay comes back, he embraces himself as the 3rd man and then coming off the bench. Maybe next year he will get the 6th man award? coming off the bench and giving the Warriors 20+ a night. That will be huge, similar to Hero, this season 6th man. Well, let's just see how this man will progress as he's one of the promising teammates there. And we just love to see all of them stay and I think that the Warriors management is fond of just allowing their players to stay and if someone wants to go away, they'll just allow it. So, they're all in favor of anyone who has a request to go out and in as long as it will help them grow and as well as the team to grow as well.

So if his contract is up, then maybe he will get a bump from his salary because of how the give for the Warriors this season. It's hard though as the Warriors has spend too much money already for this big 3. He will be a good catch for every team, might be like the situation of Caruso with the Lakers before. But when he get out he was being offered huge salary.

I've seen those players that have taken the spotlight during the finals and they were traded afterward because their contract expired and as well as a good offer has come to get them. That's inevitable and for these players to grow, they have to accept that since they've got not exclusive contract that wants them to retain with the team unless it will actually come from the GSW management itself that will offer them to stay.
He can do that as well, make a salary cut just to stay with the Warriors and chase another ring. Admit it or not, we are surprised on how good Wiggins is with the Warriors this season. When he was with the Wolves, he was very inconsistent and that what the Wolves trade him. But if he doesn't want to have a pay cut, then I guess there will be no choice for the Warriors management, they could let go of him and then look for other options or even developed their own players. Yeah, no doubt that he did well with them. Well, as someone who has gotten a ring, will he be willing to stay and take a cut? I don't know. I don't have an idea how things work with these things on them. But one thing for sure is that he'll probably get a raise or at least everyone from them, a raise not in a manner of salary but probably playing time and that's what he needed to go on the peak for his career.

Kuminga is good but he does not play the Center position, they need a center who can defend the paint and we saw that even Looney is not enough to defend the bigs of their opponent. They need someone that is healthy and who can play defense consistently, I think that's their focus for the next season to come.
I have to disagree that Golden State Warriors are really eyeing a Big Man to enhance and improved their defensive phase. It's been several seasons already where they are always playing a small ball. Instead of covering what's lacking in their defense, they are destroying their opponents with a good field goal percentage. That strategy is proven and effective since then. No need for them to fill the gap for a Center position. And besides, even with a small ball, it's not that they are totally not good in defense. There are several times here in the playoffs where they are able to limit their opponent's offensive phase. Just for a recap, the Nuggets, Grizzlies, Mavericks, and Celtics are all good teams with a good FG % in the recent season but not a problem actually for the Warriors.

Warriors play small ball, generally speaking. Smaller players are quicker on rotations which is what GSW thrive on. Horford did have a really good game because of it, but with quick help and making sure he doesnt get 1v1, they covered each other pretty well. Made it hard for Celtics to isolate a player and get to the rim easier, as one would try to do against small ball.

Horford had a good series because he is shooting the ball outside, he is not taking advantage of his height. And yes the Warriors play small ball and they are quick, even their supposedly center, Draymond is small for his position. But look at how he pushes the phase that Horford or even Williams can't catch up with him. And then easy pass to Curry or Klay for a 3 in transition. And we also did see how they take advantage of Horford, just a simple screen and he has to guard Curry in which he can get past him because big Al is slow. Again another good looks or isolation play by Curry and penetration drive.

They have Wiseman already and he is enough to fill that Center position. 2nd big? Looney will be their next choice of with how Looney played this past season, it might interchange. Looney as their primary center while Wiseman is their 2nd choice. In the end, the Warriors spent many seasons playing small ball already so having a Center isn't a problem for them. Kuminga is athletic and tall as well and I believe that he can still play the Center position but not as efficient as other bigs out there. After all, the Warriors are known for their small ball. Quicker rotation and more shooters as well.
I thought that the conversation with the Warriors and Celtics is over already because the season is over. Anybody here observing the moves and trades of different teams this off-season? The Mavericks already did a big trade and a win trade for them as they got Christian Wood in exchange for some bench players and draft picks. Luka now has a pick and roll buddy though he lost a real life buddy in Boban which is kinda sad ;(.

Remember that in this league and with the type of mindset players and agents have, they will after for the money more than after the ring.

That's the first big trade that I have seen reported by Woj. Yeah, it's sad to see Boban leaving the Mavs as he was a part of where they get their energy before the game starts. Most of the movements now are about the coaching staff and here's one of it. ESPN Sources: Kenny Atkinson has decided he won’t become the Charlotte Hornets’ head coach and will remain with Golden State as top assistant. After being offered job during the NBA Finals, further conversations led Atkinson to believe it would be best to remain with Warriors. https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1538242688654385153?s=20&t=A240y6ih9D04k4R8HWYSZwTwo are left for the Charlotte coach position namely Mike D'Antoni and Terry Stotts. They are a run-and-gun style of a team with young core players on their roster, Mike D'Antoni might best suit their need for he is known for that type of offensive play but they need an assistant who will focus on defense.

^^ Yes, and we might say it's a good decision on his part. Maybe he is not really prepared to be a head coach for now and wanted to learn more from Steve Kerr, or simply just want to continue with the winnings attitude in Golden State that's why he chooses to stay.
Probably Mike D'Antoni will be better suited for Charlotte as a head coach. He has a proven method already and it's could be a perfect fit it he is going to be hired by the Jordan.

So it's a win-win for him if the Warriors have no choice but to let him go. And as I have said, that salary offer for him will be good that he might not have a second thoughts of him leaving the team that gave him his first ring and hopefully he can developed more somewhere else.

Money wise, and in my own opinion he can stand up even he will play in any team inside NBA, With the way GSW developed him, and now that he's already comfortable with the game he has, he was once a ROY and he can be a good addition to any team that he will play outside the Warriors. he can work it out and continue to enhance his skills. Aside from serious injury, there's nothing that can stop him from making his way creating his own resume and be one of the elite stars in this league.

In general, they are really the better team, but just in case they will try to improve their weakness, who knows if their opponent will find a way to beat them because of their lack of size. I don't know, but I have a feeling if the LA Lakers (with a championship form) were the one who play the Warriors, I think they will lose, but then again, my opinion could be wrong as well.

If no higher offer but he's being allowed to stay for the Warriors, he has no choice but he's still good with a good team to stay and get another ring for the next season. It's not going to be easy but they've been there and his mates are veterans already that have enough experience and they can do it again all together.

We've seen him progressed already, from a first five player when Thompson is out to a 6th man coming from the bench. And he has a good series or playoffs, becoming the 4th scoring options. Well, if he's out for sure there's a bigger offer that he can never ignore. While they're at their best, they have to choose wisely. If no higher offer but he's being allowed to stay for the Warriors, he has no choice but he's still good with a good team to stay and get another ring for the next season. It's not going to be easy but they've been there and his mates are veterans already that have enough experience and they can do it again all together. Klay Thompson's performance is understandable, he is still a huge factor for the success of the Warriors this season, he was not 100% but he gave everything he can to help the team, and if we all remember, Thompson had some big game especially game 6 against the Grizz where they close the series, and to be honest, Grizz scare the Warriors a bit due to their good bounce back games.

As the Lakers rumors start to heat up, the latest nonsense is that they're going to do a sign and trade to acquire Bradley Beal. I don't know how on earth they could pull this off with the salary cap and saying they're going to keep Russell Westbrook, but for some reason they seem to think it's a possibility. Personally I think they should be targeting Demar Derozan, but he actually wants to be a Laker so maybe they figure they'll be able to get him down the road or something... Funny to see crazy rumors already about the Lakers.

They need to trade Westbrook if they want to sign another star player. Westbrook has the biggest salary in the team but he is the most inconsistent, so what's the reason of keeping him? https://www.espn.ph/nba/team/roster/_/name/lal/sort/salary/dir/desc/los-angeles-lakersI think they need an attacker, DeRozan should be a good fit with the Lakers if they will allow him to play his game.

There's no doubt that the Lakers will have a lot of roster changes this offseason. However, I guess they won't sign DeRozan since he usually plays the same position as LeBron. I just doubt that DeRozan and Lebron could share playing time on the court with each other. As for Westbrook, the Lakers management would be making a big mistake if they decide to keep him next season.

First off why would the bulls look to move derozen, and second it would take a lot to get demar so I can't see a win win situation here with the derozen to the Lakers. Just seems like a non starter.

Many players can have a chilling effect when it is the Finals and there are players that changing the way they approach the shooting stand, and nobody is safe even though you are a veteran, any player can certainly feel it, but in Klay Thompson's case he comes from an injury and never had a chance to recover smoothly so I think he still feeling it, but he has still done a great job with the defense and surely mostly on the offense, so it was really a great thing seeing these three play together again, As the Lakers rumors start to heat up, the latest nonsense is that they're going to do a sign and trade to acquire Bradley Beal. I really think Demar Derozan could be a great addition to their team but I am not counting on it so much, I think they will have an eye for the new draft than with the old ones in the NBA, and as you have said their salary cap would not make it if they are keeping Russel Westbrook on their team, so I think they will focus more on the new draft and home for the best season to come, I think there are eyeing on Keon Ellis of Alabama and Jabari Walker of Colorado because rumors are just heard say and no concluded evidence that they are real,
