It seems that Boston Celtics have made a huge mess by losing too many home games in the NBA finals against Golden State Warriors. Even with the support of the home fans cheering for Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors are still able to beat Boston Celtics by more than 8 points during the last 2 away games, I guess Golden State Warriors truly deserves to win the NBA title this season.

Yes, they do. They worked really hard for it and we saw how exhausted they are each game going full blast at their high level of defense against the Celtics duo who gave them a very difficult time. Andrew Wiggins precisely, without him the Warriors might have been in big trouble finding the right man to defend Tatum. Payton won't be enough and they cannot sacrifice Draymond to do it as they will be in trouble getting the rebound. Klay is also not a good match as there are traces of mental issues from his injury.
So yes, thumbs up to the 2nd MVP Wiggins, if only that kind of award exists.

I appreciated Warriors' performance too much against Celtics. They were always able to find a solution to Celtics' effort to catch up with them. Curry's performance was really amazing but he wasn't the only impressive player for them of course. I really liked to watch Draymond Green's performance too. It is like everyone in Warriors team can make three pointers.    This is a really great advantage for them too. Celtics were helpless against them at a point. It was still a good journey for Celtics though.

As expected Golden state warriors won the NBA title. This was pretty much expected when Klay Thompson returned to the floor and its shown that Curry/Thompson is one of the best duos in history of Basketball. Boston was still close to making it game 7 but it just wasnt enough for them

It was a great year in the NBA.  Lots of frustration and disappointment surrounding superteams like the Lakers and Nets.  Kyrie held his ground on the covid nonsense.  Ben Simmons sat out with hurt feelings.  James Harden and Russell Westbrook showed they are no longer top tier NBA players.  Zion didn't play and blew up like a balloon.  LeBron showed he can still put up huge numbers.  Giannis showed continued improvement.  Embiid nearly carried his team to the Finals with a broken eye socket.  

Looking forward to next year and what moves happen in the offseason.  I'm expecting the Lakers to attempt to trade Westbrook, but likely find no suitors.  I think DeRozan and Beal will likely find new teams.  Ayton is as good as gone from Phoenix...  I'm already excited to see some moves being made.  Bring on the 22-23 season!

I'm really sad about Celtics to lose the sixth game and the title at the same.     I was favouring them in the final series to reach the championship after a break like 15 years. I didn't see a very solid team effort in this game from them and this was the thing that I was angry with the most. Warriors had so many spaces and punished them for that. I saw Horford and Brown making a really good effort for Celtics here. In the last moments of the third quarter, Horford was really great and fired up the team. Brown was also continuing to bank in really hard shots. But it was really hard to stop Curry and his friends.

Congrats to Warriors and their fans! I respect their effort so far a lot.  

I was rooting for the Celtics since the playoffs started. I believe in them in reaching the finals and they actually did eventually. When they were in the Finals and steal game 1, I started to gain confidence that they'll gonna win it all this year. Unfortunately, after game 3 they got exposed. Tatum disappeared and the Warriors playing on a high level like they were from the last 3 championship.
I feel sorry for Horford, but at least he have experienced the finals in his career.

Warriors deserves it, Steph deserves it.

We all just begun showing some good faith in Celtics when they suddenly clutched before the regular games has ended, we know they haven't had a good start this season but they showed improvement as time goes by and honestly, they did good considering that this is their first time participating in playoffs and especially Finals where they faced the Warriors.

I, for one, also wanted to see some fresh faces winning the title this season but the truth is that doesn't comes easy as there are teams like the Warriors who got the experience needed even though there's more team out there who's also hungry but unfortunately, they don't have what it takes yet. As for the Boston Celtics, their careers are not over yet and the good thing is that they are now an experienced team so better start fresh next season and absorb what happened recently this coming summer to improve more.

On the one hand, he averaged over 21 points per game throughout this series, and on the other hand, he hasn't had impressive performances and hasn't looked like a team leader. In any case, congratulations to the Warriors for winning the championship and another ring. They clearly deserved it, especially Curry and Wiggins.

I beg to disagree though, many analyst predict that GSW might sweep the series or most 4-2 against Boston and that was the final score in the series. They just caught the Warriors in game 1, and then won at home in game 3. But after that the true championship pedigree was at full display, specially Curry having a monster game 4 to tie the series and that's it. They got into their zone and won 3 games in row.

Right, we have been discussing this, the Warriors has the DNA of a champion and has been in this situations with Curry, Thompson and Green. And now they have the new guys, but still the outcome is still the same. I would say Tatum has a good performance in the finals, but it's not his breakout, his against Durant in the first round and then against Giannis might be his best in this series. But for sure, having lost this year, they will be back next season wanting more and to win that NBA trophy.

As expected, the Golden State Warriors won the NBA finals and does not let the series be extended to game 7.  I thought Boston would get the game 6 because of how strong they started the 1st quarter giving 14-2  but sadly they fell short at the end losing the game.  
Just for fun fact, This game 6 also recorded how the Golden State Warrior went on the single longest scoring run in the last 50 years of NBA Finals history: 21-0.^[1]

You should not include Kevin Durant in the topic even he's part of the Golden State Warriors organization before. The Warriors are built from a scratch and can win a championship even without Kevin Durant and they did that twice already. The notable one is their current Championship as they are composed of young players. Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson came too from a big hiatus too because of their injury after being rested at their Finals appearance.

I can say that on all their championship, the first and fourth are special.

Well done to all, to the players that have been part of this championship again by the Warriors. All of them did well. Now, another exciting part is going to come to the NBA and that's the roster shuffle and players jumping from their current team to another and some exclusive contracts.

I hope the key players of the Warriors will remain, Poole deserved to have a high salary as his impact int he playoffs was really huge.

Embiid may try taking that MVP next season as long as he keeps himself healthy. Nikola Jokic also improving and their Nuggets team has a chance to be complete again with Murray and Michael Porter Jr. back. That's one more team that will compete at a high level and have a chance to play for the championship.
Phoenix Suns Chris Paul, I am waiting for this guy to achieve his goal. Will he be a player like Steve Nash and Reggie Miller who is unable to get a ring?
Memphis Grizzlies is also something to look at, they have been grinding and becoming experienced players.

That is why the Warriors are a good management as a whole. They aren't getting players just to have somebody to play to the team, but they are developing them for the future of the team and the league as well.

The best example is McGee. We know how awful he is playing when he is still in Washington and in Denver, but look how he is after staying with the Warriors for years. Now he got traded to the Suns, and it's a win-win for the team and McGee because McGee now has a higher value. Looking at the roster of Warriors, we see that they have some G-league players like Payton, Poole, JTA and got 2 rookies in Kuminga and Moody.

The Warriors management are getting ready for their future with their players. Steph, Klay and Green can still play at least 3 years together maybe but after that, they will not be the ones who are carrying the team anymore but these younger and talented players. This is why I'm a big fan of the Warriors and will be even though Steph will not play anymore.

Yes, as long as their core remain in GSW, they can trade anyone not name Curry, Green and Thompson. They are a good at finding gems, most likely they will developed Kuminga and Poole as the next option if ever they will trade Wiggins.

It is what it is, sometimes team owners will have to make the decision, as they can't maintain that huge contract. At least though, Wiggins won a ring with them and will be valuable to any team that he will be traded.
