While on the Warriors, losing is not an option. It's a must-win for the Warriors or else, a big problem is waiting for them in Game 6 in front of the Celtics crowd.

Unfortunately, even though the Boston Celtics had mobilized all their strength, all their efforts were in vain because they lost by a fairly long distance score, the warriors were indeed very difficult to beat because they had a good playing strategy. So that from this match the Warriors finally won.

Not just a good playing strategy but they literally live in the Finals from the last 8 years, just skipped 2 playoffs because they got terrible injuries.
If the Celtics were a more mature team in the finals (which they obviously not because they have 0 experience in the finals) they could be in the winning position by now. That game 4 was the turning point for the Warriors.
I'm afraid this series will be finished in game 6.

Warriors system is amazing, they keep adjusting and surprise their opponents. Boston might have a good squad this season but

the experienced played the most here. Warriors know how to play in a much tougher challenge, if Boston beats them in game 4

it would be tougher for them to bounce back with 3-1 standing. And now, Warriors managed to win a back-to-back game and turned

the advantage of favoring their side. Now it's Boston needs to adjust and find the best counter to keep the hope alive for the season's title.

Maybe if they change their strategy and apply more defensive pressure to their shooters maybe they can change the phase on game 6 and can able to defeat Warriors at that time. The good thing with the Warriors is they already know how to respond, they are already owning the 4th quarter which the Celtics have been winning before, with the Celtics having a big run in the 3rd quarter, the Warriors respond well in the 4th quarter with a 10-0 IIRC, and after that, the Celtics has not lead in the game anymore.

But after the all star break, Celtics enjoyed one of their best runs and now they are in the finals. They have to win game 6 at their home to keep their chances alive. But if not then the Warriors the champion again. And for the record, they didn't lose to anyone, it's that Durant left and then Thompson and Curry and Green got injured. Now that they are healthy again, they have another chance to win the championship for this season.

Honestly, the Celtics had a terrible performance in Game 5, and it looks like the lack of experience is really a big problem for them. However, if the Celtics still want to contend for the title, they should be much better on offense in the upcoming game. At the same time, I agree with you that the Celtics players have no reason to be ashamed because no one expected them to get so far this season.

Boston is gonna have to win game 6 at home, but I also feel like the Warriors won the series with the win last night. The Celtics held Curry to 0/9 on three pointers and only 16 points. If they ever needed a win, last night was it for Boston.

You can add that to the list because the Celtics missed a lot of free throws in this game (21/31) but there is another reason why they lost twice.
It's the turnovers that made them lost the game. The Celtics are 1-6 before this game whenever they have 16 or more turnovers and they are 13-2 when they have 16 or less turnovers. In this game they got 18 which increases their chances of losing and they really lost.

This is the hard part when you don't have a legit passer on your team. They are using Marcus Smart as a point and I have seen him pass the ball quite well but it's just not consistent. Most of their plays yesterday were isolation plays and that's not the Celtics that I knew to win the series.
If I remember it right, the Warriors didn't make any turnover until the stars were put on the bench.

Wiggins is one of my favorite players and I would agree that he has been the key for the Warriors to win games this series.  I'm not sure you can give him the MVP though.  He only outplayed Curry in 1 game (last game) so far this series.  While the Warriors wouldn't be able to win without his rebounding and scoring, without Steph they wouldn't have a chance.  He draws so much attention on defense, everything that everyone else gets is a result of this. 

Would I like to see Wiggins win a Finals MVP award?  Hell yes.  Does he deserve it over Steph?  No.

Yeah, Boston played well. Obviously, they need it to win this match but they did well considering the fact that they have started the match in a not-so-good way. But they have tried to make a comeback in that match and it was almost successful.

But in the end, the Warriors won the match because they had a really good advantage from the start of the match. And taking Stephen Curry out of the equation basically has given them a really good chance of winning the match. They have been successful to keep him quiet almost throughout the whole match.

That's what give them advantage in the series because they can adapt quick and make decisive adjustments that will be suitable for them as they are not gifted with huge players but they still make it work as they are more of an offensive team, now they are also adapting the Celtic's defense strategies. The way I see it, the Celtics may bounce back and the Warriors will finish the series in their home @ 7 as always.

Curry deserves all the credit for this game. I can't get past this. Wiggins played a great game but was still overshadowed by Curry. Curry's playing this much must have made it easier for the others on the team. Curry is definitely the MVP of the finals. The Celtics changed their defensive tactics to get him under control, but failed. GSW is one game away from winning the NBA championship. The championship is coming.

I really have no idea how Celtics lost this game even though Warriors weren't that much impressive this time. I mean that Stephen Curry's performance was really terrible compared to his previous game but I don't expect him to score over 30 points etc. all the time of course. I just want to indicate that he had a very poor three pointer statistics like 0/9. This wasn't Curry at all as a result. This must be his worst ever three pointer performance so far but this can happen as he is a human too. The important point is that they can still win even when he plays like this. The fourth quarter was the determinant again.

Free throws may have been the reason the Celtics lost this game but a part of that is because the Warriors played great defense.
They didn't let them find their rhythm and so the free throws are mostly a miss. Even Tatum missed a lot of crucial shots that could have been a chance to make the game a close fight.
But all praises to Andrew Wiggins. He keeps on stepping up his game from 16 rebounds at Game 4 and now changing to being an offensive guy earning 26 points to help Steph Curry while he is off night and defended well.
Klay Thompson doing a lot of damage too.

Yes, it was Wiggins who do mostly the damage. He said that he just wanted to be aggressive in this game and that's what he did. He had that switching hands and then a thunderous dunks as well. Not the usual Steph but they did the job done with Klay Thompson also had a good game.

And yeah, the defense was the key as well, they didn't allow the Celtics to feel comfortable although the Warriors lost the 3rd quarter.

Close out for the Warriors in game 6?

Wiggins is taking really taking things to the next level, he's now one of the core players of the Golden State Warriors. Smashing the rim with an exclamation mark even though he's against Horford or Williams, he doesn't care and he will deliver those shots and rebound as often as he could. What a monstrous play by Andrew Wiggins, grabbing 13 rebounds and bringing 26 points to the team.

Fortunately, Klay Thompson was stepping too because he knows that Curry has done so much in his shoulder in the past 4 games, now it's his turn while Curry is quite having a bad night.

Thompson had a decent game, enough for him to be able to help the team to beat a good defensive Celtics team. Poole and GPII were both very effective as well, they protected their home court and had a good 4th quarter win like what happened in game 4. Warriors now is not a 3rd quarter team anymore, they have become a 4th quarter team in the last 2 games.

There is obviously no reason for them to be ashamed because first of all it is true that almost no one expected them to reach this stage of the competition and they almost had a good upturn in the last match. But, it was really a little too much for them to overcome since they had started really badly. They can obviously still contend for the title. I know that in game-5 it looked like they had a really bad performance. But I honestly don't think it was that bad. It was not good obviously but it was also not the worst performance from them.
