Finally the Warriors get home court advantage back. When it was announced who the 2 teams were, I thought Golden State was gonna sweep Boston, but damn Boston has played well. It's a dogfight but Golden State is in the drivers seat.

That was the most prediction by most people back then but Boston Celtics erased the doubts of everyone. Others even say that the Celtics are just an easy team to beat for the Warriors. I don't want to go with everyone's flow and put my bet instead on the Boston Celtics as an underdog.

Although it's still early to say that the Celtics can upset the Warriors, what matters here is, that there's a chance.

Warriors as an experienced team won't just allow the Celtics to make their championship this year. It will be effort vs. effort.

The series is tied 2-2 now. This was really a critical game for both teams as this would have been the beginning of a bad period for Warriors if Celtics had won this. Especially Warriors' last quarter performance was very decisive about this win by a ten-point gap. I think that Celtics still had a really solid game though. When it comes to the performances, Steph Curry showed a superb performance undoubtedly. He scored 43 points which must be his best performance lately. His contribution was very important for the team to win in this one.

I see Kobe on him and he really improve thru this season. Their duo together with brown really improve Celtics and their actions not to trade their young cores is really give them good result today and for sure they have huge chance to take this season out on GSW and the game 4 will be another exciting chapter to see. But also knowing Warriors they became more better team once they are defeated and it just Wiggins and Klay is not consistent today and Curry only make them alive this game maybe in next game they are in full revenge mode that's why we can provably see more exciting head to head match between Celtics.

He is not that far anymore, as I said in my previous posts, this kid just needs to stay confident with his game. Sometimes, he loses it and that's why the team is being dragged by it. Thankfully, many players on the Celtics team know how to step up their game and the leadership of Marcus Smart might have something to contribute to that.
Even though he had a bad Game 1 and 2 on the offensive side, he might get that MVP if the Celtics will be able to snatch this from the former champions. Because he didn't stop at just scoring, he did assists and rebounds to help.

I guess we have been praising him and even compare him to Kobe in this thread so I'm not surprised. And yes, it will be an accomplishment for him at this young age to win the NBA trophy and then the Finals MVP. He has improved in defense as well. He lock down Durant in the first round, we haven't seen Durant having difficulty to execute his jump shots and Tatum was part of that big defensive plays and swept the Nets.

Why not? Jayson Tatum deserved to be praised because of his improvements and the way he played since the playoffs has begun until the whole Celtics squad reached the Finals. Although it's not him who had the most work that's why they achieved the position they are now on but he's been so vital in the team's success no matter if it's offense or defense, he can be reliable. At 24, he can be the Finals MVP too though Jaylen Brown is also very compitent to get that said title.

Well, 2 of the best young players in the NBA today who admires Kobe and be like him with his mamba mentality is Jayson Tatum and Devin Booker.
But, I'll have to say Tatum is a bit better than Booker at this point of time.
Just like what you said he never stop at just scoring. Remember in Finals game 1, he was shooting 3-17fg but still managed to contribute in a different way with his 13 assist and limiting his TO to just 2 to somehow help the team secure the game 1 win on the road.

Right, Tatum and Booker will be the new face of NBA when stars like Lebron and Durant retire. The advantage of Tatum is that he has developed himself, but Booker remains just a scorer for now.. Anyhow, the series is still very unpredictable, it can still go 50/50. The lead is not that comfortable that a comeback is not possible. Maybe if Celtics will win another game. But if Warriors returns the favor and steal one, it will go down to the best of 3 match.

Booker will if he will be consistent in the coming seasons, Tatum on the other hand will surely be the face sooner because he is really a playmaker. He doesn't let any chances pass by without doing his best either if it's in offensive or defensive because he will really make sure that he will be there to help the team achieve their goal. He is more like Kobe than Booker because Booker was left doing the offensive game because he was too used to have CP3 on his side doing all the arrangement to the team.
Now, the series is again tied 2-2 because the Warriors have also bounced back after the defeat in Game 3. Next game they will back at Chase Center where they have the most advantage but it's still risky because the Celtics have also proved a point that they can still win even if it's not their home.

Curry definitely got hot on this game, and I believe that he can't do this every single time, there is absolutely no way he could do such a thing. I personally believe that Celtics still do have the advantage as a whole team, which makes sense because they are a better all around team.

However, Curry is a player unlike any other, and when he plays like this, there is no way that Warriors would lose. It is a tied series right now and I am guessing that the rest of the series will not be easy neither. If somehow one way or another, we get to see Warriors win the next game, then they could lift the trophy up on their home turf, if not then it could go to 7 games.

Whoever sees kobe in Jason Taytum never seen kobe play imo.  No one had the competitiveness like kobe other than Jordan.  That isn't a knock on taytum but kobe was in a league of his own when he was on the court.  Taytum sometimes isn't even the best player on his own team some games.  Kid is young though he has a bright future and will be a superstar in this league.

True, Kobe is a great player and has already proved he can carry his team on his back by winning multiple championships, Tatum has not proven anything yet aside from getting into the NBA Finals. Kobe struggle sometimes but he always is the best player on his team.

Because Kobe does not like how the Celtics are playing, he played more like an individual basketball that's why he needs to perform, or his team will lose. They have a similarity with LBJ, if LBJ struggles, the whole team will struggle, unlike the Celtics, if Tatum struggles, there are other players who could stepped up because they are a team.

It was head to head until last few minutes but Warriors played better in clutch time and won the game. This was crucial win for them as if Boston won that the series would probably be over. Now Warriors took the home court advantage again and more important they had the psychological advantage. Because the series is returning to West coast, fifth game will be very important. I wonder how Boston will react to this loss and play in San Francisco. At least we will definitely see game six.

good lead in that last few minutes of the game, coach Kerr's strategy to keep changing players for defensive and offensive

Listen that's just how basketball goes.  Sometimes you get the quarter sometimes you don't.  But to think a team who is down 2-1 in the NBA Finals didn't give all their effort in the 3rd quarter is just crazy.  Both teams are laying it all out all game.  There is no tomorrow for each one of these games.

The result of the next game might be hard to predict, although the Warriors look like the favorites as they will have a home-court advantage. At the same time, the Celtics still have a chance to win this series, but the Celtics players such as Smart and Horford should play better. To be honest, I expected Horford would be effective throughout this series, but he only had a good performance in the first game and wasn't active enough in subsequent games.

Boston needs to find ways to adjust to how the Warriors are playing right now, still unpredictable game 5 even the home court

I agree, there's no telling which team will win this series. Both are playing well and that Game 4 tells it all. Every possession will be crucial and they cannot let the game go beyond a 10-point lead or else it will soon be a blowout game. I like the exchange of strategies from both coaches too, the right timing of calling a timeout, and the right execution of plays whenever a substitution was made.
If you are a fan of either team, you will feel the swing of an emotion-packed game.

Yes, Thompson may have a little contribution compared to the past NBA Finals, but man, we have to understand, he came from a major injury and when the returned, Warriors are back to the NBA Finals, isn't it a big improvement already? And also, let's not forget that Thompson had some huge games in the past rounds, maybe he is not that too consistent but he is very useful to the team.

Listen that's just how basketball goes.  Sometimes you get the quarter sometimes you don't.  But to think a team who is down 2-1 in the NBA Finals didn't give all their effort in the 3rd quarter is just crazy.  Both teams are laying it all out all game.  There is no tomorrow for each one of these games.

They weren't so dominant in the 3rd quarter in the last game, they only outscored the Celtics by 6 points compared to the previous games where they can easily outscored the Celtics by a double digit, so I'm just guessing, maybe they are trying to preserve their energy in the 4th quarter to beat the Celtics.
