Warriors didn't make any surprise to me by winning the second game but that winning gap was really huge by the way. I didn't like that much of a gap as a Celtics fan. I'm going to be expecting a much bigger defensive performance by Celtics in the third game. As much as I want to agree with you but I don't think that the Celtics can be that reliable when it comes to playing at their home, surely there is a slight advantage but it's already proven that they aren't that dominant. I'm saying that they will bounce back in the game later after having that huge loss in Game 2, but a 3-1 series? That might be premature for now. 2 successive homecourt game doesn't mean that they can really win.

Second in the eastern conference for a reason, td record stands strong, only lebron has been the one to be the Celtics in 7 there. I think the warriors have the ability the steal a game in the garden, but it won't be tonight. I expect tatum to finally turn up, brown and smart to put on a clinic and big Al to show up in the clinch time. I expect poole to be a shadow of the previous game, thomspon will be getting back in the swing of things, with curry the duo are always a threat, but feel the rim won't be kind tonight. Still think this will be a 7 games series. Seems like this finals there is a lot of rest time and every play is planned.

The series is going to Boston now for next two games, that means Celtics have their home court advantage but they need to be very careful because they don't have any chance to make mistakes. They need to win both games to keep home court advantage. Now it's Tatum's turn, he can't play bad third game in a row. He needs to have some responsibility. Expecting a good defense from Celtics again.

I think the wall that is keeping Tatum from greatness is just experience. He needs more of it and I am glad they took Horford back because that guy has a lot of experience and could share it with him.
Then, confidence. He lacks it. Whenever Wiggins is in front of him, he soon finds a way to pass it to his teammates. He should try breaking Wiggins or put him in foul trouble if he can.

Despite of lacking out with that experience but still for Tatum overall performance or gameplay then its still really that impressive but sooner or later he would really be realizing on how to break those walls.
Tending to be that scared whenever he's been guarded too tough which there are times that he could handle it out but most of the time he would really be hesitate or in doubt on driving on the basket.
These are only small and inevitable kind of flaws yet each player would really be passing into these kind of situation but sooner or later time will come that he would really be able to overcome it.

I am not a Celtics fan but the game in Boston, in their arena 'Garden', makes me excited. It is like almost always excited to watch a playoff game in that arena, especially NBA Finals. I usually think in series like this, it is maybe the most important game of 7 games is the game three. The winner of game three always getting quite advantageous in my opinion. This game is also very important for the series. Celtics need a lot on the offensive side but with their home crowd probably as electrified as possible, they might get that extra push they need. They might be getting more from Marcus Smart, Derrick White, Grant Williams, Al Harford. But one thing is for sure, gonna be a great game.

It is obvious that Garden has a big impact on the players, but it is not really against Celtics or anything. By that logic Madison Square should be the same way, it is one of the best atmospheres to play as a basketball player, but Knicks has been bad for decades, and with such ownership will stay horrible for a long time as well.

So, I believe if Warriors lose, it will not be based on Garden alone, they are just not consistent all that much, Celtics are not neither. Like look at Heat series, they won one, lost one, and kept up like that, because they were inconsistent on their defense and offense together, could say the same thing so far this series as well.

That's what Golden State defense is underrated, we always talk about their supposedly offensive firepower. But we seldom talk about their defensive prowess as well. Steph has improved a lot this year, his body is built to play inside now, get rebounds and play solid defense. Remember how he stole the ball from Ja Morant? And then we also have Klay Thompson who is also a good defender, and then Wiggins developed into one, Draymond is Draymond, and Looney not to block but to change the shot when someone is penetrating. Of course, Gary Payton's hand is quick, Otto Porter is another one (although he is injured). Poole as well can guard and so is Lee and Kuminga and Bjelica and Moody. So it's a complete line up.

They are again a good squad who can win another NBA title. They are now adjusting and showing how serious they are,

It's not an easy series competing against the best from the East, a young blooded squad who are aiming to bring
the franchise back into a championship team.

That will be the Warriors biggest challenge this season because they are against a team who is more hungrier than them as their franchise haven't tasted a championship title for years now. IIRC, I think the last time that the Celtics became a champion was last 2008 or 2009. After that, the team became inconsistent and nowhere to be found as there are new generations that have arrived.

The odds of Warriors to be the champion this year is in-fact good but they have to defeat the big and young blooded Celtics first.

I'm waiting for Game 3 excitingly now. It's quite late in my timezone but I'm going to try to watch as much as possible. Warriors had a really great game in Game 2 as you can remember and it was a good signal to Celtics for the coming games too. Of course this won't frighten Celtics as they did the same to Warriors before. I'm waiting for a very competitive series in general but when it comes to the game tonight I think Celtics can win. I don't think there will be a big point gap between them but Celtics can succeed.

Big win for them and the adjustment was perfect. They shut down Smart, White, and Horford. That's what they want to happen and they didn't mess up tonight. Steph Curry doing most of the damage and then Jordan Poole, while Klay Thompson is still missing in the picture.
Now, how will the Celtics adjust? A big question for everyone. They haven't won a 3rd quarter which is one of the crucial parts of the game. They must find a way to put an end to that.

Yeah that was a nice run to push it from single digits to almost up 30.  Didn't think this one would be close given the drive of not going down 2-0 to go on the road.  I think game 3 will be real crucial to the series.  Can gs steal one in Boston to get the home court advantage back? 

There are a team that is known to explode in the 3rd and then protect it in the 4th. Maybe just a slip up in the first game. So with this kind of games from the Warriors, they are going to be hard to contend by any team. They did a good job on Steph but collapsing on him, and yet he find a way to score and make a good pass to his team mates. I think it's possible that GSW can steal at least 1 game in Boston. They are capable so we will see in next game, and take that back and make the score 2-1 for them.

There's a high chance that GSW can still 1 or 2 game on Boston since they are still consistent in their play even on game 1. Boston just got a very lucky game on game 1 that's why they manage comeback in 4th quarter but if we watch again the game 1, We can see that GSW is still consistent in their play even in 4th quarter since they manage to answer back at some part but the unstoppable 3 point shot is very hard to counter. But I will still bet on Boston with a handicap because I still believe that they can repeat what they did in game 1.

Yes, that's also possible,  either games, the Warriors has the chance to steal games at the road. They have done it all throughout in the playoff series, so this is not a unfamiliar territory for them. That's why the Celtics can't just relax at home, they have to play strong in the first and then the fourth quarter at those are very crucial. Good luck on your bet on Boston, they are the favorite right now in game 3, and it's going to be very exciting game that's for sure. I haven't decided yet who to bet, maybe over and under for me this game.

I think the Warriors are the better team and while it seems the Celtics are favored to win tonight, the time is now to show who the NBA champions will be. Barring an amazing performance from Tatum, or more high % shooting from White (who seems to be playing way above expectations), I think the Warriors have this one. Mostly I hope for an exciting game.

It's a long way to go for the Celtics to overcome what Warriors did to them during the 3rd quarter. The moment was there and it's hard to break that when Warriors is already dominating have taken the rhythm already.

But we'll see how the Celtics would do as much as they can to dominate until the last minute without a moment of fluking.

tried to use, warriors are ready and did not let them to rally back. Game 3 is another exciting game to watch, either Warriors

will win or Boston will protect their homecourt and continue to have a series advantage from these series.

We will see today if the Celtics will come back stronger.

Who advances on this match will be definitely going to add to their confidence as that adds the score to their win for this series. It's part of increasing their encouragement.

Warriors equalized the series as I expected and I was very confident about it. Warriors are a really predictable team in some specific games. For example, they started this series really badly but I knew that they were going to atone for it right away in the second game. They did this by a huge performance too and Celtics were helpless against them in the first three quarters. They were able to decrease the gap by only four points in the last quarter and had no choice other than submitting to them at the end.

It looks like they are still gonna defend that title favorite for this year's NBA title. The thing is, will they beat them on the Celtics homecourt? During the regular season they got a 28/13 during their home games and 5/4 this playoffs. That's still 50%+ advantage for them this playoffs to win on their homecourt while 3/4 win for GSW on the road. That should be noted I guess.

The Game 3 and Game 4 are going to be very critical for both teams. If one of these teams manage to win two times in a row, I won't be expecting the other team to make a comeback in the series anymore. These games are this much important to me because of that. Celtics really have a huge advantage as they have the home court advantage indeed. However I can't trust them fully for both games. A hell of a first quarter for the Celtics. They were up 15 at one point… Jaylen Brown had his best quarter of the series. I don’t think he’ll be able to keep that up (17 points in the first quarter), but if he can the Warriors are in trouble. For the Celtics to have this big of a lead with Tatum not getting into his groove yet is a bad sign for Golden state.

Well, it's been over 10 years since the Celtics went to an NBA Finals. Boston is a traditional and classic team, we cannot underestimate the young and promising team that Boston has, but on the other hand, the Warriors are an experienced team and have an excellent squad, Curry, Thompson among others...

It is going to be a different story now since it's going to be a home-court advantage for the Celtics. That matters but it won't be a matter to the Warriors. They've been used to it and that's not a problem for them but this matters to the Celtics as the first two games it's on the advantage of GSW. 2-2 is possible or it will end as 3-1, we don't know. It's always like this when we're watching the finals and it makes us impatient because we want to see the game as soon as possible.

He did, today. A sudden change of play style which is lovely. Being unpredictable, that's how he should be to break the Wiggins wall. 
Attack the paint, go use his perimeter shots, and make three points. This is what the Celtics need from him and to add to that offensive stats are his 9 assists. He is starting to get pretty well at distributing the ball to his teammates or looking for an open man after wreaking havoc underneath the rim.
They may really have a big chance to close this out at 6 or better at 5 if he can keep that up. Confidence.

Yeah, and it seems that the Warriors are in the fence right now, they've are caught again napping in defense in the first quarter and they don't have enough fire power to cover in a the quarter where they are good at, 3rd.

So now this will be a big blow to the Warriors in the finals, next to Lebron winning against them after a huge 3-1 lead. The Celtics are the underdog in this series and no one see that they are going to the lead right now. It might be over for the Warriors if they lost again in game 4.

I am very much hyped on this game 3. It seems that there's no time that has been wasted and it's like a very perfect exhibition match for which it's just a quick game.
Both showed great but the Celtics are better this time, I guess if you really are on your home court that's giving you some more eagerness to play better as your fellow citizens are watching live.
