I also have a favorite team that I really follow in every game and that is Golden State Warriors ...

They will not get in the payoffs. Well, they can still do some trades but west is packed. Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Mavericks, Jazz, Rockets, Suns, Blazers. Already 8 teams. We dont even need to mention Thunder, Grizzlies or Spurs that can surprise. warriors in the playoff would be a huge surprise.

I doubt people will be surprise if Warriors will be in the playoffs, looking at the NBA futures odds., they are in the top 5 favorites to win in a championship, west teams only.

We have our own opinion but the betting odds is pretty much the opinion of the majority, so I agree with you that Warriors has a decent chance to be in the playoffs, but unfortunately, I have to say that they will not reach in the NBA Finals with the current roster, just my opinion too, I could be wrong.

Of course, they will always be the favorite, even last year, the competition between this Los Angeles franchise are strong until Lebron really separated the Lakers and be the top team and winning the championship. And then Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead, that will really hurt and now they are fully motivated to get back at their detractors and prove, with Kawi and PG again. If I'm not mistaken he signed a 4 year deal with Clippers. But we can't be certain that he will retire as Clippers though, we all know that players can be traded any time.

If only Thompson didn't injured "AGAIN" then they might be considered one of the playoff contenders right now knowing that the West is filled with all-star players (as always though ).

I'm still a Warrior fan and I'm not a bandwagon like the other people out there. They acquired Oubre in absence of Thompson and we know the difference in their playstyle but we don't know what the Warriors are capable of especially under Coach Kerr.

I just hope that Wiggins will occupy what the Warriors lost. I'm not expecting him to be as good as Thompson in terms of threes but at least he can be a good contributor in the team.

It also boils down to his weight, if his body can't carry that much weight though, sooner we might see his bones cracking again, so I would say DNA also plays a big role if a player is prone to injury or not. One example is Greg Oden of Portland, so much potential but his body is not willing to hold that weight of his resulting on one of the biggest bust of Portland.

So Cousins needs to be very careful and protect his body if he wanted to still play for at least a year or two in the NBA.

I guess he already know that, he has been suffering from injury for years already but it is what it is, Cousin's is not a type of player who play safe, he wants to go all out and help his team to win, hence, he needs to be aggressive in order to do that. Let's just hope he will not suffer an injury this season to come, so we can see him playing even if not what he usually do,  but this guy is legit, he can contribute when in the floor.

Honestly Cousins may not be capable of playing in the NBA at his old level ever again from now on. I understand that he can come back and play a bit, maybe he will get his body healed enough that he will no longer have too many injury troubles and can play another 10+ years who knows. I can't talk about injuries and missing time for him, he hasn't played a decent season for so long that I do not remember last time cousins played 60+ games in a year.

However even if he continues to play 60+ games per year every year for ten years straight, I think it will never be the same cousins we have seen years ago. This reminds me of the time Amare Stoudomire played, he was one of the best centers in the league, yet after his injury he never really recovered and be who he used to be.

Yeah, good odds, that is if he stays healthy throughout the season, and not only that, he needs to have big numbers and create an impact consistently to win the 6th man on the year which I highly doubt. His body and at his age, will be hard pressed to see him completing a gruellng 72 games this season.

Actually having a deep bench is one of the keys to have a winning match because having a good starting 5 doesn't mean it will be enough for you to win a championship. There are these factors such as stamina, injuries, as well as foul trouble that could just ruin the solid starting 5 they have. Also with Klay Thompson on the sidelines again do you really think that GSW's starting lineup is enough to even last in the play offs or even make it to the cut? I mean these starting lineup isn't really in the top 8 in the west IMO.

Warriors is totally on a different look now, they only have 2 original starters in the line up, Green and Curry, the rest are young players who haven't proven themselves yet in the NBA. However, I don't underestimate the coaching staff as this team has a pride for being a championship team, we are seeing their lack of 2nd unit and maybe their starters may not be good enough for us but we will see once the season starts.

I agree with that, but for me, it does now since not much expectation for the Warrior to win as people were disappointed when Thompson reinjured himself.

WB and Beal? Hmmm. I don't know if it will work. Harden and WB didn't work and it's almost the same.

I'll just bite my tounge this time around as I can't tell what could really be the outcome or if there's synergy on both of them, we'll see that once the new season starts. This time Harden will never leave the Rockets, I assume that will be the case.

This really have got to be one of the weirdest trade that somehow felt right at one moment. Westbrook bring brought to Washington means that he will be creating plays that was meant for Wall but I know that Wall is more clutch than Westbrook and maybe we can see some chemistry after some games.
Lets just hope all these managers are creating their best decisions to at least create a great season ahead.

Nah, I don't think that Washington will stick to the old play design for John Wall, they are totally different and it won't work on WB here. And it's the worst thing a coach will do, used a design play for other players. Coaches are smart and that's why they are there, to create a new tactic for WB alone.

And I agree, yeah, it's a weird trade, but both players wanted to get out of their previous team, so it's easy to do the trade and then hope for the best result this season.

This is probably a good thing for Wall.  D'Antoni likes playing real fast up and down and wall will do that well (if healthy).  This might not be the last moves these teams make so it might be more clear as the season comes near.

I thought D'Antoni had already left the Rockets, so we can't expect the same style of play we've seen in the last season, it might not be a fast pace again, and a small type of play.

Raptors will not be a Championship team, they don't have Kawhi anymore and they don't even have Gasol now, this season, they are a weaker team compared to past season IMO.

I'm happy to hear this kind of news, it's so positive that a start player of Wizards are excited to play with Westbrook. Hopefully their chemistry will be develop easily, one of them needs to adjust, I guess it will be Beal because Westbrook will always be himself, aggressive and willing to shot the ball without hesitation.
