Warriors vs Lakers tonight on TNT. A preview matchup of their season opener that will be played in just one week. Something tells me the outcome of the two games will be vastly different, but maybe we’ll get a glimpse of the stars going at it tonight at some point.

They had already met in the preseason, this is just a rematch but hopefully, the Lakers will play harder as they have not won a single game yet in the preseason. I'd be glad to see if Lebron, Westbrook, and Davis will play together with a good number of minutes, but if not, I guess they would experience another loss.

Nets management is definitely in a losing position if Kyrie doesn't play all games this season but it's good they made their position very clear. They passed the ball on Irving's court and it's up to him if he wants the team to lose a key player because he wants to exercise his right. I hope the team does well without him.

Honestly I love kyries game is but I think at the Nets are a addition by subtraction with him.  Harden can be the guard focus and Durant to lead the team.  Got so.e good role players around him.  Don't need people randomly leaving the team all year, and dude can't not be injured too.  I would have taken the same stance. 

Well, no play for Kyrie if he's not going to be vaccinated. He's an asset to the team and hope that he will choose the right thing and will be able to play for the team as NBA gets back again.

That's true, they will still keep on going without him and he's going to be forced to make a decision before he regrets what will happen next.

Maybe less than 20-25 minutes, I reckon. Coach Vogel is just continue to look at the possible combinations, so we might or might not see James, Davis and Westbrook at the same time on the floor. Maybe he wanted  that the other teams not see how the three will merge. Sort of hiding his card in this preseason because as you have said, it doesn't mean a thing if they are on a losing streak. What's matter is the regular season with the whole squad specially the three being healthy.

It looks like Klay Thompson hasn't fully recovered from the injury, considering that he is still not training at full strength. As far as I know, there is no exact date of his return yet, but I guess Warriors fans can expect him to return to court no earlier than December.

I'm not surprised that Luka is the favorite especially how he's been playing the last two seasons. I'm more surprised that Embiid is at 7.50 while Jokic is at 15. No disrespect to Joel and the bookies but come on man, it has to be closer than that. Is he injured? What am I missing?

Lakers and GSW playing their stars for this near end of the preseason. The Lakers big three playing at the same time. A close game before the 2nd half.

Now it's all up to him. Nets management gave him the respect and a large amount of time to think twice about his decision. He could always play and all he need to do is just take the vaccine. If he is really that stubborn or selfish (according to Stephen A.) then he could stay at home and just watch all the Nets game, I doubt he could resist the pumping blood while he witness his teammates play.

I like how the Nets are giving Kyrie the final decision and also how they are protecting their players in this pandemic. Being strict for both parties to be secured to avoid future problems.

The big 3 of the Lakers played but it's not enough to beat the Warriors who have no Curry in the lineup.
Must be a chemistry problem or they are just having fun and not taking it seriously.

Yes, Coach Vogel will need to tweak some plays and strengthen their chemistry. Melo is doing great, he will surely give everything this year.
Westbrook though doesn't look like he is comfortable yet. Let's give it more time. He got used to being in control of everything and this is a big leap because now he is adjusting with Lebron with almost the same type of play.
Jordan Poole is the player of the game, I can see so much room for improvement. It's obvious he is growing from shouldering the team whenever Steph is out.

How far have we fallen that now they won’t even let Kyrie play because he has refused to get a covid vaccine? Not even being sick with covid, just refusing a vaccine…. It doesn’t seem real.

I don't think that we can compare Magic's case though, as far as I know, AIDS can't be transferred while playing against it's each other, or the physical contact. As opposed the Covid wherein it's a communicable disease. So for me, it's not being blown out of proportion, it's just players refusing to understand like Kyrie in this case of being covid-19 vaccinated.

It's good for the Lakers that they see those problems during preseason and will adjust when the regular starts.

Nice to see that all stars are now playing and showing healthy bodies, A good sign for Lakers knowing the calibers of those stars and
what they are capable of when the team needs them the most.

Preseason serves as recognizing good chemistries between players, while in the regular season is the time where they needed to bring the game to a more competitive level.

Meanwhile, with GSW, players are really enjoying each other. They are playing as one and the system works the way it was designed for them.

Yeah, Magic's case was a bad comparison.

On Kyrie's case, Nets can test him almost daily if they really want to know if he's been infected or not but they chose the easier path. From a business point of view, I think that's just logical. They have to put their players at ease knowing they are traveling/playing with teammates that are less likely to get covid because they're vaccinated.

And that makes GSW still dangerous even without Klay because of Jordan Poole. Hopefully he can bring that on step further when the regular seasons start.

Yes, that's the trade mark of Coach Vogel, even in-game he will make some tweaks if he see some weakness in the chemistry of Lakers. I do agree with giving some time to WB, just one game at a time. We might be surprised to see him anchoring the offense for the Lakers and seeing a prime WB again.

I'm with you with this comparison. Though it seems like Jokic is a complete package Center, but I guess this will somehow enlighten us with the comparison why Embid has the edge over Jokic.

Looks like that's the rough date for a return as per the rumors, better not to rush things for him since it's a full rehabilitation. The urge should eat him, I guess.

Seems this to be a problem for the Nets there should be some kind of persuasion to be done or some reconsideration since the last time we are at the bubble there's no vaccination being done to players maybe they need to sort it out on that options but since it's a mandatory it would be good not to play the most.
