There's also some rumors that the management wants to fire Frank Vogel this season as they aren't happy by the results of the team.
I'll be glad to see that happen, the Lakers are struggling a lot and they will not make it to the playoffs if they cannot win especially at home. I think that's enough, in this game, we've seen it's not only the players who had the problem but most especially the coach decision making was wrong. Lakers already at number 8 now, how many games they need to lose before the management will make a decision to look for other coach? I wonder if they had any other coaches available or somehow spotted some new prospects that could've help the team. They're placed at the 8th spot in the WCF and they could be placed at the 9th spot if they lost again in their next game against the Magic. Sure their offense is quite good but I don't know what Frank Vogel's thinking that he won't give Dwight Howard the minutes needed as they need another big man but I bet he knows that their defense isn't that good enough to block incoming attacks. I'm not gonna be surprised If Vogel will be fired in the next couple of game losses. He even benched Westbrook in the crucial 4th quarter versus the Pacers tonight. Because he thinks the other guys that brought a Laker win versus the Jazz last night could still pull it tonight. The Pacers were them with rebounds because the Lakers are playing undersized since AD got injured. I also think Vogel should give Dwight enough minutes to help the team and get him to the rhythm. It might happen though, I read from articles that Vogel is being treated on a game to game basis. So against the Jazz, he got lucky and escape with a win. But not against a tough team in the Pacers, heck they even had a good lead but was not able to sustain it because Pacers are hitting their outside shots. So maybe another lost by them will mean that Vogel's stint as a Lakers coach is over. Frank Vogel has been on a hot seat lately and he's been watched since they lost for 5 straight games, the management isn't happy anymore on the team's performance, so it's really natural for them to be curious and want to know what's the root of it as the Lakers are really struggling even against weaker teams in the league. We'll see in these upcoming games if there's some updates on either he will remain as a head coach or not.

Now they are going to face Orlando Magic, and the management expects no less than a victory against a sub par team. If they lose on this one, I will say that this will be his last game as a coach of the Lakers. So he needs to do everything against the Magic. I guess their lost against the Pacers is somewhat justify as the Pacers defeated GSW. (Note: This is a re-edit, as I have misquoted everything on the first one and then make the mistake of copying my reply on the first edit.)

Pacers are really good lately and they got two important back-to-back wins. They even defeated Warriors away which is a big achievement for them. But I don't think that they will maintain a long-lasting winning streak. They are having a terrible season in general and it could continue like that. But they still have a chance for the playoff of course. If they somehow manage to qualify for it, even it would be an achievement for them I think.
It's not too late for them to come back and be in the playoff spot again. Pacers are a good defensive team, they are a good team in general but sometimes they struggle, I think they are better than what the Lakers are experiencing right now, they are improving while the Lakers aren't. Agree about there issue is much lighter to Lakers. But compared to Lakers, There roster will not gonna last much longer if they manage to enter the payoffs compared to Lakers that has a firepower to become a champion by there current roster, there only problem is just they are over extending and adjusting too much since most of there roster is a previous star and has pride. Maybe loading off some extra baggage will gonna help them to bring back to life. So sad to see that LeBron strategy to gather strong player is already back firing on his face. Lebron will likely fail this season, there's no chance that the Lakers will be a championship team as they are still haven't figured out the right chemistry so everyone could contribute effectively. They are just hype because they form a super team, popular names are in their team but they are not in synch every time they play, well, maybe there are some games they are impressive but in most games they disappointed the fans. I’m not even sure they are “hype”. I think most people were pretty aware of the fact that this team is full of former greats who can still play, but they aren’t the superstars that they once were. I of course do not think that they have any chance to win anything other than a couple playoffs games in maybe round one.

Good thing if Lebron is ready to defend his coach, Frank might stay for at least one season but without a result, there's no more chance for him. Lebron is popular of kicking out coach using his influence, but this time, he keep holding the coach despite the fact that they are struggling as a team. I think the errors are killing the Lakers and they don't know how to hold a team in the fourth quarter. James is asserting himself, but he needs to score more every game to give them at least a good chance to win every night. The game against the Magic will be tough as this is on the Magic home court.
Matured teams would know how to handle the 4th quarter as it's the most important quarter in the game, but without the aggressiveness to finish a win, there team has to be dismantled as basketball is a team game, not an individual game, and Lebron is not getting any younger.

Indiana Pacers have been on a really great run in the recent times. They played two really tough away games consecutively and managed to win both of them. First, they defeated Lakers and last night they managed to defeat Warriors by 121-117. Curry played really superbly this time and did everything he could to carry his team to a victory. He got 39 points but still couldn't help for a win. Because the rest of the players were too ineffective. Thompson is still recovering now.
The Warriors losing against the Pacers was really a shocking one to see and the fans certainly didn't really saw it coming because the Pacers are still lacking some of their players. In fact, the Warriors should have the advantage on this game but the result was opposite. Stephen Curry did his best to carry the team that's why he played for 44 minutes and made 39 points. The bench players too weren't that effective today.

In the last possession before the OT, the play was so perfect as it deviated most of the players from their attention towards Klay. Unfortunately, Igoudala was not able to pass it to Klay for an open three and JTA unfortunately missed a game-winning layup that could seal the deal somehow. Agree with your statement that Pacers are definitely picking up the "pace." They were also able to beat the Lakers which showed their starting strength. I just hope that Warriors would be able to get their rhythm back as they are definitely in a slump right now.

It just shows how big of an impact Draymond Green is on the team. I am not sure if I am right about the numbers and I had just a glimpse of it during the game when it flashed on the screen. If I am correct it was 28-6 with Draymond playing and 4-7 without him. That explains everything why they are not doing well. We all know the plays mostly start with him because the defender won't even try to guard him because of his lack of shooting capability. Now that he is out who will step up and fill that shoe that he left? I am losing my bets for them too, so I am really worried.

Looks like Demarcus Cousins to the Denver Nuggets is now official. Glad he's getting another shot in the NBA. Seems crazy with the way he played for the Bucks that he wouldn't have a spot somewhere. We've got 11 NBA games today including games for the Lakers and the Nets (fan favorites). The Yahoo! Sports app is also offering to let you stream for free 10 of those games (Bulls vs Bucks isn't included for some reason). I find it's pretty easy to just stream the game from my phone to my TV and enjoy the freeness. With the recent crypto crash, we need to save every penny. Still no Ben Simmons news...

That last play before the OT is very crucial, if they manage to foul it before the pass they should win the game, but that's really the fate of this game, a crucial last shot to tie the game, this Pacers squad is just the second stringers. Its unexpected loss from the hot warriors. Moving on, there are many games that we can place our bets, time to assess and observe if which games can give u better chances of winning.. Good Luck!

He got a 10-day contract. https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/33115824/sources-demarcus-cousins-sign-10-day-contract-denver-nuggetsNot bad, if he can show what the team needs from him, then he might get a shot for a longer contract, I hope the best for him and most especially being healthy so he'll get a better chance. If they played that game 100 times in a row golden state would win 90 times. They made a mistake leaving holiday open for the 3. 1 defensive rotation missed cost them the game. A lot of things went right for Pacers.

What are your thoughts on the Lakers vs Magic?
Lakers gave the magic +5 handicap at their home and I think it's just right as long as the Lakers will not mess up. Orlando is probably the worst team in the league with a 2-16 (w/L) record at home.

It is funny how Pacers managed to beat Lakers and everyone acted as if Lakers are done, and now they beat Warriors and everyone acting like that is just one bad game from Warriors. Don't get me wrong Lakers were bad looong before they played Pacers, this was just one more bad game to show that things are not clicking the right way, but at the same time we are talking about Pacers being a decent team.
Lakers will get even worse, they are going to play 50%+ win rate teams for a long time now and they are going to end up being a lot worse by the time regular season ends. I can see them not even making to playoffs, or at least be in the play-in tournament. That will be shameful and I am 100% sure they can't go anywhere near above second round, that is the max this team can get at the very best case. At the start of the season this team was seen as a championship contender, now I can't see them on conference finals.

Don't trust the Lakers even against the worst team in the league, they can't even at home and now up against a desperate team who needs a win. They are inconsistent thus far, it's okay to support them but betting on that taking chances, that's a complete gamble, you don't look for an advantage here but just hope for some luck to win.

If the Lakers win, it's LeBron. If they lose, it's Vogel... Honestly I think that Frank Vogel has probably the worst job in the NBA. There is not much that can be done with this roster, when the second best player on the team is literally Stanley Johnson that has been out of the league for quite some time. Unless LeBron conjures up some magic and winds back time, this roster is going nowhere.

Draymond Green, regardless of his stats per game, is giving the Warriors a big impact while he's on the floor. He's strict to the point that he always discusses it with his teammates even during the game. He has something that brings and uplifts the Warrior's energy whenever he is present. Anyways, not followed the Warriors game recently but is Draymond Green always present on their bench while undergoing recovery?

Vogel will be kept I think the whole season. Maybe the problem is about the head coach but even with a good coach, if their players are inconsistent then it's useless to change a head coach. Maybe Vogel will stay until the end of the Lakers journey this season but next season, he might be included on the whole revamp if the Lakers end up worst this season.

It looks like the Nuggets have a busy schedule in the coming days. It means that Cousins will have enough opportunities to prove himself, considering that he will be able to play in at least 6 matches during this 10-day contract. So let's hope that the Nuggets management will eventually decide to extend the contract with him at least until the end of the season.
