What's everyone's take on the Russell Westbrook "Westbrick" controversy?  Even Magic Johnson has weighed in today saying that Lakers fans need to be better.  It's pretty crazy to think that the fans of an organization might seriously effect future players' decisions whether or not they want to join the team.  Lakers fans have been pretty rough on Russ this year.  As if his athletic decline hasn't been bad enough, hearing about it every time he steps on the floor must be horrible for him and his family. 

Do you think future free agents will think twice about joining the Lakers after this?

Westbrook really does need to focus on his shooting.  As athletic a player as he is, as he gets older he's going to have to develop into more of a Carmelo Anthony rebounding and set shooter type of player if he wants to get another contract.

People have been calling him "Westbrick" for a long time and he cries about disrespect now? I don't know. It sounds like the pressure and losing many games has taken a toll on him.

It should be the least of their concerns. Every organization has rude fans and they will get the same treatment if they play bad.

Not hypocrite but unprofessional. Even if he's honest about it, why would he say that while the player is still active in their organization?

Not tempting for me. The reason is, even if he continues to gain more contribution, those who are above him are also doing the same. There are lots of players he needs to pass on and winning the season MVP is slim.

If only he didn't sit out for long, he might be able to catch at those above him. But if you think it's a good risk, it's always your choice to put a bet on him.

I'd rather bet on them to win the championship. Good odds, good risks, a good bet. Staying healthy is the one I'm looking forward to them.

Kyrie blasting the Hornets with 50 big points, after the all star break, the super star themselves are showing as we have seen some of them registering 40+ and even 50+ points in a game.

It's a needed win for the Nets, Drummond also has a big game with 20 points, Durant played 40 points, score 14 points, good enough for this big win.

Finally a win for the Brooklyn Nets with Kyrie Irving 50 points, and Durant on the court, They beat the Hornets easily and they will improve when Ben Simmons joins them in the court as well but when will he return to the court to play with them? that's a major question right now because they keep changing the schedule, They should be added to the starting 5 because they are struggling right now and we might not see them play in the playoffs if they keep winning a few games like this.

The big thing for me isn’t that Kyrie scored 50, it’s that he did it on 15/19 from the field and 9/12 from the 3 point line. That sort of efficiency is incredibly impressive. I couldn’t do it with nobody guarding me… Props to Kyrie. This was probably one of the best games of his career.

Also a big deal tonight… Kawhi Leonard on the floor before the Clippers game shooting warmup shots. Seems like he’ll be back and in shape in time for the playoffs. A big deal for Clippers fans for sure.

We don't really know until we saw him playing, but with that performance from Kyrie

it seems that he's making something to bring the team back being competitive and with KD is also around
the chance that they will start winning after this game.

Westbrook really does need to focus on his shooting.  As athletic a player as he is, as he gets older he's going to have to develop into more of a Carmelo Anthony rebounding and set shooter type of player if he wants to get another contract.

That's the problem that I want to see him refine more. He is not that bad of a shooter before and he even made game-winning jump shots. But this year it had been on a bad statistics and it will keep on going until he admits he needs more practice on that field.
He has 1 more year in his contract which amounts to $47m and I doubt any team would like him if nothing will change. Lakers will have a hard time trading him and I think Magic is sugarcoating it that's why he says those things.
Threat? Do those things really happen for playing that bad? If you are playing great then threats will come like what happened to MJ but I doubt with WB.

Monster game by the Milwaukee Bucks defeating OKC with a big lead. Giannis at 39 points in just 28 minutes of game time.
OKC might be one of the worst teams but that is just unacceptable to let that guy do that much of a damage in just a short amount of time.

The battle for the Kia MVP is getting interesting as the three big men average are almost identical. Jokic is ahead thanks to his assists while Embiid and Giannis are dominating in the points area. Rebounding average are close.
When did we last see three combined center and forwards competing for that award? 2003? Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal? Correct me if I am wrong.

Tremendous display of efficiency showed by Kyrie today. It's kinda rare to see a player who can score 50 with less than 20 fg. Usually, players who scored 50+ had to make 30+ field goals.
Can't wait for the playoffs though, and I'm really hoping everyone is healthy when playoffs comes.

After Lebron James, we watched a similar performance by Kyrie Irving last night against Charlotte Hornets. He scored 50 points in this game and that was really incredible to witness. And his field goal and 3-pointer accuracy was so high that it was fabulous. He scored 9 3-pointers which was amazing. Irving is a very special player undoubtedly. But he is able to play in only away games which is a big problem for Nets. I hope that he stops being obstinate and takes the covid-19 jab as soon as possible.

They were the certain favourite to be victorious of course and they did what was expected from them as a result. And there was a great rivalry between Gilgeous-Alexander and Giannis. Gilgeous-Alexander got 33 points, 8 rebounds and 14 assists. And Giannis got 39 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Both of these statistics are mesmerizing to me. I appreciate their huge efforts.

Philadelphia 76ers v Chicago Bulls is really like a playoff game. Each one of them is doing an amazing job in this season. And my expectation level from each of them is quite high truthfully. Especially 76ers are really promising for the playoffs and even the title. I also believe that Harden has made a huge contribution to the team already now. The Harden - Embiid duo is going to be really great in the playoffs too hopefully. And when it comes to this game, I believe in 76ers to destroy their competitor.

Right now the 76ers have all the advantages because they will try to win this game since they lost their last game without James Harden. now he is playing again and has 11 points in halftime. As the Bulls are struggling today, they continue to catch up not letting the lead reach up to double-digit at the end of the first half. Anything can happen in the last 24 minutes of the game I hope it would be a last-minute battle between these two current heavyweight teams.

Rough game for the Bulls, dropping their fifth straight game. However it wasn’t really a fair matchup. The Bulls were missing three starters, Vucevic, Ball, and Patrick Williams. Also still have Alex Caruso out. So they were down four of their best players and 3 starters, so not really a fair fight. The sixers are a damn good team though, but I can’t wait to see the Bulls play them when healthy.

Definitely was not fair because the Bulls is heavily undermanned compared to the Sixers, but yeah we can't deny that Sixers now is a good tough team and they deserve the spot they have now.

While the Bulls have dropped so deep now, they need survive the upcoming games without getting into the 7th spot to avoid playing more games in the play-in tournament. Caruso is likely to play this week though, he is now getting his clearance to play from the doctor while Ball and Vucevic is expected to be out in a week or two.

I saw a statistic that the Bulls haven't beaten a top ranked team all year long.  I was shocked by that because they've been having a great season.  It is extremely concerning though that this team can't beat good teams.  Sure, they've had some injury issues lately, but that shouldn't keep them from beating a single good team one time.  I'd hate to see this team make a first round playoff exit, but that is a damning statistic.  Hopefully everyone comes back healthy and strong, ready to make a push higher in the rankings.  They were my favorites to reach the eastern finals a few weeks ago, but I'll admit after seeing that statistic I have my doubts as to whether they'll make it out of the first round. 

Yes, same here! Chicago Bulls is also one of my early favorites. Who wouldn't get this team as one of their favorites to reach the playoffs, right? But yes we cannot neglect that fact and surely statistics don't lie. They may be really hurting now because of their current situation and they could really lose a seat in the playoffs if they cannot manage to win in their upcoming games, 1 month more and the regular season will end.

You’re exactly right. They are in a dangerous position now of dropping even further and getting a much worse playoff spot. I would be less concerned if their schedule wasn’t so difficult going forward for the rest of the year. Needless to say this is a must win tonight versus the Pistons, who should be an easy win.
