I don’t know why KD feels he can issue ultimatums like this. He’s under contract. What is he going to do, sit out all season and not get paid while losing another year of his career at the end of his prime? The Nets are under no obligation to do anything for him. After the annoyance Kyrie has been though, this strategy of being a squeaking wheel might work. Seems like KD and Kyrie want to blow up the organization and move on. They moved quick. Maybe he's replicating what harden do so that the Nets will be force to trade him because of this bullshit team. Maybe they need to restructure this side and create rules that if a player sign a contract he need to finish it since many stars abuse this and destroy the team rooster as well as the chemistry because of the drama created by this spoiled stars.

I read an article recently about the GSW management interview regarding Draymond Green possible trade since GSW has a lot to handle in there plate while Green is demanding a max contractthat will last up to 10yrs. The management is considering Green age will not give them the best benefit later on if they allow his request. They are looking for potential trade with Aaron Gordon since Gordon is still young and has a lotof room for improvement. Is this unfair to Green once this trade proceed?
I believe 10 years on a contract is a long time for Draymond Green, despite him being an important player for the Warriors I don't know if that would be worth the risk, despite he is already 32 years old. But weren't there rumors that Green would sign a 5-year contract with Warriors? Teams aren't even allowed to offer contracts up to that length. I don't know where they read that, but I would immediately stop reading that publication because they don't know what they are talking about. The max contract you can extend someone is 5 years and in some cases only 4 years.

I already read this in my twitter feed and yeah, that is disrespectful for KD to let the owners chose between him and Kyrie over Nash and Sean Marks. And if I'm not mistaken he has his hands on firing the previous coach Atkinson who also have build a good rapport with the Nets players and when him and Kyrie enters the franchise, they fuck everything up.

So Durant now is higher than the owner of the Nets then to the point that he will issue ultimatums like this . Apparently hours after it has been released, the owner Joe Tsai twitted this: LINKOur front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets. With this tweet, I think the Nets will do everything and will accept trade packages just to trade Durant. Durant is like a crybaby TBH and he thinks that he is the authority within the management. If the management are happier with letting Nash and Marks stay then just trade KD and it's done. It's so disrespectful that you are under a contract with a team and yet, you will make them decide which of you will let you stay.

The next Ben Simmons. What the hell happened to NBA letting these players talk like that as if they are the owners of one team? This recklessness will not get them anywhere, he might be one of the best players in the league but that character will definitely be avoided for recruitment as it will fuel rebellious acts to other players. Who wants that kind of guy in the locker room? Years ago he said he is like a sponge absorbing all the help he is getting from Coach Nash. Now that he is cornered and no team is offering better, he attacks the inside. I am starting to not like the way he acts. It's not even professional anymore, more like a child's tantrums.

If Kevin Durant wants to leave the team then Nets had better let him go by a nice trade. Being insistent on keeping him here would cause him to be more unhappy and this would be of no use for Nets in the coming season. Irving must be in the same situation now too but we are hearing about Durant the most these days. He has been likely to sign for Suns or Heat but I don't know if they are still interested in a trade for him. Both of those teams would be nice for him imo.

And that's literally the problem why the Nets are not letting him go yet. They want a good piece of the pie in exchange for a better one. That should be enough sacrifice for them but no teams had offered a good one yet. I bet Kyrie is realizing how bad the situation will be if he talks too that's why he is just silent about this. Besides, it will be better for him if KD will be traded and he will be left as a Nets and try to be the leader which he had been dreaming of. There's too much sacrifice in roleplayers the Heat and Suns will make if they will try to grab KD. Both will be crippled in chemistry terms.

I think they are willing but definitely there are looking for a bunch of good players in exchange of Durant. Just look at how many players the Wolves has to give up in order to get Rudy Gobert, 4 future draft picks, and 5 players if I'm not mistaken, so what more if the name is Kevin Durant? So the Nets are looking in that kind of trade, but so far no teams are willing to bite on that. So Durant might end up with the Nets still in the coming season. Or if he really wanted to go the lengths of sitting down and not playing because he feel he doesn't want to, then so be it.

Or I guess he thinks he is above the coach and Sean Marks. And who will be the replacement if ever he has the 'power' again? The league is somewhat messed up with this star players that will command and will have a lot of demands and very vocal. Yes, we understand the players are the heart and soul of the team and they are the one the leading for the franchise to win a title. But I will never understand why he needs the owner to choose and issue ultimatum. Anyhow, we will see the fallout in the next couple of months.

. It's quite hilarious too. But I think his reasons are understandable. With him not fully hitting his potentials due to injuries, I still see him as a start up fave for the season, but if Tsai has got his sights on new signings, he'd have to let Durant go as the player seems unhappy and does not have faith in the teams direction.

They like that, but does the other team who will receive Durant are willing to grant the request of the Nets, seemed like the Nets demanded a lot in exchange of Durant, so the trade is not happening until now. Maybe one more season with the Nets, if Durant will prove himself not getting eliminated easily in the playoffs, then probably some teams will be interested in dealing with the Nets.

And its good for Tsai to give what Durant wants because if they continue to keep him on the rooster then maybe they will get another upset next season.

He made it public already, a player demanding to be traded, that simply implies that he doesn't wanna play with the team anymore. Nets were hype when they acquired Durant and Irving, but now, this team has become a disaster and most likely end up not getting in the playoffs due to the drama inside.

Nets is also not going to let it easy for KD if he wants to move out he and his camp needs to find a team that's willing to give what the Nets wants in returned, He still in a contract which gave the Nets the right to choose in each offer that any team can provide, if there's nothing that fits to what they are asking they can continue having KD even he's demanding for a trade. In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash. The Team owner needs to balance his decision it's not easy but for the future of his franchise my personal take is to let KD go, he still have someone that can compete and willing to play for the team, he just need to win with the trade getting younger players that are fit to how the system works.

I just don't think KD and Kyrie are compatible with each other. Maybe it worked a little when they had Harden at point guard since the guy is unselfish and is willing to adjust. But when injuries started to hamper the team it also started to destroy the chemistry, especially Kyrie's attitude, and dramas. Harden left and they got another drama artist player in Ben Simmons who's a good defender but a bad shooter which I believe is necessary for a KD-Irving play. I don't know if KD is just trying to avoid bashing Kyrie and maybe even Simmons too because he might possibly play with them this season so Nash is the casualty that can be replaced easily rather than dealing with the superstar players.

That is what the Brooklyn Nets have been trying to do for the past month or so. But the Brooklyn Nets is keen to wipe the other team who wants Durant with talents that is why no one is biting. They are willing to let him go but won't allow the other team to be competitive when they got Durant. I think it is understandable they want that because of the chaos Durant has brought into their organization. I just don't think KD and Kyrie are compatible with each other.
They are good together in court. It is only their personal drama that keeps on getting the way of their performance in the court. If kyrie just have played last year, instead of avoiding the vaccine, Harden should have not left. They could have at least got on the conference finals. But they prioritize their drama over their profession. And now, they have caused too much chaos in their organization. I don't know if KD is just trying to avoid bashing Kyrie and maybe even Simmons too because he might possibly play with them this season so Nash is the casualty that can be replaced easily rather than dealing with the superstar players.
We know KD and Irving are friends. He still supports Irving even after what happened to their team last season. Maybe, you are right. But the organization still supports Nash and Marks. They rather let go of Durant than remove the leader of their organization.

I am getting off the trend for now. It's too painful to hear more. I just realized this team can be lethal when healthy. From an offensive team years ago to a mixed type of players. Jerami Grant can work both offense and defense and GPII can help out. Dame could focus on his offensive attack and save his energy on the defensive end if he will let GPII guard whoever they are switching with him. They have a veteran with Joe Ingles and young guys who showed great potential last season. They might reach 7th or 8th next season and win the play-in tournament. (Healthy)

I think that they were able to play together pretty , and I think the main problem was that they didn’t play together for very long. Kyries holdout due to not wanting to get vaccinated for a pretty big issue for their team chemistry. If they play together for a full years I could see much better results.

Westbrook is a big trouble for Lakers and they couldn't find a way to get rid of him, so what Nets could do is give them Irving if Lebron is fine with it, and get some picks or smaller players with him as well to make it work. Suns and Durant is a big question, I still don't know how that could be done.
What do you mean by that? Do you seriously think that the Nets will just give up Irving for Westbrook just because the Lakers are having a hard time with him? That is not an easy thing to do because the Nets had given up huge amounts of sums for Irving even though he didn't play that much last season that's also why the Nets aren't giving Irving a max contract because of that. Though Irving has opted to be in the Nets in his final year rather than being a free agent, he also said that he will stay at Brooklyn Nets.

In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash. So, how is KD going to get a coach fired who, he himself handpicked? haha. I guess he's done that before.
You're certainly right about that! Don't know why Durant feels that he is that much entitled to let the owner choose between him or the general manager and head coach, where does that come from? Yes, he is a great player and is a 2x NBA champion but this is way over his head though. Joe Tsai doesn't need to choose because as you said, the franchise is under no obligation to follow Durant's requests. Let him sit in his whole contract if he doesn't want to play because the time that the contract is finished, he will be older enough to know that he won't amount that much anymore.
