Lakers lose another close one to go to 0-3. Russell Westbrook still shooting terribly and costing them games down the stretch. LeBron put up 31 again on his quest to become the best scorer of all time. The star of the game though was Damian Lillard who got 41 points on 25 shots while carrying his team to a 2 point win over the Lakers. The Lakers really didn’t play bad. Even Westbrook didn’t turn the ball over. If he could just start making some shots they would be so much better…

I have to agree that the Lakers is not really playing bad defensively, they just can't shoot. They might be under heavy pressure now and they can't shake off the bad start and continue missing shots, particularly the 3pt fg.
The next 7 opponent for the Lakers are also a tough teams. If they can't find a way to adjust their game and start winning, I'm afraid they'll start with 0-10.

Very disappointing loss of the Lakers, they were up but they allow the Blazers to rally and beat them. Again, very bad performance by Westbrook, he only manage to score 10 points from a very poor shooting, with his consistent performance, let us not anymore expect the Lakers will even reach the playoffs.

Jordan Clarkson is playing more minutes now than ever before, hope he won't get injured because it's really good to see such a team competing to stay on the top without the usual star players who helped them before.

Very disappointing loss to them and instead they do more better on their next game they became worst. Instead they motivate their players to be more hungry to win they play Russ blame card again for sure we cannot see any good competition coming with this team since at this very early stage of season they are destroying their chemistry that's why we see worse performance as a result.

Maybe they need to start trading their players because for keeping them maybe they will not reach again on playoffs.

This has been the case for the Lakers in this pre-season game, really hard to see what kind of adjustments they have to make to maximize and bring Westbrook out of the slump. They have to win big against a low team to have that confidence.

Miami Heat VS Toronto Raptors

The stake odds for this game are 1.63 for the Heat and 2.35 for the Raptors, Miami Heat will surely win this Yesterday's game the Heat have beaten the Raptors, and I have a parlay so I am going with the Heat,

Houston Rockets VS Utah Jazz

The stake odds for this game are 1.87 for the Rockets and 1.98 for the Jazz, I really like the Utah Jazz right now but I have a parley and this would be a close match but for me, I will be going with the Rockets,

Memphis Grizzlies VS Brooklyn Nets

It amazes me to see youngsters playing like this.
Lauri Markkanen, well he showed how good he is during the Eurobasket. They defeated so many good teams there with his help but they were unlucky to face the champions Spain in the playoffs.
That is where I believed this guy will be something in NBA but I didn't expect it will be now. 
If there is a comparison, this type of his game is like the young Kevin Love in Timberwolves. Maybe better, because of Lauri's passing ability.
Now they defeated one of the teams that I am predicting to be Finals contenders, the Pelicans. A very good start for the Jazz.

Now with regards to the Pelicans, I said that they are the "dark horse" of the league right now and that is the team to watch out in my opinion. Will they reach the playoffs? Yes, they will. How high they can get in the playoffs? I think they can go as high as Conference Semi-Finals only. They are too young, and their roster is too inexperienced when it comes to the playoffs, and we know how experience affects the performance of the team during the playoffs. They are a promising team yes but to win the title is too exaggerated at least for me but I will be surprised if they might take it all and be the WCF champions.

They'll be very tough to beat this season, they have a good defense and they have great players that could penetrate inside. Zion, Ingram, and Jonas V., these guys are hard to stop, plus they also have some shooters and great defenders, so it's not gonna be easy. Let us not forget that the best team last season which was the Suns were having a hard time beating a zion less Pelicans, now that they are complete, things will be different.

Great start so far, that's because Zion is healthy, hopefully nothing serious will happen to him as we will know what would happen if Zion will be injured. Look how confident the Pelicans are, they know they have a reliable superstars that are willing to carry the team, so they are not afraid to shoot the ball and be aggressive to grab rebounds.

Not that bad on their first loss of this season. I'm seeing a great chemistry in their team because Zion's return on the court lifted the morale of teammates that is why we can see them so confident in the court.

Of course, Jokic is a very valuable player, and the Nuggets management is well aware of that. As you probably know, the Nuggets agreed and signed a 5-year contract extension with him early in the offseason. So the Nuggets have already kept him for a long time since his current contract will only expire after the 27-28th season. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Jokic plays for the Nuggets his entire career.

Yeah, Actually Jokic is the most valuable player for in NBA right now since he is good on both offense and defense while he is still young,  The only reason why Nuggets still don’t get the championship or even close on WCF is because Jokic has no solid team mate that can cover him while he is resting. Nuggets play is centered to Jokic which is the reason why they are always being beaten by strong teams on playoffs but Aaron Gordon is now improving well and probably he will be one of the key player on Nuggets to help Jokic.

It will be a loss for Nuggets if they let Jokic be traded since they are the one who develop this player since his rookie days.

I have to say this is going to get me hated, but I find Jokic to be a bit overrated. Yes dude has good stats that's for sure, but he is a slow center that doesn't really have that much skill at scoring if you ask me, he is using what he has right now but when he gets older, his passing will be the only thing left for him to do, his scoring will drop a whole ton, and his style is not going to age that well.

I feel like Embiid is better, because he has the strength and fighting spirit that Jokic doesn't have. Smart players are valuable and Jokic is smart, but he is not going to be great for too many years, just 2 more years and we will see a steep decline for him if you ask me.

Don't worry mate because I'm also seeing the same thing, Jokic is indeed a bit overrated and I'm more inclined with Embiid because the latter have something more to give to the team and not just a literal role of center, also, Embiid can carry the team unlike Jokic that needs his teammate to bring the team to a win. Watching Jokic play is like seeing a slowed replay, I don't know why

Awesome 3 win streak by Celtics and it's not over mediocre teams. I am riding as well but not by handicap. Celtics won over Magic but only by six points. I only settled for the 1.42. Undefeated teams will try to stretch their streaks in this new season. I am riding with Jazz as well in a handicap.

Heat won over Raptors and they play again tomorrow. I took a -2.5 on Heat to repeat over Raptors. Heat also enjoys a home edge over Raptors. I want to bet on 76ers because obviously they want to their first win but the market is very low.

Players varies in their won style of game and technique, like Dreymond Green had some defend techniques which sometimes helped him in games but he's still not center, he's versatile and fit in any position at any given point in time. Jokic also taking similarities with Green but doesn't have strength and don't also defend like Green and let's not forget that they're both different interms of their qualities on the court. It's really scarce to see a complete player this present time but there still quite number of them and their team wouldn't want to let them go due to their performance and solid results for the team.

Green can defend some centers (with difficulty), but on the other hand, he can defend players smaller than him, for example some PF, SF and even SG

Another interesting information... Jokic is much more offensive, unlike Green, who is a defensive player.

Ja morant is a good player I am not against that, but people are overreacting on his good moves, and yes he is scoring a lot of points and he is playing well but that's a game that could be locked down easily with some good defense, a bit of zone on inside, some one step behind defending and you could lock him down on playoff games.

He needs to learn how to shoot threes a lot better to be a danger, nobody can defend Lebron like that, because even though he is a freight train when he wants to go in, and even at his age he dunks over people, he could also still kill you inside if he leave him open. Ja doesn't have that yet, and he needs to improve it asap if he wants to be a superstar.

I am not overreacting to him, he made 49 points in that game and that should be it. How often do we see players make that much score when they're not in a superteam unlike the other teams in the NBA? The boy is improving his threes and if it keeps on happening like that, for sure that there's something that will change the fate of his team. Well, we can say about such defense and offense in terms of words but when you're inside in the actual words, things will change and escalate quickly.

I don't really understand why there's this people who wanted to see a player who will always fits their visions, if it doesn't fit, they will say that he is overrated. Damn right. This is the same with the Ben Simmons case. He can't shoot, so why force it. Somehow, he will learn it on his way to being a star because he will need it to stretch the options of plays he can make as a point forward. If he can do a hesitation move acting like he was shooting, then he will be more terrifying as a ball handler.
Ja Morant on the other hand is already trying. He is shooting threes but his form is not yet perfect. Well, Steph's form is also not a good one because a good defender could easily block it if not for his quick release. Training is the key.

Ja Morant dropped 49 points in their game against the Rockets! Jalen Green also did great and there's no other front-runner on this team despite being one year with the team, his contribution is enormous, and not surprised that he's got the second pick for round 1 last year.
Those that haven't watched some games of Ja should start watching him. Although he's got some bitter statements last time against MJ, this boy got really has something to show aside just from being athletic.

He already proved himself last season, he will be a hall of famer, I'm hoping that he will stay healthy so injury will not kill his career. That game we've seen how athletic he is, it's fun to watch the Memphis with him due to lots of highlights. Also, great job by Jalen Green, there's no superstar in the team but he is playing hard, so soon we might see him leading this team.

He is one of the most unguardable players on the court no matter who is on the court.  Is his game perfect, no but he is young.  As far as him needing something to become a superstar that's not the case.  Dude is likely the best one on the court in most games...he IS a superstar.  He would shred zone defenses just as much as he would man to man.

Too bad Both Zion and Ingram were unable to complete the game due to injuries, that hard hit of Zion worries the NOP so they need to
bench him and assess his condition, same with Ingram. He just played for 11 mins but he score 10 points. What more if he completed
the game, lucky escape for the Jazz.

That was a rough landing there but JC was really get that block from behind way too clean. Well, can't say it was just a lucky thing but who knows? JC has more minutes now compared the last season and I think it befits on him. For Zion, I think his minutes will be restricted considering his last game with Jazz is somewhat worrisome.

Honestly did not expected Lakers to start this bad. I get the warriors loss, but this latest Portland loss is a big bells are ringing type of deal. They were not ready for the season? Did they not really worked hard on figuring out how they could get better?

It's obvious that they were bad last year, you can't just roll the dice again and hope for a better result, they needed to change some things, even if not in the roster (which they have a bit) but also with the plays. Look at Spurs, they have one of the worst teams in the league and yet they started 2-1, one of the wins coming from Sixers. That's the difference between a good coach and a bad coach.
