Update, Utah Jazz from number 1 in the West is now ranked at number 4. I think they should start winning games.

They just have one to two more loss than those teams that are 1-3 ranking. But look at their winning stat, they've got more games and got one more win than them.

It is that this ranking thing is based on how many lose a team does but in comparison with the other teams, Jazz got the most games which is in total of 20 games.

While the ranks 1-3 have an average of 17-18 games.

It is just a slight difference and nothing to worry about. People just loved to see the rankings as the basis of power without even going to the small details to see the correct details and that they got more wins. They may be ranked 4th in the West now but that doesn't mean that they are much weaker than the teams above those said rank, moreover, that's already too much to expect from newly formed team who are expected to be tanking this season.

Just getting to the playoffs would be their best performance this season and surely they will gonna be torn against their opponents in their western conference because the Sacramento Kings this season is like the Memphis last season, even though there aren't any superstars in the team, they can surpass other teams that haven't played well even though they have all the necessary players to win a championship. If they can continue winning at such a rate, obviously their spot in the playoff tree will be guaranteed for sure.

It is the best shot that they got, and just like the Sacramento Kings the Utah Jazz doesn't have any all-stars as well but they are performing awesomely, well the Kings would eventually need to get their Chemistry and Momentum I think the Sacramento Kings may do it but for me, the Sacramento is a sure team that could go to the playoffs, but I could be wrong or this could also be a fluke,

Houston Rockets VS Atlanta Hawks

The stake odds for this game are 3.50 for the Rockets while 1.33 for the Hawks, Right now Jae'Sean Tate can not play for the Rockets while Bruno Fernando, Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, and Josh Christopher are questionable if they can play, while Bogdan Bogdanovic can not play for the Hawks and Jarrett Culver is questionable if he can play, for this Rockets is not in a good shape right now and this could be a one-sided game knowing the Hawks even though Bogdan Bogdanovic can not play for me the Hawks will win this,

Milwaukee Bucks VS Cleveland Cavaliers

The stake odds for this game are 1.68 for the Bucks and 2.25 for the Cavaliers, for the Bucks Joe Ingles can not return until next year, Khris Middleton can not play today, while Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton is questionable if they can play, while Ricky Rubio, Dylan Windler, Caris LeVert and Kevin Love can not play and Lamar Stevens are questionable if he can play, for this game I think that because of so much injuries the Cavaliers have the Bucks will win this,

Boston Celtics VS Sacramento Kings

The stake odds for this game are 1.27 for the Celtics and 3.80 for the Kings, Injuries for the Celtics are still the same, while the Kings also got no injuries, for this game, because the Celtics duo is doing great a number of people like them to win so will go with the Celtics aswell,


Golden State Warriors VS Utah Jazz

The stake odds for this game are 1.33 for the Warriors and 3.45 for the Jazz, Right now these are the two teams that I like, and as they are about to face one another I got to see who's really going to win and if what play could be more interesting, Warriors doesn't have injuries except Andre Iguodala, while Rudy Gay, Mike Conley, and Johnny Juzang can not play while Leandro Bolmaro is questionable, but still the Jazz got an exceptional team ready to play but for me, I am going with the Warriors but if the Jazz win I will not be frustrated at all,

On the one hand, it's good that there are leagues in which teams are always willing to sign NBA veterans. On the other hand, the competition in the T1 league seems pretty weak, which means that even a good performance in this league may not be enough to convince NBA scouts.

Jazz have lost two matches in a row. Before that, they were showing positive performances. I know some of the matches they've played have been really close. But they did get the result in their favor. From the next game on, I hope they will be able to perform better.

I was disappointed with their game against the Pistons, they should win that game but we didn't see that because what happened was the opposite. I don't know if their method was already exposed, or they are just not making an adjustment in the game. Clarkson was still the best score in that game but their big man wasn't so efficient that time, hopefully, they'll bounce back in their next game.

Next game will be up against the Warriors, that's surely a tough one for them, but upsets are possible.

That's a big test for the Jazz, it will be their 3rd losing streak if they will lose this game. The warriors are 8-1 at home and they have a good rest before this game, so this should be fun as we all know that Jazz is a very surprising team. I like the Warriors but I'm thinking of taking the Jazz ML, just for fun.

If you are a fan of risking for much better odd, then taking Jazz for your pick would give you a decent one. ML will surely attract you, though, just like what you also mentioned, Warriors is 8-1 playing at home.

Something that also needed to analyze Warriors win their last game at home as they
didn't give any chance for Clippers to snatch the game away from them.

Utah Jazz's ML is actually juicy, they are the underdogs here so there would be many bettors who will risk their chances for those odds. But they have to be in their best shape because they will be playing with the Warriors in their own homecourt which will be difficult as they have good records when they are playing at Chase Center. The Jazz will be highly tested I reckon but things might sideways as well because the Warriors are somehow unpredictable these days.

Its Lakers performance that has been the issue though, not AD or Lebron James. Both can have good numbers in a game, but if there are no supporting cast helping them in terms of production, then the same problem will occur, (not winning games). But the numbers that Davis has been putting in the last 4 to 5 games is really impressive.

I'll tail on the Atlanta Hawks vs Houston Rockets game, I think the Hawks will win and likely cover -7.5.

Based on recent rumors, it seems like DeMarcus Cousins will be playing in Taiwan with Dwight Howard soon.

Actually, it was not a rumor but it was close to happening. DeMarcus Cousins will play in Taiwan’s T1 League.

What remains unofficial is what team he will play. But one thing is for sure, he will continue his basketball career in Taiwan.

At least, he won't remain vacant and idle for long as he really still has that good playing level although unable to fully compete with today's NBA.

Taiwan is starting to become the go to place of ex-NBA players huh. Players from Taiwan will learn a lot from these players. This will improve their skills drastically in the future. I wonder, if this continues, how long before Taiwan become a superpower in basketball in Asia.

West on the other hand seems to be unpredictable. Many teams are shockingly better than the teams we expected to dominate this season.

It is still too early too to tell anyway. The teams are still under 20 games in the season. A lot can still change. Sometimes a trade or an injury will suddenly change the landscape of a conference. Maybe we wait until after the All-star season before we can see who the real dominant teams in the West are.

I think if LeBron James joins the equation as you said, this team is likely to get far better in my opinion. Obviously, if the players start playing well as a team and everyone on the team starts contributing, the star players are going to have less pressure on them. When the players know that there are other players who can come in the clutch, it will be easier for them to perform freely. That will relieve them of a lot of burden. Anthony Davis, Walker, Westbrook, and LeBron James are all set to make the team very strong together. I just hope that the players stay healthy.

That is yet to be proven though. They were losing when Lebron was around and controlling the ball. They are winning when Lebron is sidelined, and the ball has a good rotation. I think Lebron needs to step back and let the young guys take control of the ball. He is still good but becomes a liability in defense when he is on the floor and hogs the ball for stats. That is ruining the team.

This shows that they are not wanted in the locker room neither, because they are surely accepting vet minimum right now and not even offered that, and a talent like them for vet minimum is a bargain, so it must be about locker room issues.

Yes, perhaps this era is different from previous one, teams are really looking for young guy coming from the bench to contribute. As compare to this veteran players who can still give a good 10 points or more per game. We've seen them last year and I would say that they can still play even Cousins and Carmelo, can provide spark coming from the bench. Anyhow, at least they have their careers outside of the NBA, making good money, feel good as they are treated as superstars in Taiwan or some other league. And that could be enough for them till they retire for good.

Speaking of Dwight Howard though, he responded to Shaq calling the league 'Lifetime Fitness league'. Howard said it's disrespectful for calling the league like that. And that Shaq is too old to be hating.

I noticed that with the absence of one of these players, I noticed that the Lakers had a significant performance improvement.

The chemistry between Anthony Davis and Lebron James is not really a problem.

Regardless if James is there or not, I see Anthony Davis will still maintain his consistent recent performance.

What I'm worried about are those guys that still not yet getting along smoothly with LBJ on the court. If LeBron James now comes back, expect some PG role again on his side that might change the phase of playing of their supporting role players.

Lebron played tonight and tallied 21-8-5 against the Spurs.
That's also why Davis' numbers are slight lower than where it was when Lebron didn't play. Russ didn't have a good night scoring only 3 points but it's a good thing that Brown Jr and Walker stepped up offensively thus, getting the victory on the road.

The problem with the Lakers tonight is their turnovers. 22 turnovers are very high and if you want to enter the playoffs then at least lessen the average turnovers per game. What's even worse is even though Lakers got 22 turnovers, the Spurs didn't maximize on that one because they are one of the worst defensive teams right now in the league. The Lakers still won by 11 points despite having 22 turnovers. They need to lessen it in their next games, but the good thing is the Lakers is starting to get their momentum and Davis is starting to be what he was when they won in the bubble, and he's becoming more efficient in his new position as their starting center.
