We have been watching a different Warriors than the one we were used to watch in the recent seasons. They haven't made a good start to this season. They have lost the half of their games so far. Curry can't carry the team all the time in the end so they need to keep up a good team performance. I remember the game Curry scored 50 points in but they still lost. Wiggins has also been impressive by consistent and good statistics for a long time. He has made a really important score contribution so far - 20+ points in the recent times.

Thompson is still not able to play like in the old times. There was a game in which he scored 41 points recently and that made me excited. But he is still inconsistent. If he improves his scoring performance a little more it would be really helpful for the team.

The pressure of being the defending champ creates more negative feedback for the Warriors unlike last season, where most of the fans think that they are an underdog and each wins gives them a credit.

Now, every loss are counts as criticism. They continue to receive negative feedback stating that they are not the same Warriors that we used to watch before, nothing to say, but I just like to give credit to all the improving teams.

Update, Utah Jazz from number 1 in the West is now ranked at number 4. I think they should start winning games.

They just have one to two more loss than those teams that are 1-3 ranking. But look at their winning stat, they've got more games and got one more win than them.

It is that this ranking thing is based on how many lose a team does but in comparison with the other teams, Jazz got the most games which is in total of 20 games.

While the ranks 1-3 have an average of 17-18 games.

After watching the first ~fifth of the season one thing is for sure, the Celtics are the team to beat in the East.  The duo of taytum and brown are unstoppable.  If they stay healthy all year long I can see them running the table end to end.  No other team has a twosome as good as them right now.

Correct. That's for the East. My prediction will be them in the Conference Finals but the team they will be up against will be difficult to forecast.
There are the Bucks which for sure will be in the playoffs, then the Cavaliers, a complete roster with twin towers and powerful guards. Finally, the Atlanta Hawks surprised us again by shaping up in the season. Almost like a Deja Vu.
I had never seen Tatum miss games due to injury. It's Jaylen Brown who had a history with his foot if I am not mistaken. They better take care of themselves.

West on the other hand seems to be unpredictable. Many teams are shockingly better than the teams we expected to dominate this season.

A win-win for both parties as the player might be paid higher than what they are giving to their local player (it's the case with Howard this season) and at the same time, getting ex-NBA players will boost the popularity of the T1 league.

I guess Cousins can still be a dominant player. Him and Davis are the top scoring players back when they are at Pelicans. Injuries caused Cousins' career to decline but I think he can still dominate a league lower than NBA obviously. Just look what Howard is doing right now in Taiwan. Dominating the paint, a double-double machine and also shooting threes as well .

Even if the first round of the playoffs is their limit, that would already be an impressive achievement for the Kings' franchise, given that their last playoff game was 16 seasons ago.

If the Kings will go to the playoff this season, then this could be their best season yet as we haven't seen them in the 1st round. And yes they are one of the early surprises for this year, and hopefully they can maintain their run. It's just the beginning of the season and many things can happen.

Just like the Lakers who obviously are struggling, and even the GSW are inconsistent eventhough Steph Curry is having number greater than when he won a unanimous MVP in 2015 if I'm not mistaken. So still a lot of games to be seen, we have the All Star Break in February, meaning we are half way so by that time we might have some picture of the top 4 and what teams are going to be in the 4-8 and for the play-in.

Kings' winning streak has been interrupted. Honestly, they had been on a really consistent winning streak so far till the last match. And I do not think that they are about to even think about missing the playoffs. The type of performance that they were able to show is enough to give them a lot of confidence. Right now I bet they are not even thinking about missing the playoffs.

Jazz have lost two matches in a row. Before that, they were showing positive performances. I know some of the matches they've played have been really close. But they did get the result in their favor. From the next game on, I hope they will be able to perform better.

I was disappointed with their game against the Pistons, they should win that game but we didn't see that because what happened was the opposite. I don't know if their method was already exposed, or they are just not making an adjustment in the game. Clarkson was still the best score in that game but their big man wasn't so efficient that time, hopefully, they'll bounce back in their next game.

We will see, as you have said, Jazz is one team that surprises us all in the West, but now they are on a 2 game losing skid. Sacramento on the other hand, lost against Trae Young. Although they have been dominated, they try to make a comeback in that game but they just fell short.

Probably need a win in their home court so get back the confidence because it will be just a waste if they started to lose after having a good start.

So this is a mind game for the team, both of them, they have to look at it one game at a time.

That's a big test for the Jazz, it will be their 3rd losing streak if they will lose this game. The warriors are 8-1 at home and they have a good rest before this game, so this should be fun as we all know that Jazz is a very surprising team. As some people have said in the previous posts, the Lakers are not performing as a team. Three players for the Lakers, Anthony Davis, Westbrook, and Walker played well. They tried very well, but it was a team effort from the Suns. And I think that’s why they won the game.
I cannot agree that they had a great game last night because it’s true that the star players of the team played very well and if this continues they are going to see positive results in recent future. But I am saying this again, this has to be a team effort.

It should be because that is one of the easiest way to win a game without burning out their superstars due to the load they are carrying each game, it is still best for a team especially the Lakers if almost everyone can do their respective jobs and effectively do their assigned posts. So far, AD, Walker and WB is getting impressive but that might change soon if Lebron will once again join the equation.

I think if LeBron James joins the equation as you said, this team is likely to get far better in my opinion. Obviously, if the players start playing well as a team and everyone on the team starts contributing, the star players are going to have less pressure on them. When the players know that there are other players who can come in the clutch, it will be easier for them to perform freely. That will relieve them of a lot of burden. Anthony Davis, Walker, Westbrook, and LeBron James are all set to make the team very strong together. I just hope that the players stay healthy.

That's the right punishment. I won't disagree with it because he reacted too harshly but I am still on his side about what he had done.
Ayton may have not done much but I want to see NBA punish this kind of action too as players won't be overreacting if there's no harm done.
I have seen some harm when he used his foot forward at the back of Reaves. It won't even happen if he didn't initiate. I didn't even need the replay to see thru what Ayton is doing, it's too obvious.

The Celtics duo did a good number again. Luka Doncic cannot shoulder everything, he will need someone that will step up his game to match this offensive monsters. From start to finish, it was an obvious win for the Celtics because the Mavericks are having a hard time to make stops.

Jason Kidd should at least change tactics and strategy if Doncic's bunch of role-player teammates are not getting their rhythm. For example, if most starters getting a tough night and having a hard time finding their rhythm, how about considering someone to take their place and give chance to others?

Specifically, I want to point out that they should fully utilize their rookie, Christian Wood. There's no problem with Doncic's consistency in every game but if the Mavericks are still losing despite him always getting good numbers, that's a big concern that they need to address.

That is true, Luka's consistency will be pointless if he cannot have anything inside the team that can match him and will somehow balance the play that he is doing. The others were not that consistent like him anymore, except this Christian Wood who is kind of making some noise recently. I agree that Jason Kidd should give him more exposure to make use of him in the upcoming games and to be more accustomed once the league gets tougher, I mean, what's the use of acquiring him if he won't be utilized.
