NBA is a different tournament; some players who are good in the EuroLeague do not last in the NBA, so hopefully, he will be an exception. Personally, I don't follow the EuroLeague, so I would not expect much from him. I'm not riding the hype; this is the NBA, a big stage. I also hope he will be given more playing time so he can showcase his talent. The Bulls are not a playoff team as of now, despite having their big 3 as superstars, so let's see how he can help the team improve.

We have many good Europeans in the league now, actually 3 of the top players are Europeans, Jokic, Doncic, and Giannis, they actually play better and their style is somehow different from Americans which I think is the key to why they are unpredictable in their skill set. I am sure Onuralp Bitim will be helpful in some ways. He can shoot and he can drive with his springy legs so again, hard to predict.

Sure, he is worth more and he showed it in his last year performance. I think it will be normal as they expected too much from him. He sure can bring the energy up of the fans of New Orleans when he is playing but that is a short-term happiness for them. That is interesting. But, as far as I understand, it will not definitely affect his possible nba career. As far as I understand, these things can happen. I’m not a big fan of his. I think a big part of the reason that his stats are so high is because he plays for a terrible team. He’s basically a Kemba Walker on the Hornets type of situation. Move him elsewhere and he may end up in the bench. Maybe that’s a bad take, but I was surprised his team did as well as they did. I don’t expect a repeat next season.

I will not say terrible, but the term "young" would fit better than it.

Not against your opinion, and I agree with the fact that he's on a team which is considered mediocre last season, but on the other hand, I think that the Thunder team has a future especially him. Just imagine how many draft picks they have in the future years. If 1 or 2 of them will be developed, and be an all-star alongside Shai, with that young age they might dominate the league for a number of years. Like you though, I was also surprised on how they performed last season knowing that they are a young team.

I would also bet on the Warriors next season. With CP3 on their roster, it will not be hard for them to score, as he is one of the best passers in the NBA. CP3, along with Curry and Thompson, will likely create plenty of open opportunities for scoring, and Curry won't tire easily since he won't have to carry the ball all the time.

I'm not sure if they will play him as a starter, but if they do, that's my perspective.

Don't expect too much on CP3 because he will likely play on the bench. It will either he will play on the bench, or he will be traded after the all-star. If he doesn't want the role, he will get traded. That's my take on him.

TBH, I didn't expect that this contract will push through. Maybe the impact of Brown towards the success of the team for the past few years is just that big that they give him that huge contract. I wonder how will Tatum respond to this one knowing that he has more impact than him in terms of success.

Anyway, congratulations for him for getting the richest contract in NBA history. I just hope that his performance in the future will be better now than what it last season.

That's almost x2 of Tatum's contract, as per report, his projected salary next seasons is $32,600,060, way lower than what Brown would receive, but it should not change the chemistry of the team as the management could decide to give Tatum a big contract as well once he will renew, but of course, he has to give the expectation of the team management so they will give him a bigger contract.

Might be, but for sure Tatum might have this in his mind next season about that huge contract that Brown is getting. And we think that he is the franchise player of the Celtics, however, if he is also going to be offered a huge money, then what will happen to the rest of the contract of their players?

They still need to find decent players to surround this two, a good center, a point guard and other role positions and they still need to offer them good to decent money. So the Celtics need to balance out everything, or it could be true that they are shifting everything to Jaylen Brown now?

I am not following the NBA too much nowadays. But still, there is no denying from even someone like me that this is a huge contract. He’s going to get a really good amount of money from his contract. But I agree with you guys that the player will still have to be very concentrated on his performance and money should not bring any changes to the play style or behaviour of the player.

Tatum is a good player. But he will have to perform better in my opinion to actually get a contract like Jaylen Brown. But I don’t think it is impossible for Tatum to get a contract like that.
