its depend on how much you have your bitcoin, if its only 1 bitcoin, then i think you can not buy a house, but if you have 1000 bitcoin, then maybe you can buy a house. and its depend with how much the price of bitcoin too.

First of all ,op its your wish if you want to buy a house then buy it, if bitcoin price rises that high.i prefer to invest as a deposit in bank if i have that much btc.it not only give security but good profit also.
Thats correct, its up to the holder whether he wants to converts his bitcoin to fiat an buy a house or not. If the value can afford to buy a house,why not? If you are just renting an apartment, I think you should as shelter is one of our basic necessities. Shelter is one of the most common needs of a person and we should really make hard effort to build one or buy one. As you said as long our bitcoins could able to buy a house already we could always convert it to fiat and buy a house as long you do posses huge amounts of bitcoin. |

If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?
Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage. Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm. On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.
yes , why not , if you have btc and also money then you should buy a house with that bitcoin after cashout because if the price get lowered than what if you get loss . so never wait if you are in maximum profit . |

If you need to buy a home, yes. You should do it, but make sure you don't need anything else as a priority, like a car or beginning a business. You can begin a big business which, if it grows enough, you'll win way more than the money you saved.

well if you have enough coins then why not? it would be a very good investment, something that you'll hold on to until you get old. I think though it would be pretty challenging to accumulate enough bitcoin to purchase a house  Yes why you are not going to let the chance pass to you if you have enough bitcoins for buying your own home then buy it already. Because that is everyone's dream to have their own home. And that is on my list either and I want too my own home with the help of bitcoins. I hope this would happen to me in the near future. That would be the greatest achievement for a person if he can buy a house from his income in bitcoin, I am looking forward to that and hope that will happen to me soon, I also dream to make profit and can buy a house for my family. Hardwork is the best solution if you really want to earn much more bitcoin you need to work hard and manage properly your earnings or save it for your future.. if you don't save your words are useless.. Planning without actions are definitely worthless as you said the same. We would really need to work hard and save more in able to achieve our dreams not only just saying in your mouth because money dont come in an instant in your front it would really need actions. If buying a house would be available on the future,as long you could afford to buy a house, why not? |

That is what OP is saying, that if the price of bitcoin goes as high that the bitcoins he has could cover the price of a house then should he buy it or not, and i would probably say he should, because i know that house can also be used as a business because someone buys a house today and tomorrow the price of that house increases 30-40% so that would earn him a lot of profits, and it also can be used for living if he is buying it for that purpose. |

Yes, I think when bitcoin goes really high, buying a house is a very good investment. You can either decide to live in the house or rent it, which most of the time you can get more/month that your own cost. It's important for money to roll, for it's value to rise over time

Personaly I wouldn't buy the house, no matter how high the Bitcoin price gets. Maybe because house ownering is not so important to me and I don't see realestates as investment of my taste. But this is just the question of personal aspirations so for some people this is a good investment, especialy in countries where prices are high.

Op already mentioned his situation as he don't want to take a mortgage or paying a rent for living in a house. Based on what he mentioned he may have enough Butcoin that when its price goes up it will be enough for him to buy a house. It is good for him that he already plans early not on having extra expenses along the way. |

For me real states is really a great investment as i can see in my country or where i live it would probably worth way more later on if i buy a house now with my bitcoins so i personally think that someone should surely do it if he can as it will just earn him profits in long run. |

For me investing in bitcoin and buying a house and lot are almost the same in terms gaining profit when investing on it. Of course you use physically the house, better invest first in the house.

This is my dream to have a dream house and that is going to be a great achievement if I am able to buy my own house using bitcoins. For sure my parents are going to know how did I earn and bought that house and after buying my own house probably my next target is car.
