just thinking out loud but i suggest we forgo the swap, if it means losing cryptopia. Seriously in 2018 i think topia will be a goldmine like bittrex. just my 2 cent.
i been a long time holder of moin but not post here before but i watch here a lot to see updates. i agree with you about this because cryptopia is very important exchange for moin, most trading for moin is on there. i not understand why there needs to be a coin swap at all because moin is doing good without a need for a coin swap. Can't the dev make the current coin work in with the platform? I understand people's concerns with this and that is why I brought it up once the announcement for a coin swap was posted because I have seen with other coins such as Pie coin FootyCash and Solaris that they all needed to pay for a relisting fee once they had their coin swaps. Solaris is yet to be relisted but my point is that the listing is now way too expensive for a Cryptopia listing. However on the bright side we could always try and get MOIN listed on other exchanges like DEX exchanges as I believe they are the future to crypto trading. we can always submit to cryptobridge. I used it a few time and like the interface. Yes I think CryptoBridge is a very good option for MOIN, I'm on their DEX and have not had any problems so far and they are now adding more and more coins weekly so it could be a good time for MOIN to get listed. The fee is also cheap and the devs are open to offers I believe so maybe the MOIN dev can have a talk with them and see if MOIN can be listed on there in the near future. I'm hoping we get a better understanding on what is going to happen here with the next update. The end of the year is fast approaching and I hope we get most of the details before the end of the year. |

Something weird is happening in my wallet. I had a short break in electricity, and when I tried to start again Moin wallet I got empty wallet without balance. only after restarting again appeared exactly balance.
It is not a first time, always works without problems except this first running. I am using Qt version 5.5.0

MOIN is listed on many exchanges such as Cryptopia, Livecoin, CoinExchange and C-cex exchange. I hope that we see MOIN listed on CryptoBridge in the near future. Maybe its best to wait and see what direction the dev is taking MOIN and if there is going to be a coin swap for sure. @examplens I had the thing happen to me but when I restarted the wallet and then the balance showed up. |

I have always loved and held this coin until about 6 months ago I was hacked at the time I was holding 175k MOIN. I hope one day to get back on my feet and get back into crypto. I been trading since late 2011 and was doing very well. I planned on using all my crypto earnings to help send my four children to college and I was well on my way until the hackers struck taking everything I had and deleting everything off my computer, I could not even get it to boot up. Only thing I found was an open wifi port that I did not set up. No matter how good ot how safe you think you are hackers ate better then most. Sorry about the rant just brought a sore spot up.

I'm interested to see if there is any more news in this weeks updates on whether their will be a coin swap. The price has been up and down in recent weeks but has been falling in sats. I think once we get a better understanding on which direction MOIN is going the better.

Hey KingCaper< I don't think its uncertainty about MOIN, its just that Cryptopia plays hard ball when there is a coin swap. Right now Cryptopia is the best exchange that MOIN currently has as it has the most amount of volume on it daily so that is why most community members want to see MOIN remain on there. However with the coin swap you will have to pay to get relisted on there which is very expensive. So has there been any mention of this and what is the plan moving forward with Cryptopia? Also have you looked into CryptoBridge as a possible exchange to have MOIN listed on in the future? Thanks dev for posting and I hope you and the dev team have a Merry Christmas! |

Have to admit that the last update was not that informative but again it is Christmas time and everyone deserves a break.
Looking forward to 2018. Hope Moin can get at least to a top 250 which I think is not that unreasonable

Well that is a tough question in a way because we don't know what the future plans is for this coin swap yet, also now could be a good time as the price of MOIN is a lot cheaper then it has been. When the updates on the coin swap are released and people like what they see about the future developments then it could push the price up before the swap. So maybe buy some MOIN now and wait for when the updates are released before buying some more. |

can anyone explain how the holding rewards are paid with Moin? i only bought this coin a few days ago and i am currently holding in thier wallet. Website doesnt seem to give much away on how the rewards are paid and when.
The staking rewards are paid out in the same way other PoS 3.0 coins are. You can find technical details about it by searching but all you need to do to earn your rewards is have the wallet running, synced,with coins in it, unlocked. |
