Bitcoin without Altcoin ?

I just wanted to get your opinions on this one , what do you think Bitcoin would be if there was no Alternative coins such Litecoin & Dogecoin and the others ...
I mean it would be better with or without them Bitcoin would have no value at all ?

In my assesment bitcoin without  altcoin, it will be very hard for the member to mine it. It is because the price value of bitcoin is too high only can afford individuals can do that. Altcoin for me is an alternative way for the ordinary member here so that they can have bitcoin through altcoins once the price increase and can convert it into bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the origin and the core so I think it will be very fine without altcoin since it is the main, Altcoins in the other way won't actually exist without bitcoin since it is the main and gets the media coverage.

Yes you are correct, Bitcoin can exist continually even without altcoin. But one thing for sure the no.1 will affect are the different exchange platform, they will get less profit into it.

Bitcoin came  first and more worth than altcoins

Since bitcoin came first, after that altcoins appeared because of bitcoin. Which means bitcoin is the supreme master of all altcoins in crypto currencies.
It is obviously also that bitcoin has a unique concept other than the altcoin, and we knew that.

Bitcoin is the mother in crypto currency and without alt coin i think the price of bitcoin would not too high like the price right now because there is no other coin trying to get number 1 in crypto currency.

Altcoins actually help with the bitcoin's growth. Because if there are no altcoins, people would not have anything to choose to from aside bitcoin, thus, there could be fewer users.

I don't think that without altcoins Bitcoin would have no value, but I think they are helping Bitcoin to be more adopted. People, young kids especially, like to collect some altcoins because for some reasons it looks like you have more if you have say 1000 DOGE instead of 0.00037 BTC.  

After spending some time earning altcoins they realize that collecting Bitcoins is better and hence Btcoin gets more adopters.

bitcoin will be alive even theres no altcoin because it can be use by investors bitcoin was the first internet currency than other alt coin for me bitcoin will be more famous if there a alt coin in it and bitcoin is the main father of all alt coin or crypto currencyz

Altcoins definitely added some popularity to bitcoin's fame. I am glad they exist.

Although I think that there are too many altcoins out there at the moment, I think that altcoins in general are necessary for bitcoin.
They are used for trading, for pumping and dumping, lots of people earn with those.
So they are used to increase popularity pf bitcoin as well because bitcoin is always the reference currency.

Most of the altcoins start with a crowdfunding and with investing (ICO) at most of these funds are accumulated in bitcoin.
By this not only that these altcoins become popular but also bitcoin become more popular because through bitcoin they are investing in another cryptocurrency.

Indeed. Maybe doubling bitcoin could be possible in investing with altcoins. They have been looking for a way to double it, it might not be that fast but it could happen if the invested alt will really shine.

I haven't invested in any ICO but it contains the risk, because the price after the ico can drop and you can lose.
But also it is a good opportunity to make a profit, I saw many coins that their exchange rate was way to high than the ICO price.

if you invest into an ico you should always remember that the risks are huge, thats why i never do such investments because i would lose money

Because I have seen lots of threads that are about ICO scam then this makes me a bit afraid to invest in any ico of altcoins.
But when I check how much the community has invested in these ico it's unbelievable and sometimes it reaches millions of dollars.

Definitely not. Bitcoin is simply popular and without other altcoin bitcoin would have much more value as there would be much more demand of bitcoin if no other coin exist and bitcoin would cross the boundaries of is price.

did you know that most of altcoin using bitcoin as a base currency and encourage people to invest into the specific altcoin or i say investing in an ICO using bitcoin? so it's definitely a free-advertising for bitcoin and could make bitcoin even more popular,when an altcoin just make an advertisiment out there to make people investing so bitcoin will be automatically represented

The bitcoin without the altcoin would not be good at all, I think the bitcoin would never be so big as it now, the altcoins really helped the bitcoin for sure.
The altcoins really made some price increasings for the bitcoin without any doubts.

I don't believe that altcoins help bitcoin to grow but actually altcoins are used because they are connected to bitcoin and the users of bitcoin trade altcoins so that they can earn more bitcoins, so the prices of altcoins depend on bitcoin but not the price of bitcoin depends on altcoins.

Well for me bitocin can live witouth those alt coin or alternative coins because bitcoin was the first crypto currency made it was build in 31 October 2008 and alt coin was develop in October 2011 there for bitcoin was living in almost 3 years without the alternative coins such litecoin or any alt coin

but without altcoins crypto trading world will not created
so we cant get profits from altcoins

Bitcoin can exist without altcoins, Bitcoin was first and existed before altcoins appeared. But it is normal that cryptocurrency world develops and altcoins appear.

I do not really know what than would happen with the bitcoin, I think the price would be a lot lower plus that it also would not be so popular as now.
Trading would also not be like it is now.

Bitcoin without altcoin will definitely continue exist, but I think altcoin without bitcoin will be useless at all. That's what my perception about it. And there few coins are very established and I think it will exist still, that will depend in the community if they will continually use it.

There are many promising coins such ethereum 

ethereum was really promising since it has a huge support from the market the only problem is that when can they still support that coin. XMR is dominating in the market right now and it surpasses ETH at the moment.
