what a drama unfolding elsewhere, it is refreshing to return back here, yeah checked the master code payouts at steady rate 20 coins per node.. 84 nodes not yet ready to enlarge the network but I certainly will...
btw dash (I follow em for obvious reasons) wants to push international presence more.. just fyik..
if you want a tip unrelated.. game credits will be big.. game industry adaptation is happening, probably still relatively low-risk big gain capture, profits if you want you can pump right back here (cant preach enough ever expanding private network aka master nodes)
another tip, get bitcoin dark... and wait for komodo sale to complete then swap for komodo, komodo is like zcash except no 20% shave to developers, same tech.. you will make a nice bundle for sure
komodo has big chance to run up to 50$ , while btcd is now let see , around 3$ however all depends on swap ratio.. still (+ komodo will be joined by btcd top level c++ developer... and that is priceless always)
zcash don't touch with a 10 foot pole, despite claims that in 4 years it will replace BTC... the 20% fee is downright insane, tech can be cloned which it did already in 3 different coins (but without crypto background few stand a chance.. just hacks with some rudimentary level of coding not beyond), komodo is one of em but plus extra resources which other coins simply do not have.. anyways enough tips..if you "win" re-purchase dnet

Cube satellites - Vector Space Systems - Jim Cantrell is the CEO. Just google his name and be shocked to see how successful he is. Colin Cantrell is the main dev, Jims son who is working in partnership with him one of the features is to put Nexus on these cube sats to create world wide decentralized broadcast all around the wold. You may have seen Elon Musk in the news wanting to put satellites in space for worldwide internet recently? Vector are a head in this Jim Cantrell was one of the founding members of Space X and branched out on his own. "I'm working on our letter of intent for VECTOR and NEXUS at the moment, just about ready to sign and wrap the deal into a beautiful PR campaign to the outside world having Nexus technology power the new way of computing and the Internet, space" Colin Cantrell. https://twitter.com/mirraxFTC/status/798217450739220481 <<<< THIS. He has created his own DB which is 10x faster than googles and has coded nexus from the ground up to improve on flaws of bitcoin. Reversible Transactions. The list goes on. There is videos of colin discussing things on the main op, blew my mind.

If you have also done: Step 4: Open the darknet.conf file in your wallets working directory, edit it like so;
rpcuser-long random username rpcpassword=longer random password rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=256 masternodeaddr=<your external IP address> masternode=1 masternodeprivkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Everything seems fine, it should work. Let's see if any other have a better idea. Salute

It specifically states this in the instructions.

First u need to establish which way u will create your masternode. 1 location node or many remote nodes.
The i structures on the OP have both sets of instructions.
I would suggest using the remote setup as it is much safer and u can run more nodes.

Step 4 in the single masternode setup has an error in it. Where it says <your external ip> should also include the port. This took me a few hours to figure out and kept giving me the 0 port error. Here is my darknet.conf addnode=108.61.151.69 addnode=173.245.158.8 addnode=coin-server.com addnode=185.117.72.180 addnode=164.132.25.216 addnode=5.39.8.251 addnode=164.132.143.9 addnode=46.8.44.81 addnode=104.172.24.79 addnode=2.230.243.216 listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 port=51472 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=256 rpcuser=s0methingCrazyAndRandom rpcpassword=s0methingCrazyAndRandom rpcport=51470 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 masternodeaddr=<EXTERNAL_PUBLIC_IP>:51472 masternode=1 masternodeprivkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXyourMasternodePrivkeyXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I also added to the file for masternodes.conf (not sure if this was necessary for a single node): # Masternode config file # Format: alias IP:port masternodeprivkey collateral_output_txid collateral_output_index # Example: mn1 127.0.0.2:51474 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg MasterNode 127.0.0.1:51472 masternodeprivkey collateral_output_txid collateral_output_index

You shouldn't need the port number in the Darknet.conf file (but won't hurt to add it) but you will need the port number in the masternode.conf file. You can not use loopback addresses, or internal IP addresses as the external/masternode/bond or you will have issues as your nodes will be banned from the network.
