Steve,

still no answere about my questions ....
What about 10 EGC to Foundation Wallet at Mining ?
What about missing EGC in Wallet ?

.............

I know some of you are waiting for secondary responses from me with your matters. Please know that no matter is being ignored and all matters will be dealt with. I do have to give securing the network and communicating with pools and exchanges the utmost priority at this time. Thank you for understanding I must follow this priority.

EGC does have some pressing issues going on so, please don't misinterpret that as you being ignored, as I have asked of you both publicly in this thread and privately in my multiple PMs to you. Since these polite requests clearly do not appease you, let me address your concerns to the best of my ability now.

The "10 EGC to [the] foundation" issue would not be a normal occurrence of the code and is unexpected. I see presently, and to the best of my knowledge, mined blocks are paying only 1 EGC to the foundation and 49 to the miner, as designed and hardcoded. Further investigation will be needed and the tx id you cited yesterday appears to be an invalid tx. I will investigate this more, when time is permitting and there is not much more urgent issues that demand my attention.

About "missing EGC", it is your responsibility to maintain your wallet. Not mine nor someone else's. That said, I have clearly stated, again both publicly and privately to you specifically, myself and the foundation will graciously be replacing any coins that are deemed sufficiently proven to be in-fact missing, even though it is of no fault of mine, the foundation's, nor the wallet's. Those cases will be individually investigated in the order they were received, again time permitting and after order is restored.

@Dev,  I have problem with my wallet.

I was in the right chain, but seems everything are gone.
I'm using the latest wallet version. And try to get blockhash as crysx mention on earlier post.
I had download the bootstrap.dat blockchain, the  extract it and put in wallet blockchain data dir, and it's done imported, and sync'd.
I've tried to mine see if it's ok and back as previously.
Then I left it alone for few hours, while I'm going out.

When I'm back, I need to restart whole system in Win10 after updating my drivers. When it's back and open my wallet were sync as usual, but it's strange that have more unsync'd blocks, about 1,500 blocks.
When it's done sync'd, I got unconfirmed and empty on my wallet.

I tried once more to clear everything except wallet.dat (already backup also), but all transactions are gone, left only one the last transaction, which I've done successfull sent it to test, see if yobit is back or not.

I hope you might have some explanations for this issue..

Have you tried "repairwallet" from the debug console? This will force the wallet to reconcile itself.

I hope that is a resolution for you.

This does sound very odd. Perhaps verify you have not forked a bit more recently. Use the block explorer found at http://transactions.evergreencoin.org and see if you have a block height that is very close to the block height it is at. It would be normal for the block explorer to be displaying a height of a few blocks lower. Try also to compare the block hash of a very recent block.

For example, 423800 has passed just a few minutes ago and since you first reported your issue.

getblockhash 423800
should return
91c8e19eea532e9cd493aecc8e4153198c95b6b8972b8338c25beb16287a5b72

If all those test indicate you are on the correct chain, perhaps close the wallet, restore your backup wallet.dat, and relaunch the wallet.

EDIT: by "few blocks lower" I mean 2 to 4 blocks.

Ok, it looks like are you are on the correct chain. That is a good thing.

So if I am understanding correctly, and forgive me if I am not, there is a small language barrier, you had more transactions that you do not see now. These transactions that are misplaced, when did they occur? Where they withdrawals from an exchange? If so, which one?

Please excuse me if I am not understanding the situation correctly and I am sorry you are having difficulties.

My questioning is trying to figure out if you were on a fork in the past. That is why I ask, as that could be an explanation.

Quote
you had more transactions that you do not see now.
Yes, I can't see my prev transactions in list.
About couple of hours after you distribute the bootstrap.dat, I tried to clear everything and left the wallet.dat (after backup).
Then continue as describes in my earlier post. And all gone!

Quote
These transactions that are misplaced, when did they occur?
I'm not sure exactly, some transactions from past, before you distributed the bootstrap.dat,
and more after wallet got fully sync'd (after imported bootstrap.dat from clean blockchain datadir).
Then mined with rigs, got some blocks then I left it run, as I describe in earlier post.

Quote
Where they withdrawals from an exchange?
Not withdraw. I got prev coins from friends and mined, and I just want to exchange some amount on yobit. Tried with small 4 EGC to see if everything back as usual. But  Sad Lips sealed

Now just left only 44.999 unconfirmed coins.

Lets moving on, it's a very very bad day ever!

More good news! C-Cex has passed their internal audit after syncing to the correct blockchain! No coin discrepancy reconciliation needed by the EGC Foundation! Smiley

Of course this came after a skype chat 15 minutes ago with the admin informing me there was a 180k coin discrepancy. Shocked My heart dropped!!! We investigated the tx's that appeared invalid and not until a repairwallet was run did we find everything balanced out. Relieved is an understatement. 180k would have broke the foundation. WHEW!!!

Is the statosphere launch starting today or not? Waiting so long now for the first event of EGC. EGC need to show that he is not only a shit coin! It don't has some technical innovation compared to other coins or anything that would make EGC better than other coins. Thats why we really need that launch to show we are real here! Hope you don't say today that the launch is next month...

Good news I am happy to see evergreen is building his community and growing! The launch will be a big part for this I think. We need to spread the launch to many places. Perhaps some investments in advetising would be good. Many rich people are now investing into rewnewable energy and green companies. We need to get in contaced with them to get evergreen on its real valvue. Not only gabis own london project. I would be happy to see people buying the green energy cars later in EGC or something like that. We need a payment gateway to lure the most people to EGC in my opinion. I was watching the EGC price for quite a while now and I see a really low daily buy side only a big buy side one or two times because somebody bought very much coins. We need a steady daily buy and sell thats why I say a payment way is needed.

No apologies necessary, perfectly understandable English. Yes, the community is strong and brimming with very helpful people. I do hope through all this fork troubles the community has learned of my dedication. That is the only silver lining I can find of all these troubles, sleep deprivation, and darn near strokes it has caused. Yes of course I know member's of the community have stressed over financial losses through it as well, and I hope I have thoroughly and sincerely conveyed my concern with that matter specifically enough for people to trust it is real.

Yes, not only will the strato launch be a gigantic milestone for EGC but an achievement for crypto in general. For that, I am truly proud of EGC. Gabi has been talking of future launches as I have mentioned and some other intriguing plans that I will not mention now and steal his thunder from him. I will allow those announcements for the near future and to be done by Gabi himself. Also there has been some recent talk in the IRC by another balloon enthusiast. Unfortunately all the fork madness has pulled me away from those conversations but, surely once the dust settles and order is restored I will pick those back up. Perhaps we can bring launches to other continents also.

Yes, a payment gateway is greatly needed. I know some crypto friendly merchants that would gladly accept EverGreenCoin. A payment processing gateway would be gigantic for EGC as many environmentally friendly ("earthy", "green", "organic", ect.) merchants would find it a nice fit to their business. Of course the steady buy support would be terrific for the market as you mentioned.

The fork issue has been a speed bump no doubt. I am glad it appears we will be getting over it without it becoming a hurdle or a major hindrance. We are seeing fewer and fewer bans on the seednodes. A sure sign fewer forked blockchains and wallets are out there. I have put more than a few community members worries of disappearing coins to rest and now a couple exchanges also. We are not out of the woods yet, but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I thank the many of you that have helped and stayed calm and collective. Especially crysx for reminding me to breath! Wink

Thanks for sharing your thoughts abyaby! #ToTheTreetop

Anybody have idea whats the next plan of OP ? I just bought some huge amount of EGC , hope it doesn't go as a waste . Democracy always catches my eyes , hope I dint do wrong . Any suggestions ? whether I have to buy more or start selling ? I bought coins at 800 sats, which I consider very cheap. Smiley Smiley Smiley

The next event is planed on May 27th the statosphere launch and 800 sat for EGC is cheap on it lowest you could get it for 500-700 sat but I think the price will get stabil at 1k sat the next days. Buy so much coins how you can later it will be more expensive. And don´t forget its a longtime project and don´t except a price jump after 1 day Smiley
Just buy and wait thats the best what you can make.

I'm still looking into a cheap solution to mine/stake.
Atm I'm staking 24/7 with a Wintel W5 at a very low power consumption.
I had pure solar power in mind, but that turned out to be harder to do than I thought.
Now I set my mind to this little baby with a 5 inch screen and license free Windows 10. If that can be powered solely by the sun for an affordable price, that's my favorite for the moment.
