I have the same question. I thought we had 24 hours from when the ICO went live, but when I went to buy, the count down said there were fewer than 29 days left. There was a delay at launch so the timer is a bit off. You still have approx. 50 minutes to get the Day One bonus. |

So I learned that shapeshift was taking my alts and immediately dumping them on bittrex, then sending me corresponding amount BTC
Really stupid, considering there is much more buy support for this altcoin on poloniex
Lesson is, DON'T USE SHAPESHIFT, transfer to altcoin exchanges and sell alts manually for BTC
Oh! Good to know. I know shapeshift is convenient for most users who do not want to deal with changing their altcoins to bitcoin. I agree, selling them individually makes more sense!  |

I would assume so. But don't get discouraged! The day one reward were 200,000 Lisk distributed to all BTC donations and ShapeShift conversions (~655 BTC so 305 Lisk per BTC donated, not much) You still have a full week with a 15% bonus for all BTC donations and ShapeShift conversions. |

Good question! If I were to guess, BTC and Crypti have timestamps on their respective transaction ID's. I don't know about ShapeShift though. |

if your exchange number is lower than like 980 you should be within the 1st day Well hopefully this 1st day bonus is nice for the early adopters. I felt that investing early would be the best bet |

Good question! If I were to guess, BTC and Crypti have timestamps on their respective transaction ID's. I don't know about ShapeShift though. The Time of the Exchange actually appears under "Time" column on your Exchange details page on https://ico.lisk.ioOP said previously: First day rewardYou can still get the first day rewards until 6.30AM GMT+1, 23rd February 2016. Please use THIS clock for reference. Since lisk.io time is in UTC, the time that appears under "Time" column on your Exchange details page should be before Feb 23 at 05:30 to get 1st day reward.  |

I can't believe that people have sent these guys over 600Btc, I literately can't believe it. I could be mistaken but I just see all these other people out there, actual developers, who could do everything better, so why should these guys win? :/

I think a large part is about the initial idea > using javascript for wider adoption, which investors find interesting. |

Nope, 1st day reward was 200,000 LISK only and it would be divided between all the 1st day BTC and Shapeshift investors so the amount of bonus LISK received by each investor wouldn't amount much. It was a brilliant idea by Max/Olivier to get more people into the ICO on the first day and it seems to have worked in an equally brilliant way! |
