LISK could be closing the project to re-launch a third one and you idiots would still crowdfund it.
And it's not just LISK, people are doing similar shit with ''The DAO'' for Ethereum at the moment. Jumping in, hoping for the moon, not understanding what the fuck it is about.

No you fucking won't. Show me one ''killer'' app that's under development.

Please tell me how. You tell the average joe right now how a decentralised app is going to rock his world. A new paradigm. Bla bla. Give me a few GOOD reasons why dapps are so revolutionary that Lisk is the next unicorm. They're not. No one needs dapps. No one gives a shit. Smart contracts is more where it's at.
Thank you someone that gets the point I was trying to make since page like 100 lol. I hope folks aren't in for a rude awakening and lisk finds some future success sure, but at the same time much of it and posts in here make me think otherwise. Given the BTC into it there will be pnd action for sure at least. Esp since so much is talk vs. other coins (like wbb) that have actual product coming out (hardware and software very soon) ready for DAPP development and a lot more. Dapps are combination of native blockchain functions in apps format. There are killer apps possible for shopping p.e. Etc. Research and development is needed. Lisk has more potential than waves or a dao at the moment. So the community should hold together and not getting devided by whales or na sayers. Lets see |

Look, average Joe tells many years later:
I bought the Lisk many years ago for about 100 bucks (0,25 BTC).
The Lisk is literally just for speculating, pumping and dumping. It does nothing else. No Javascript compatibility with DAPP, no connectivity to other crypto systems like BTC, ETH, nothing.
In the end, if you can buy it cheap it's a nice coin. Though if you ever plan on using any Lisk environment, then I wouldn't bother.
Personally, I think the Lisk is just adorable.

Some thoughts about the DAO... Most of the hype comes from 'new' money from the eth bubble.
The Ethereum price is quite stable at the moment. There is no big increase. Does it mean the DAO prevents its drop? Quite possibly; it could drop significantly when the DAO funding stage ends. etheruem only have about 8,000btc of all the $800million market cap. if dao decided to dump their eth and get real cash to fund their coding, marketing and hiring then this scam vaporware etheureum could drop from $800million market cap to $8million in an instant. And ethereum is broke as a joke now. They even had to shut down their forum over $300 per month. |

There will be no delay due to other ICO's ending close to Lisk's launch date. We will not play the markets, and never will.
Lisk, as with every other crypto-currency in existence, is another step towards the right direction. Most of the people involved in the decentralized movement have yet to see the importance of testing different kinds of algorithms. Lisk is the FIRST platform that will provide a viable solution to scalability with it's current sidechains platform. We are hopeful that our path of decentralized applications running on sidechains will bring further innovations within the crypto ecosystem. Success is a marathon; as seen with Bitcoin, it takes time. There is no certainty of success with any of the current crypto experiments, but we have the resources, the motivation and most importantly, the grit to make it succeed.
Look at the bigger picture, decentralized networks is a big change from the centralized world we currently live in. This is what the decentralized movement is striving for; the people should have a choice.
