When are full nodes expected to be released?

In the next few days, first of all will be the public testing.

When full nodes are released, I am thinking Waves will be listed in Poloniex after. Poloniex is said to run full nodes of all the coins in their exchange. But the problem is how long until they release it?

In slack they are saying, on christmas, but maybe there will be a delay.

You are kidding right? fools nodes? That was for the fool man, and fool people believe that the price of waves will increase if the full nodes will release, we have been here before and we think that the price will be great when waves launch in trading sites but look what happen?

We just need time to see the real development.

I have to say, i am happy Waves price is holding up well, i thought due to the delays with full noes and such, people would panic sell, but looking really good at 29k satoshi.  Cant see it dropping lower than 25k

I have to say, i am happy Waves price is holding up well, i thought due to the delays with full noes and such, people would panic sell, but looking really good at 29k satoshi.  Cant see it dropping lower than 25k  

Im not too fussed about price either.  It might even be for the better if it dropped below 25k. If would allow all the people who are planning dumping after any rise to get out now.  I'm expecting to be in this for the long Haul so at least with a price srop maybe some people with genuine interest in the coin can buy in.

Not that is something WAVES team has to explain. its either they didn't sent the full nodes to them or Polo really has something against waves.

They won't list anything without open source code that they can audit.  At present the WAVES code is closed source.  That is why they refused to list.  That is also why it won't be listed immediately even when the open source code (for full nodes) is released.  They will need to wait for it to get audited first and given that this completely new code which has not been used before it will take longer.  That is probably also why the WAVES team want to be absolutely sure that the code is secure to prevent any further delays in getting listed as well.

Better safe than sorry. I would rather the WAVES team test the code properly before releasing the full node code.

We do not want WAVES to get hacked like STEEM.

So what they send to Polo weeks ago just when they request to be added isn't an opensource code?
okay thats something i can understand. good to know.. they didn't post this info on their blog but wants us to go to the slack channel.  they should just post the convo on the blog.

It's on Wavestalk.org too I think.  Poloniex always review the open source code.  The current code is not open source so they won't even consider listing it.  Yes I have consistently said that the team's communication of these things is terrible.
