Here's the thing.  F1 teams not only acquire drivers just to drive.  They acquire them also for their experience and by giving their inputs to the team's engineers in how to tweak and set up the car.  Vettel's position in Aston Martin was something like it imo.

And at over 40, Hamilton's reflexes are still sharp.  So with a decent car, he still could win races at any given weekend.  It's not like Raikonnen in that last season he retired when you could see there were a few times he could've caused a crash as it was starting to look like he was losing his reflexes as an F1 driver.

Of course, a driver also has to be strong in terms of development. Michael Schumacher, for example, was one such driver who helped build up a team over the years, as he did at Ferrari and Mercedes.

Hamilton's reflexes will also fade, but he's still fully motivated. In Räikkönen's case, I don't think it was just only his reflexes, but he wasn't fully focussed and was depressed because of the bad car.

Yeah, cos you were saying you didn't understand Ferrari's move because Hamilton is 'old'.  It totally makes a lot of sense as they're team has been sucking for the past what...?  The past decade?  Acquiring Hamilton's services and what he could give to the team would be very invaluable.  It's a good move imho.  And he's gonna give the team some grit on the grid.  He could prolly teach LecLerc a thing or two to win vs Verstappen. 

As for his reflexes, they aren't fading fading yet.  He could be like a Messi or a Ronaldo...  Both ageless wonders.

It is very unfortunate for Morbidelli who had to follow the doctor's advice not to take part in the official MotoGP test at Sepang today and also for Raul Fernandez who also had to fly to Spain today to recover from his injury, making him also unable to take part in the official test at Sepang on Today. Lewis Hamilton could actually do fine with Ferrari, not because he is going to end up with a change of team, Mercedes is a great team, but also we have seen Ferrari do fine with their car so far in the past two years, hell the yare the only team that won this year aside from Red Bull right? If I remember correctly they are the only one.

So if Hamilton leaves, and I do not know if Bono is leaving as well, but if he leaves too, then Lewis will have someone inside, Bono will make sure the team runs smooth and how it should be, and Lewis will take 100% out of that car, and considering he rarely crashes the car or does something dangerous, not ever, but rarely, so that means he could actually collect a good amount of points.

The most successful team in F1 at the moment is going through a crisis right now... just a few days before the launch of its car for the 2024 season, how embarrassing!

As far as I know, the controversy involves Horner who is being reported internally for inappropriate conduct by the company RedBull (the sponsor, not the F1 team) and there is already an investigation taking place within the team about this. Now, there is a race against time to clarify what actually happened and make a decision before the start of the championship. I doubt they will be able to do this before the February 15th launch, but if it doesn't happen, then Horner should stay away from the media more.

Everything is still very confusing, there is no conclusive information anywhere and it is not known for sure what the reason for the investigation is. Some sites are speculating that Horner had sent intimate photos to an employee (the most serious version), but there are other versions circulating as well... nothing has been confirmed so far.

This is what might really be going on.  And you know what, I think this sht is already known behind the scenes and that Horner already knows he's going to leave Red Bull at the end of the season.  And do you know who also might have heard about this?  Yep...  It could be Lewis Hamilton.  He prolly knows Horner's next destination in Ferrari.    They did made an attempt to hire him before but was rejected.  This time Horner is free to join.  What a season 2025 would be if it happens...

This is a classic problem for Ferrari because it is quite lacking in terms of aerodynamics and until now it is still difficult to find engineers who are qualified enough in this matter. Even though Vasseur is currently working on this, it will likely still be a problem in the next few seasons because the engineer needs adaptation and familiarization with the Ferrari car which may take time. If Vasseur still can't find the right aerodynamics engineer, perhaps it will be difficult for them to overtake RBR.

It is said to be inappropriate photos as I also mentioned on my post on the previous page. Now it isn't clear who the boss will be in case of Christian Horner's unexpected departure. Some sources say Helmut Marko could take the helm there also. But can he do both jobs effectively at the same time? I don't think this is the most efficient way to solve this problem.  

I would have really liked to say Binotto could be an option but I can't... Because he isn't a good boss I'm afraid despite being a great engineer. He has a lot to improve among his management skills.

When it comes to Newey his probable departure would be really sad for Red Bull. But I don't know if Horner's leaving would have a big impact on him such as that.

Lol don't think so.  They had one of the best CTO's in F1 in Binotto but what they lacked was good leadership and a good strategist.  Horner could bring it and if Newey tags along with him and with Hamilton now with the team..?  Omg, they def will win titles and I'm here for it.  It's been a while since that first Verstappen win.  I want to see some excitement back in F1 again. 

And is it just me or is it really in the realms of possbility that Vettel will be Red Bull's next team principal?  There were some signs he was going to be while he was driving for them.  He was always known to be in the garage with the engineers or with Horner trying to learn more about the ins and outs of the team.

only issues and rumors if horner was fired from redbull. the reality is that horner has even extended his contract with redbull to a longer duration.
It would be very surprising if horner was fired and even more spectacular if he joined redbull to ferrari or mercedez.

Racing Bulls have also introduced their car design. What are your thoughts?

Truthfully I really liked the design.    There isn't such thing like a specific color making the car look boring due to overusage for example. There is a good mix of colours. Sponsors also look nicely placed on the car.

Let's see what kind of a season is waiting for Racing Bulls. As AlphaTauri they were really good in the last times of the season we have left behind newly.

The Silverstone Gp is a legendary track that during the years has seen quite a lot of changes and the passion there for motorsport is huge and never missing so for me it is only natural to have had such a big extension.This track to make an analogy is like the Monza Gp of Italy or Spa in Belgium,without such tracks the F1 season would not be the same.I though think that the design architects of the tracks can learn a lot from Nes/Snes games of the 90-s how a challenging track should be.

From what I understand, Horner didn't do anything regarding that type of sexual in nature stuff, it is just "controlling" that was discussed. That is a broad term but has nothing to do with sexual allegations because if that was the case then they would just say that.

This could be anything from "you can't take a sick day" to "you have to answer my emails within an hour", it's a boss thing, he just had a controlling relationship, basically what we call "mobbing" in the work place. I wouldn't be shocked to learn Horner did mobbing, that is normal in the business world unfortunately and people who are that much at the top think that they are gods, that can't be questioned, and this could be the main reason why all of this started.
