FP2 was delayed due to some man hole cover missing.  Lmao.  As it's a new track, this doesn't look good.  How many more shenanigans are there for the track?  I hope everything is good and ready for the race...  And not just that, I hope everything will be safe for the drivers.

All in all, watched a bit of FP2 and I gotta say the view of the buildings with the lights are good.  Kinda like a GT game.    Anybody play GT here?

Here are the results for both FP1 and FP2.

After so much money were invested into this GP, it's ridiculous that such things happens. And when you see thathole in Sainz car, it could have ended much worse. Now both Alpine and Ferrari will have to use new chasis because of these accidents. And cherry on top was helding P2 behind closed doors. I still don't get exact reasons why they done it, but fans who paid so much money fortickets should be mad.
I'm not big fan of Las Vegas GP, butall these lights and sphere looks impressive. But that's all what I can say about this track. I expect that Liberty Media have already prepared some cring things that happens only in America for Saturday and Sunday.

Today's pilots, team owners or teams (with exceptions) have become the slave to the almighty dollar. They still speak shamelessly "it is a great pleasure to compete here". Yeah, teams reaction surprised me in negative way. And that 10 places penalty is so unfair. Yes, Ferrari changed lot of car components, but that was completely not team or Sainz fault.
Didn't expected to see Leclerc pole, but I wouldn't be very surprised if he will lose P1 to Max before Turn 1.
Already set my alarm clock to get up for race - it will start at 8 AM in my country.

Ferrari had a great day in qualifying today. I was expecting them to be competitive though. Because Ferrari are known by being better on straights compared to their performance at turns. Leclerc and Sainz took advantage of that very nicely as a result. It was nice to see Sainz being right behind Leclerc despite having a rough weekend so far.

However he is going to be starting at the 12th position of course. But I still am confident he will climb many positions. Verstappen is starting right behind Leclerc and I wonder how much time it will take him to overtake Leclerc.

Yup, Leclerc made a good performance in the qualifying session by pushing his car, but it was a shame that Sainz had to be punished and put him in P12. This caused Ferrari's strategy to be disrupted, because with Sainz in P2, it could limit Max's movements, but unfortunately Max was behind Leclerc which meant that Ferrari had little chance of winning this race. Hopefully Ferrari can maintain its position, at least they have to get P3 to not be embarrassed.

These guys need to toughen up if they want to go toe to toe vs Verstappen imho.  Hamilton showed how it can be done.  And it's gonna be more entertaining for the fans.

Surely Leclerc is not the guy to race in an overaggressive mode and you cannot expect that from him,just remember the Monza race where Leclerc did not over do it against Sainz at that race,the only good from him was that he did not care at all about the team orders and he fought until the very last lap against his team mate although not in aggressive mode.

The fact that Verstappen only won by 2 seconds advantage means that Redbull did not dominate the race and I wonder how come Perez came from 12th to 3rd to get another podium and definitively winning the 2nd place for Redbull and most likely securing the other year spot at Redbull.

I was really surprised when I saw FIA doing the right thing about the Verstappen - Leclerc rivalry at the beginning.    Because you know how FIA are acting different mostly for some "special drivers". Verstappen is that driver now and it was Hamilton in the past also. I didn't even understand the reason why Verstappen acted like it wasn't his fault. Leclerc was ahead of him while entering that turn in the end.

When it comes to the race it was really lovely truthfully.    This was such a horrible track for F1 above all else. But the race went on much more enjoyable than I imagined. We saw lots of SC situations.

That rivalry among Verstappen-Leclerc-Perez trio was also incredible!    I would have liked to see a better defending from Perez at the turn Leclerc overtook him in the last lap though.

I thought the Las Vegas race was quite boring because the shape of the track was like an "upside-down pig", but I was wrong, it was very exciting, especially when Charles fought Max and Checo, the dude really pushed the performance of his car and showed off his skills. In the final lap he really made an aggressive corner which took him to P2 and got rid of Checo, if only Sainz had been in P2 maybe we would have been able to see a proper race between Redbull vs Ferrari.

I also want to wait for the competition between the two of them in the sprint race. The results of the sprint race will make it easier for us to read whose chances are greater to win MotoGP 2023. I don't think it will be that tight honestly,Mercedes has been not doing well at all lately and I don't understand why such a downturn in their pace when just some races before it looked like they were coming back.Ferrari is on a much better performance in the recent races and that for me is enough to decide that most likely without idiotic penalties like that of Sainz in this race,Ferrari is going to win this battle,after all they have been the better team and have also won races during this season,something Mercedes has not done.

I think Charles got the countries mixed up and instead of Las Vegas, the centre of glamour, he thought he was in Monaco, another centre of glamour, and made a wonderful passing. At the end of the race, in the conversation between the drivers, leclerc was trying to find out if verstappen had pitted behind the safety car. He kept asking verstappen if he thought my tyres were older than yours. It was an enjoyable and competitive race compared to expectations. If sainz had not been given a grid penalty, I am sure it would have had an impact on the race and the struggle. A very enjoyable race that unexpectedly did the city justice. Luck was never on Ferrari's side this week, but lec created his own luck, it was very enjoyable to watch this ambition and stubbornness. this weekend's race will determine whether martin or bagnaia will be the winner. bagnaia only needs 4 more points than martin to secure the world championship title. and for martin, he just needs a miracle so bagnaia can't finish the race and sprint, and then he can win the world championship title.

Its incredible how dominant this RedBull car is, with his front wing damage he still cut the gap and surprases Leclerc without so much effort, i know Max is a super driver, but that car is out of this competition.
For ferrari still good to see they find something good in the car so they can keep working for the next year.
